Forward to today, our roof had been great in spite of Texas' brutally hot summers and hailstorms, but with the accumulated hail damage over the years we decided (along with our insurance company) it was finally time to replace the 29-year-old roof! Again, we chose D. Bassett Roofing to do the work, and I'm here to report that nothing has changed. We experienced the same knowledgeable, honest & experienced workmanship that we had seen back in 1995. They also worked with our insurance adjuster providing pictures and other data and even met with him personally. In addition to the new roof, D. This3:16 roofing came to my door all of sudden and said there is only one spot which shows inner white layer so we will cover that free of cost as a goodwill gesture and my husband said okay.The next day he sent two guys they were working for the whole day just using the tarp to cover whole roof with unnecessary ring nail spoiling the whole part of the roof.He nailed each and every shingles with that nail forcing literally to go for insurance to replace the whole roof costing more than 10 grand.There was a very cruel intention behind his good gesture. He came out and did the original inspection and we got on the phone with Hartford and filed the claim together. He made sure that he was here when the Hartford inspector came out and fought to get everything that I was intitled to including impact-resistant shingles, gutters and replacement of roof turbines; he even added an extra one, on him. I was taken back about how quick and efficient their crew was. 6.5 hours to remove the old roof, replace 3 sheets of decking, install the new roof and complete cleanup.
