Hello Foodzies, today I'm doing something I rarely do and that's posting a second post about a restaurant. The restaurant I'm talking about is Circle, Tavern in Elmwood Park. I was told to check out the cheesesteak flatbread. I've been there numerous times, their smash burgers, smoked clams, toasted raviolis and their sandwiches are very good. Circle, Tavern offers many things, it has gaming, TVs with wide variety of entertainment, music and of course great food. Our server Alex was attentive and helpful with her knowledge of the menu. Let me talk about this cheese steak flatbread. I've had many flatbread pizzas. This one on the other hand has a firm crust the toppings go from edge to edge unlike most of the flatbreads I've eaten which only fill the middle and you get nothing but bread, as you can see from my my photo the flatbread is completely covered. I highly recommend trying this flatbread pizza among all the other foods but the reason for the repost is that flatbread pizza. I give it five stars Ciao Ciao for now. Give it a try and let me know your opinion..

I have been waiting for this spot to open for months and was not disappointed on our first visit. The interior is very similar to the old setup that was 18 west, however they have done a few minor changes that improved the experience. Nice size bar, plenty of seating and a nice menu to compliment the bar. The first noticeable improvement was the addition of house liquors that are locally made; rum, bourbon, vodka, and gin all made in Wheeling, IL. Very impressed with the house liquors. The next compliment is on the menu; it's a small menu with wings, smash burgers, and sanGwiches - cool twist to a traditional menu item. Last, the craft beer list was on the smaller end but overall impressive. I'm pleased to say they did a great job on the craft beer offerings. Hopefully they rotate brews from time to time. The service was attentive and friendly and I hope that this place ends up being what I've wanted for the circle for so long - a good place to grab a quality drink and quick bite. More vegetarian options please!

Circle tavern was an undiscovered gem of a place. I'm so mad at myself for not finding out about circle taverns amazing atmosphere and food. This place was such a pleasant surprise and I almost want to keep it a secret. They had patio seating and was dog friendly. Everything that we ordered was so good and we all agreed it was the best we've had in a long time. From the double cheeseburger, Philly cheesesteak, tavern fries, and the bacon breadcrumbed mac and cheese everything was perfection. Perfection. I will soon become a frequent local here. The prices were legit in the portions were incredible. Well done circle tavern. I'll see you tomorrow.

Home of the smash burgers! I find the food here very enjoyable, especially their crispy thin crust-well done pizza and fried raviolis. The home-made sauce served with their onion rings is tangy and sweet with a spicy kick to it. Exceptionally good cheese steaks. So far, everything I have tasted here sums up to 5 Stars. See for yourself!

Go with the tavern cheesesteak sandwich and you won't be disappointed. Restaurant and bathrooms are clean, and the service is prompt.

Good baked clams and shrimp. Calamari was a little chewy. Prices were fare! I'm going back for a burger

I love that as soon as you enter, you are transported to a tropical oasis that is dark and moody. I visited with a larger group so we made a reservation before. One pays $5 per person in your group and the amount is later applied to your bill. The food menu is minimal and most items weren't available sadly. We got two orders of their pineapple salsa with taro chips. It was yummy but wasn't enough substance to match the drink levels. For drinks, our group got a wide variety. They have all sorts of flavor pairings to accommodate every guest. I got the Captain's Revenge after hearing the Pearl Diver was unavailable. It was good but not amazing. For my second drink, I got the Chocolate Banana Old Fashioned which I thoroughly enjoyed. I didn't hear anyone in our group be disappointed with what they ordered. Our server, Jazmine, was very knowledgable about the menu and asking the right questions to make sure what we each ordered would be something we liked. Overall, this was a fun experience and I am happy I finally got to visit! My experience was slightly tainted with how much was not available the night we visited.

Although we are from the area, we had never visited before, and the photos immediately caught our attention. The bar fit our vibe perfectly, and after visiting a few times, we knew it was the right place for us. We rented both spaces: the main bar upstairs and Nightshade, the speakeasy downstairs. Moonflower has a small stage in the main bar, which we used for our ceremony. The space already has so much character that it needed very little decorating. We brought small flower vases and an altar piece that the bride and her now mother in law made together. After the ceremony, we held cocktail hour and served food buffet style in the main bar. Later, everyone moved downstairs to Nightshade. Its lounge atmosphere and dance floor were perfect for our 50 to 60 guests. Some people relaxed around the cocktail tables while others danced, so everyone could enjoy the night in their own way. Moonflower's event organizer, Morgan, was wonderful. She made the entire planning process feel easy and was a joy to work with. She helped turn our ideas into reality, assisting with day of logistics, décor, beverage packages, and every question that came up. She was always responsive and available. Morgan also helped us think through details that had not occurred to us, including coffee for our guests, explaining the parking situation, contacting nearby businesses about using their lots, and recommending DJs. We ultimately hired one of the DJs she suggested. Her extra support was incredibly helpful and took a great deal of stress out of planning. If you have not tried Moonflower's drinks, you are missing out. Their regular cocktail menu is fantastic, and our experience was even more special because of a custom cocktail session with Zach. He created signature drink options for each of us based on our tastes and favorite cocktails. Every option was spectacular, and the final drinks felt personal and special. We chose Funeral Potatoes for the food. Since they already handle the food at Moonflower, we were able to try many dishes beforehand. Our guests raved about everything. We especially recommend the brussels sprouts, deviled eggs, and caprese sandwiches. Alexis, who heads up Funeral Potatoes, was also extremely helpful with selecting the menu. The only outside food we brought in was our wedding cake. The entire staff was phenomenal. Everyone treated the occasion with the perfect balance of care, professionalism, and fun. The night went off without a hitch and was truly one of the best nights of our lives. Moonflower was also extremely reasonable compared with other venues we considered in the city, especially with an open bar and food available on site. Street parking was plentiful, and none of our guests had trouble finding a spot. For anyone looking for a relaxed wedding for 50 to 60 people with a memorable lounge atmosphere, fantastic staff, buffet style food, and exceptional cocktails, Moonflower should be at the top of your list.

Super cute date night spot!…read more That being said, I went to meet a date and the staff was incredibly kind while I waited nearly 40 minutes for my date to show up late. (Insane of me to wait at all at that point, I know) I didn't end up eating the food here, but the beer selection was lovely, and the ambiance was a vibe. Will come back, definitely with someone else.
