I specifically called ahead and asked for a stylist who specializes in short haircuts. Instead, I was paired with someone who seemed fresh out of school and specialized in highlights. I showed the stylist multiple inspiration pictures, but the final result looked nothing like them. Don't let the high-end atmosphere or great reviews fool you--they completely ignored my preferences. Not every woman wants long, highlighted hair. Some of us are professionals who prefer short, sharp styles, and we deserve to be paired with stylists who actually have that skill set. I drove home in tears. Save your money and go somewhere that actually listens to clients.

However, every time I go, the atmosphere seems kind of awkward. I get my hair done by Christina and she does a really good job, however, she is not in any way friendly. It seems as if she charges whatever she wants as well. One time I paid $43, another $65, and the most recent $75! She charged me an $10-15 for a different brand of conditioner. That should never happen. Although it is one of the best salons in Champaign-Urbana, make sure you be careful as to who you go see and don't let them overcharge you!

I came in for a simple haircut. All prices listed on their website are incorrect. Expect ~$10 more…read more One of the reasons I came here in the first place was the price. If I knew that, I wouldn't have gone. I was charged for a "full throttle" bundle at $30, which according to their website includes a shampoo, haircut, and style. I was only offered a haircut and when asked about the bundle the "stylist" said that's just a haircut. In addition to the price, stylist did not seem to understand anything I was telling him to do and left me floored that he even thought he was done on several occasions. Attempted to strike up a general conversation twice throughout the process, like most people do, and he was uninterested. Even a chain haircut place I regularly go (nationwide) offers to put product in to help a cut look better at every location, without even asking. I was not offered anything. Advice to help, update your website or take it down altogether. That is where people will be looking for info on the place. Stop lying to your customers about what each bundle includes if you won't provide it even after asking for it. And I'm not sure if it was just this "stylist" but teach them to be a little more customer service oriented.
