The maintenance manager has many years of experience and can actually fix indoor, outdoor, appliances, etc. He doesn't have to go out to a property multiple times to fix things. The staff is responsive to everyone--tenant, owner, vendor, potential tenants and owners. I have had dealings with property management companies that are the complete opposite. I'm surprised those companies are still in business. Dishonest, non responsive, overcharging owners, illegal practices, in lawsuits because many of their staff are not qualified for their positions and do not know the rules and regulations. They send out multiple maintenance techs to a property to fix something and they did not fix it--but the company still charges the owner? Of course a few people will do a review to complain about Parkwood but there are many many happy and satisfied tenants and owners. Way more than a couple disgruntled tenants who most likely didn't read their lease where everything they need to know is written in black and white and signed by them. Parkwood is the BEST choice. 5 stars. 10 out of 10.

I have a property in the area that I managed myself for seven years and transitioned into with NRB. I could not be more pleased with the entire process of working with the team. Randy, Jen, Don and the entire team were excellent in dealing with a difficult tenant at the time. They helped with getting the property ready for the next tenant and I was able to take advantage of their relationships with contractors in the area. All of the work was documented and available on their portal to see what work was completed and how much the services were. I had success in emailing contacts at NRB and then ensuring other people could see that email. This is a busy office, so I recommend that you send emails as there are records of the topic to both parties. NRB is very successful and as a result has a lot of owners and tenants. Every time I engaged on email to NRB, I got a prompt and professional response back from their team. I know a few of the staff are either Veterans or are Military spouses and they are amazing human beings. I am so thankful for their services and ability to help owners manage their properties. I highly recommend using NRB as a property manager.

I never thought I would have to take someone to court, but that's the process I'm in right now. RCW…read more59.18.280 states that the landlord has 21 days from the time the rental agreement ends and the tenant vacates the unit to postmark the return of the deposit or a written statement detailing why portions of the deposit were withheld. If the letter or bill gives estimates of repair costs, but not actual repair costs, your landlord failed to notify you correctly under the law even if your landlord gave you those estimates within 21 days. The court case that says estimates are not good enough is Goodeill v. Madison Real Estate, 191 Wash.App. 88 (2015). So I'm entitled to my entire security deposit and I have yet to receive it. What's worse is that when sharing the law and case information to NRB, the response I got was "This is how we've always done it." Way to tell me that you've been breaking the law for a LONG time. So as a result, all of my friends who are moving to tacoma, I steer them far away from NRB. so why two stars instead of one? Well, while we were there, things seemed fine. They were generally very responsive when we needed them to be, although I wasn't a fan of the occasional need to have inspections done. That was weird and the first time I've encountered it as a renter since college.
