I love this place especially for their French Martinis (they make really good ones). We had the chicken burgers and the mini zapiekanki. I love that this place has little bit of Mexican food mixed with some Polish and American. For me the service is great, because I think when I'm at a bar, I like when I'm not interrupted every 10 min. I also don't mind going to the bar and placing an order if the bartender/server is not around. The place is very cute and well kept, I love all the decorations and it does feel like an upscale bar without the upscale prices. In the summer, the patio is a great addition. read more

Lots of great things going on at the Nest. It feels a little more upscale while still being a sports bar. Great pierogis and surprisingly good pizza too. I'm a huge fan of the loaded tots, cheese curds, and sweet potato fries as well. They have some of the best garlic aioli I've ever had in a bar, or anywhere else for that matter. Great neighborhood bar and grill! Service is quick and friendly. Food is tasty! Potato and cheese pierogis are really good, the wings are my fav, the cheese curds are good also. I tried the BLT salad for the first time with grilled chicken and blue cheese. Big salad! So many other food items are tasty here! Mixed drinks are ok here, old fashion was very sweet. Had a margarita before and it was very sweet also. I'd stick with a simple mixed drink like vodka soda or beer or seltzer. Parking is street parking. We were coming from a family funeral and needed a place to gather and catch up with family as we celebrated someone's life. They were there to open for us and provide exactly what we needed. Stopped in for Monday night football- The staff is truly amazing the service is amazing. We ordered a couple items off the menu and for bar food it was delicious. We decided to try out The Nest after seeing all of the high reviews on both Yelp & Google - man, were those deceiving! We were going to walk out after all of the employees we saw walking around did not even attempt to seat or welcome us. Right before we were about to walk out, we found a back room and seated ourselves at a table. We weren't even provided a cocktail menu, which you think would be natural at a place with bar in the name. The food was also incredibly mid. I would be willing to bet that the majority of their menu items are frozen (avoid the waffle fries, they taste EXACTLY like what you would get from the freezer section at Jewel). The music was incredibly loud, and as you walk in you'll hear a combination of genres that are just not it. The vibes are all over the place - from the music being played, to the artwork, to the DJ. By the end of our visit, we were EXCITED to be leaving, but unfortunately, it took so long to receive our check, the excitement turned to WE NEED TO GTFO HERE. At the end of the night, we were all saying that any of the classic fast food places would've been a better choice (and probably fresher!). Welp. Nest eatery Nice aaa staff is wRm and welcoming. Light crowd for bears for a bears Sunday. Apparently Wednesdays are a bigger day here. They have 3 large tvs and have the sound on during bears games. The staff was very engaging which is nice some places if the bar is dead will check out. She did not. Tried the potato and cheese perogi it's a total polish bar just having perogi. It's a nice change from the chicken wings and burgers. They were tasty and a good GameDay change.. Overall I will stop back by with some friends. I was referred to the Nest by a friend who had hosted a Baby Shower at the establishment. Walking in, gave me the The Neighborhood Cheers vibe. Its quaint but cute. The back room, however, was very nice and I was very impressed with the rental space. Its well cared for, meticulous and just a beautiful rustic look. So I booked it for an event. The owner is a stand up guy. Helped me with the menu, gave me ideas and just really helped me make the party a success. His team is amazing. Very helpful and polite. The food was absolutely delicious. The burgers are exceptional. If your looking to book a party, I highly recommend this place. read more

My coworkers and I tried this place out and they were very accommodating, considering COVID. The restaurant owner was personable and welcoming the moment we sat down. The employees were knowledgeable of the menu, of what was really good and what was okay. We got their wings with buffalo sauce, which were pretty good. She took it back and when she returned she brought the same one but this time they just threw the chicken on the side. In general the service was bad. This place is okay, but we won't order for dinner again. I placed an order for delivery but after 25 minutes, the expected time suddenly jumped an additional 30 minutes for delivery. Not a big deal, but still a bit inconvenient. Food arrived and I immediately grabbed a crab cake ball, and oh my god was that thing good. I immediately forgave them for the delivery, and expected a great meal. But then it went downhill. The potato and cheese pierogi lacks flavor. It doesn't help that the onions served with it were super burnt. So when I grabbed a few to help add some flavor, I was less than pleased. I've had many pierogis both from restaurants and home made, these were some of the blandest. I found myself craving something sweet to dip them in, which is very unlike me. The steak quesadilla was also flavorless. The steak was clearly not seasoned before being added. There are some onions in it which help break up the bland cheese and steak flavor, but it desperately needs some acid. Normally there would be salsa to dip a quesadilla in but they serve a massive quesadilla with less than a table spoon of pico de gallo that gets tossed through the container during delivery. However, they do give an entire condiment container of sour cream, to add to the blandness I guess. Crab cake bites are a 10/10 Everything else 4/10 Apparently their drinks are good though. So maybe we'll stop in for some crab cake bites and a cocktail. read more

I just found my new " Cheers" bar (For those that don't know what cheers means , it's where everybody knows your name). I had the pleasure in enjoying the blacken chicken salad with a tall glass of beer. Yes, I am that girl that pairs her salad with a beer. It's a beautiful communion , don't knock it. The wood modern country decor created a cozy feeling. Forcing me to prolong my stay. Longer stay, equals more beer. (I am on to you guys). Not only was the food good. Jen, our host was amazing, she was funny, she was genuinely attentive. Her goal was to ensure that we had good time. She was not invasive. She made the experience worthwhile. Thanks Jen!! First time coming to this newly remodeled bar restaurant in the neighborhood. Nice little spot and they also have an additional room that can be used for small parties or group events. The waitress says that their wings are pretty popular and I did see a few tables with them but I was really craving a burger today so I went against her suggestion but I can come back and try them out. I ordered the bacon, fried egg and cheese burger with some freshly cut fries and it was really good. Very meaty, juicy and tasty burger. This was a Sunday so they had our Chicago Bears playing on all the TV's with a good surround sound system. Bears beat the Packers and won the Division so this maybe a lucky spot? The staff was really nice and friendly and place was really clean. The waitress mentioned that they have special too, so may have to check them out again. Plus the large rectangular windows lend spaciousness. The pizza sports a flavorful sauce underneath a lacy cheese coverage (my fave). The sandwiches a solid choice and the apps are tasty. They have decent drink specials, some pretty good. They employ an amazing array of staff. I particularly clicked with the guy bartenders and the cool chick in her late 30s/early 40s. I'm so hoping they all return when this pandemic is over. read more

I've been to the Nest several times since they opened last year, and it's a great addition to the neighborhood. They have a good beer selection and daily food & drink specials. I've had the wings and pierogis and they were very good! The bartenders have always been friendly and attentive. Overall, it's a great place to hang out, grab a drink, and get a bite to eat. Another nice thing about the Nest is that there's a private party room. I reserved it this past weekend for my mom's 60th birthday and I'm glad I did. Thanks to the owner (Jay), manager (Natalia) and the rest of the staff, the party was a complete success. Everyone loved the appetizers and entrees that I ordered. I was able to connect to the sound system and play my own music. We also had our own private bar, and Natalia did a great job bartending for us and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the entire party.
