Came here for breakfast each day, included in our hotel stay. We usually had the eggs Benedict. It was as expected, with a good sauce. If we had to pay for it out of pocket ($29 for the Benedict), I don't think it'd be as worth it and I'd likely go elsewhere as there are so many good brunch places. I appreciated that the blueberries used for the pancakes are sweet and large. But for being included, I was happy with the food. The interior and decor are a bit old fashioned. Service is friendly, a bit slow at times, really fast at other times. Just watch out for that if you're in a rush but for us, it was no problem. read more

Stayed at this Hilton unexpectedly and didn't feel like leaving to get food, so went to Circos for dinner and breakfast. Dinner - service was EXCELLENT but the food was just subpar. Ordered onion soup which came in a very large flat bowl with few onions and even less flavor. Caesar salad that was just ok. The dessert was the best part of the meal - kind of like a trifle. Vanilla cake with custard and berries. Breakfast was better - eggs Benedict that was tasty with spinach and the potatoes were pretty good. But again, great service. Next time I'd venture out to find something nearby for dinner - breakfast I'd stay in. read more

Service was great even after a good crowd showed up. The chicken club sandwich was delicious while the fish tacos were just okay as the sauce made them soggy pretty quickly after being brought to the table. Would still recommend if you're staying in the hotel. read more

Fairly generic hotel lobby bar at the Hilton Garden Inn. Not much to write home about - except for their great happy hour special (weekdays 4 to 7 pm), which featured half off speciality cocktails. There were quite a few options - I opted for the classic Manhattan, which wasn't the best Manhattan I've ever tasted, but for about $7 CAD (~$5 USD), it definitely was the best value! Because the bar itself is so small, the bartender is very quick and attentive. Definitely worth a visit! read more

This was likely the worst meal I've had in a long time. Came here as it was close to where I live and it was POURING outside so needed a quick bite to eat. We sat down (in a completely empty restaurant!) and quickly ordered our food & drinks. It took 20 MINUTES for our drinks to get to the table, and 1 hour for the food, which was BLT sandwiches, spaghetti (which they did not have and replaced with penne), a ceasar salad and a burger. However, my food (a simple !!20$!! panini) was still missing. I waited another 20 minutes to get it and scarfed it down, it was mediocre. Very bad experience, wish I can give Zero Party of 20, food started to arrive after an hour even for Salads Two steaks for my friend and I ordered as medium well, bot got it as raw, the took it to fix and was medium for second time. Excellent food! Friendly staff. We decided to have dinner here at our hotel, after a day of touring. I am so glad we did. The drinks are great, and I can not say enough about the food. This place is located within the Hilton Garden Inn. If it wasn't for location I would have only visited this place once. Front desk tells me the bar is open until midnight but last call is at 11:20pm. Breakfast is served starting at 7 by the looks of it because they are not prepared at 6:30am. Service is extremely slow for any time of regardless of number of guests. I mean bet slow. Food is 4 stars but the price is out of this world. If it wasn't so cold I would be walking somewhere else. I wasn't expecting the food to be good here since it's a hotel restaurant but it was pretty yummy. I loved their salads, cheese platter was great anything left over I took with me for my flight. Wait staff and manager was attentive and friendly. My only disappointment was their breakfast. I was expecting more pastry. I was at the Hilton Garden Inn for training with my employer and was quite disappointed with the food during our lunch break. I ordered steak and fries and was blown away by how low quality the steak was. It was a very thin cut and as well had a weird taste to it (almost tasted off) I then moved on from the steak and decided to just eat fries and asked for gravy, even the gravy tasted quite odd. Eggs to order, pretty good menu, not as elaborate as some Hilton properties, but good quality. Place is a little small, so can get busy, but overall really convenient. I chose this restaurant for the gluten-free options because two of my family members have allergic reactions to gluten. Everything was going great until my sister noticed that her meal had been contaminated with gluten. The restaurant apologized and took away the cost of her meal. Personally I ordered the gluten free salmon and it was delicious. Well cooked and the vegetables and sweet potato purée was delicious. My sisters who are gluten allergic were upset with the few gluten free choices on the menu. I'd recommend to non gluten allergic people. Ambience and atmosphere were good. read more

I worked here for one day with my full efforts. Dine everything that they told me to do. But next day they say they don't require any new workers and kicked me off from the job. The chef told me he will pay me for one day of the job. But when I went there, the manager talked very rudely to me and said me dint pay to the people who are working for one day. But I was calling the chef from 2 weeks and he always said he will pay me, but they didn't. Such a bad experience with them. read more

It is in the lobby of the Hilton Garden Inn. The food is just OK and expensive. On our stay, we ordered the spaghetti which was good. We were traveling with a 13 year old and she ordered the Classic American pizza. She wanted just a cheese pizza. Then she only ate one slice because she didn't like the sauce. I didn't like the minestrone soup because the vegetables were still crunchy. I expect my soup to have cooked vegetables. Eating here saved us a walk. read more

I ordered a vodka martini around 6pm as they had special pricing on house liquor cocktails. What the bartender put in front of me took up roughly 4 cm, about an inch and a half from the bottom of a sharply tapered glass. Unbelievable. The bartender saw my expression and explained that it was 'all vodka' and no ice, but of course it was shaken in ice and diluted prior to pouring. Nothing short of a joke. I've have ordered martinis all over the world, this was by far the smallest I can ever recall seeing. Note to the hotel GM: if you offer drinks at half normal price, do not cut the pour in half. We notice. The other patrons at the bar noticed as well. I had an order of lasagna for dinner, decent but nothing special, a large portion of just ok pasta. The hotel is fine, the restaurant IMO a severe disappointment. Because of the ridiculous martini I was left with an overall negative impression, and would surely not recommend it.
