Last summer, we did end up hiring Albert to fix a leak coming from our bathroom. He seemed very…read morenice on the phone and was very responsive into action. He diagnosed the leak to be coming from the shower pan. As a result, we paid him roughly $11k to completely redo the shower and also remove the shower block windows that appeared to be a secondary leak source discovered after. As we were dealing with the issue remotely, he sent plenty of progress photos and cleaned up after the project well. The problem initially seemed fixed. Unfortunately, the identical leak started again within a year, and we scheduled a date for him to check on the shower but he never made it. We rescheduled for another date but he also failed to show up for that and has ignored our messages to remediate the issue. The problem was either misdiagnosed or incorrectly remediated. Either way, we will have to find another contractor to fix what Albert didn't. Two stars rather than one as he was very pleasant and responsive during the initial project.

We've hired Bluffton Electric for two jobs and they were phenomenal with both…read more First, we wanted to switch our outdated light fixtures with LED recessed lighting. They came by, provided a quote that was very competitive with the other quotes we received, and they got us on their books for the next week. The lights are high quality, they were installed quickly, and they cleaned up after themselves extremely well. Additionally, every staff member we spoke to was nice and helpful! Second, we had an electrical issue which required an electrician and Palmetto Electric to come out. The issue left over half of our home without power. I called Bluffton Electric and explained the issue, I let them know that we purchased the needed part (Palmetto Electric told us what we needed to purchase) and they told me they would do their best to help us. The next day which was a Saturday/Valentine's Day they sent out an electrician and communicated to get Palmetto Electric out there at the same time. There was an additional fee, but I felt it was fair and I just appreciated that someone came out. Overall, I feel like Bluffton Electric is professional, reasonably priced, and they provide high quality services.
