We just got back from vacation out of state and the first place we ate at when we got back was circle T in Belen on our way home. Food came out pretty quick. Everything was delicious and the chile had a nice bite. Customer service was kinda meh. But they weren't rude. I come here every once in a blue moon I know it's going to be expensive when I eat here but that doesn't stop me. It's definitely delicious. I'll be back again someday... read more

One star - never going back. I decided to try this place for the first time, and I really regret it. As soon as I walked in, the two cooks were sitting down scratching themselves and just staring at me, while the guy at the counter acted like he didn't want to be there at all. The energy was uncomfortable and unwelcoming from the start. After I placed my order, the cooks slowly got up and started working--but they never washed their hands or put on gloves, which is extremely concerning for any food establishment. I didn't feel safe saying anything because everyone there already seemed irritated and I didn't want to start an issue over food. When I got home, I was hoping at least the food would be hot enough to kill any germs, but the burgers were cold, the fries were also cold and completely unsalted, and the green chile was so spicy I couldn't even finish one bite. I honestly want a refund, but I don't even want to go back to ask for one. Disappointing experience all around. Just goes to show that sometimes trying something new isn't worth it. read more

Try the nachos with extra green chile piled on top! My mom through a coke on the owner once. She was cheap and thought if you asked for "lots of" something, green chile in this case, it should be free, as long as you didn't ask for "extra". Used to get the bacon green chile cheeseburgers. After securing a second mortgage on my home, I was able to afford a meal for two at the Circle T's west location. Burgers were good, cheese fries were good, and the cokes were the bees knees. I'm just shocked that I'm going to have to budget for the next 5 months after eating here. Pobre Belen, the City has literally no conveniently open places to eat, so we're stuck with these hole in the wall joints that have their market cornered. Of the one on Main, that man literally would not let me leave the enclosed space with no one wearing a mask because "it's ready right now" but it wasn't and I stood there with all these maskless people inside for too long with an airborne virus spreading and then they got my order wrong. My childhood memories include Circle T. My grandparents would take us there often for lunch. Their bacon cheeseburger and fries are my favorite meal there. I've ordered it since I was a child. The only reason I gave it 3 stars was because their fries aren't the same as they were 15 yrs ago and the burger is a bit different . I'm not sure what changes they made within the last 2 decades... but they definitely need to return to their old techniques!!! read more

I got the half pound burger and large fries and a medium drink cost almost $14. The burger was a single 1/2 lb Patty that was obviously and shaped but tasted like it came in a bag of 20 out of the freezer at Sam's Club and was then pan-fried. In most places when you order a half pound burger and have to pay extra for the cheese you get two slices of cheese. Not here. One small slice of cheese. Also one small slice of tomato for a half pound burger. The fries were cold limp and unsalted and at $2.50 I expected the large fries to actually be large. Fortunately the quality of the fries was poor enough that I did not want anymore as the quantity was about equal to a McDonald's medium fries. The size of the medium Coke was actually surprising it looks like about a 32 oz which is the size of a large in many places. It was served in a styrofoam cup that looks like somebody had been running their fingernails down the side of it. about the best thing I can say about this place is that their food will fill a hole and make a turd if you can afford it. read more

The food is way over priced for the quality. when I was there I saw a male employee with a friends daughter acting rather friendly toward her while he was behind the counter. I thought it to be very tasteless and inappropriate for a business. Knowing who this girl was also was very disturbing with her age. He refused to help the other employees because he was "busy". The green chili cheese burger is about 6 bucks and I've never eaten a burger with such a THIN patty. You could hardly even see the meat! heres something that's awesome about circle t. you can order a Jumbo Burger with bacon and green chile and cheese and ask for 2 hamburger patties at the main st location. circle t was never meant to be anything like carls jr but its flavorful. each location sells burgers differently. phils circle t on reinken (well,he owns both now.his dad retired).. at his, he sells 1/4lb hamburger patties. I remember taking my husband here and he had a burger so big it fit the take out box and took him 2 days to finish. it was awesome. phil sells ice cream at his location. at the main st location you might find jumbo hot dogs? maybe? and green chile cheese fries,or nachos.. theres a delicious bean burrito at main st that you can have the cook add green chile and cheese to it if she or he is nice and wants a regular customer. and milkshakes. they used to be open til 10pm at main st,now they close at 7pm so get to belen early and order early. they do take orders for large groups but don't complain if your order is wrong,and again come early.. its nothing like a franchise,just a small chain. and please don't compare it to mcds. fish is hard to make flavorful even at a small restaurant. circle t has been around for years,and so far those thin patties are still awesome when they used to get sold for fiesta burgers at our lady of belen catholic church fiestas that's coming soon in august. its family owned by gilbert tabet and phil tabet. read more
