I'm editing this about 9 months after our initial install. The quality of customer service has gone down considerably after everything was said and done. About 3 months after our initial install we got a call saying that the technician who installed our panels originally didn't do it right and is no longer with the company. They said they would have to come out and reinstall everything including moving our battery from inside the garage to outside of the house. They then informed us they're booked out for about 2 months so we would have to wait. We ended up not producing any electricity all of April in May because of this. During this whole ordeal it was like pulling teeth trying to get anyone to talk to us. We finally got things fixed and I was hoping that was the end of it. When we were sold the panels they told us that they monitor everyone's usage so they would be aware if any of our panels went out before we did and would promptly fix it. That isn't the case. We noticed that we had a panel go out at the beginning of this month (August) and they never noticed. It's almost the end of the month and we've tried calling every day this week to be sent straight to voicemail and the voicemail box being full. We've tried to send emails and messaging through other platforms but all we're getting back is radio silence. I'm getting concerned about the quality of our panels and service. Our initial experience was really good but after we paid them things just haven't been going well. I'm hoping we hear back from someone soon so we can fix our broken panel. Great products...bills reduced BUT the sales experience was very misleading and borderline deceiving. Somehow I did not ask the right questions or was totally misled about the original loan we were setup with. Mine and my wife understood it to be a "deferred interest" loan which it ended up not being.....it actually is an interest 1st loan where the 1st 18 months of the loan payments are ALL interest. The salesman also made us believe that it was a totally "easy process" if and when we wanted to refinance the original loan into a 12 month no interest loan (as long as we qualified) that Circle L Solar would assist us with that. Turns out that is not the case at all....the loan department said they have nothing in the way of zero% options but wanted to sell me a mortgage refinance including the solar debt! No thanks! We were also not aware that the original loan would be a "lean" on my mortgage! Please don't make the same dumb decisions we did....ASK QUESTIONS and demand CLEAR ANSWERS! Lesson learned! read more

30 day follow up review. Circle L continues to amaze me at the lack of follow through and communication. After finally getting the go ahead to "flip the switch" there was never any follow up or site visits by a project manager. After receiving our electric bill, we noticed that there did not appear to be any change to our energy usage. I called and asked for a technician to come and perform an inspection. The technician indicated that the system had never been properly turned on. I have reached out to Circle L Solar, and not surprisingly, they have not responded to how they intend to resolve this. read more

What an awesome experience from the initial consultation to the project coordination to the install. These folks delivered a great product. They were able to make our house more energy efficient by sealing up duct work and installing a solar attic fan. Then came dealing with the power company and our HOA. All was handled in the most efficient way. The install team, I call them the "A" team of Rick and his crew, showed up on time and had the panels installed in record time and did a great job protecting things and cleaning up. At first I was only looking to get my attic fans replaced. When Tyler called me he said they only install solar attic fans. Once we began to talk I told him how I''ve been trying to make my house energy efficient and all that''s left is the attic/roof. At this point I had already priced the cost of a radiant shield and blown in insulation from a few other companies. He offered a deal that was cheaper than all other quotes I received, and it included the solar fans. I was shocked. So I saw Circle L Solar was a reputable company and invited Tyler over. We went over the details and I was satisfied with everything I saw on paper. The small crew showed up about a week later and installed the solar attic fan, thermal reflective insulation (radiant barrier) in the attic, and r-60 blown in insulation. The quality of the work was outstanding. As a DIY'er I pride myself on how things look when they are finished. Not only do I believe I couldn't have done it better myself, but I don't believe anyone else could have. it was fantastic. Before doing this work my house could only reach 20 degrees below outside temperature. In August when the temperature outside was 105 degrees, my house held at 78, and my electric bill dropped. I couldn't be happier. I''m recommending them to all my friends and co-workers. I don't usually post derogatory comments on a business as I would rather deal directly with the parties involved. However, when the company fails to return multiple phone calls nor answer several emails and text messages, I feel it necessary to let others know so they don't waste their time. I have posted on several solar ads advising caution and suggesting that folks shop around and ask questions and then shop some more and ask more questions. I did and feel like I am holding the very short end of the stick. I spoke to several solar companies, and they all had the gift for gab. I picked who I thought was the best. The panels were installed and I must assume properly. The company got their money promptly. The bid included the installation of a back-up generator which took a few months to finally receive. I used Circle L Solar Ft Worth Texas. 3914 Sandshell, 817-945-2011. I have questions but, after several phone calls, emails and text messages, I have yet to receive a response of any type. I would caution anyone against using this company if they expect service after the company gets their money. read more

Still in the process, phase 2, which was upgrading one of the existing AC units. The subcontractor came out on July 3rd and did the install, did a great job... however, after they had left and I went outside to check it all out, even though it looked great, it was the wrong one. We'd talked about a 16 Seer, dual stage Frigidaire unit (as best value, efficiency vs cost) and talked about substituting something equivalent, but this was a 14 Seer Goodman unit. It was the 4th of July so I didn't call that day, and dreaded the call. The 5th of July, I was taking my daughter out for the day, and I KNEW the call was going to be terrible, so I didn't call that day either, so that I wouldn't be upset all day on our outing. The 5th, I called Angie, our Salesperson, and she got back to me right when she said she would, asked what was up. I told her that the unit they installed wasn't the one we talked about, and that the one they put in wasn't really equivalent either. (And that the blower that was installed was so loud it sounded like a dialtone when the AC ran.) Her immediate response was "Don't worry, I'll handle it." That was the end of the call. An hour later, she called back and said they'd ordered the Frigidaire unit, and would probably be calling this next week to set up a time to install it if that was ok - she made sure we were't without air conditioning or anything.
