Wow, the most detail-oriented plumber I've had so far. He was kind enough to notice that it was a no shoe household and offered to remove his shoes before entering. It probably depends on the type of fix requested, but mine was a clogged bathtub drain. He came during the one hour time window and finished within that timeframe, too.
