One star because the following Monday, when I went to retrieve the necklace, it was missing and not in Lost and Found where it had been placed late Friday. Sometime between Friday and Monday, the necklace took a walk. Thank you Lucy for placing it in the Lost and Found and acknowledging me as the owner and telling me that the necklace had been found. They are to be commended. Brian Vien is the branch manager and offered to check security cameras, now three weeks later still waiting for a status report in writing and/or the return of the necklace. Alas. I usually love the prompt and friendly service at this very busy branch...I'm a longtime client more than 30 years. It's disappointing the security cameras could not help facilitate the return of my necklace. You would think the bank would like to investigate and know definitively what happened to a unique necklace that apparently grew legs. I had to escalate the matter to the regional bank manager, who was hard to find...it's not an easy matter to register a complaint or a compliment online... but being a former newspaper and TV news reporter helped. I hope the bank will take more proactive investigative steps to address a client's request and concerns. And perhaps setup a timeline protocol for the handling/returning of lost items.

I let the teller know what I was here for and lets me know that I need my ID and an account # for the business.... Let's me know he can do only $100 but then i'll need to go over to his coworkers for the others because that's all they can do without the business account # I go over to the teller next to him and once again asks me for the info. And then the two tellers start gossiping and talking and in Chinese then start to chuckle a little bit. Very unprofessional and it doesn't help all their tellers are literally all college kids. They treated me as if I wasn't a customer because I didn't have the business account #. Frank greeted me, very friendly and professional. He understood what needed to be done. He explained the way a maturing CD works...the grace period was 7 calendar days, including holidays days/when the bank is closed/weekends...not business days, which is what I thought. He found a way to allow me to get my new CD, with no penalties. Big thumbs up for Frank. I locked in my rate, and was ready to go, but Frank mentioned a great travel card product providing better flexibility and perks than my Amex. He helped me by placing it into my cart online and I can apply at my own timetable thru the app when I'm ready. Great proactive service, Frank is a great advisor....and he stepped in to serve me even though I was there to deal with my personal not business account.
