Tucson is known for their amazing Mexican food so that means amazing tortillas. This place is my go to every single time I go to Tucson. I take an extra carry-on bag and I make sure I bring dozens of tortillas with me home to Texas. Keep in mind the only accept cash. You can park on the side and usually they have tortillas right in the front so you can go in and out. They also have tamales and Carnesecca but I am there soley for the amazing tortillas. The people they're making that tortillas are usually playing music and having a good time. They even bring a warm tortilla that was just cooked when you walk in there's even a little bit of butter that you can add to it if you like! read more

I drove by this establishment on my way to an upholstery shop. It was quite busy so I decided to check it out, not knowing what to expect. I decided on the dozen large tortillas. The hubs and I walked up to pay when the friendly cashier asked if we wanted a tortilla? We said sure! So I started opening my package when she said no! I'll bring you one. Yup I was perplexed. I must've had that hungry look when she takes a few steps & picks 2 off the griddle placing them on paper towels & pointing to the butter. Someone introduced me to these tortillas and I continue to get them. They are really wonderful. They last longer than others I have had. They are thin and taste great. They are good for a snack by themself or a cheese quesadilla or wrap. It's one of those things where you buy a dozen and pretty soon, it's two dozen.
