I have a few accounts with a couple other banks, including another credit union, but I wanted the ease of being able to transfer money quickly to and from my son and of course it's easier with the same banking institution. We came in, signed in, and waited for our turn. It didn't take long at all, but we have been in at other times and it did take a little while. Opening the new account was quick and painless. In fact, it seemed like it was faster than opening up an account elsewhere. Christianne also educated my son on the app, which is very user friendly. This location has two ATM machines that you can deposit, withdraw, and check your balances from. Beware, sometimes it can be slow to count cash and process when you are making deposits, so just be aware of your surroundings. There is also another ILWU location in Wilmington and they are affiliated with a network of other credit unions throughout the country, if you find yourself elsewhere and need access to your accounts.

If you'd like to waste an hour, on something that should take 15mins, come to TCCU. - No one EVER answers the phone... NEVER. You'll know the answering service reps by first name while you never reach anyone at the TCCU Branch. - If you decide to walk in to the branch, (because they obnoxiously -never- answer the phone) the person you actually need will -never- be available, and "no one else can help you." - If you then ask them to have said person call you back... They may or may not call you back. If they do, you likely won't be available...And then you'll be right back in the cycle of never reaching anyone. - If you want an online portal that doesn't keep record of your account activity/ history, you'll love their crap portal. - I could actually go on and on, but I don't give a sh*t to, anymore... The business checking bonus incentive is being honored by F&M without further incident and the branch is making an effort to accommodate me. Review: I was a previous personal checking account holder and decided to come in for a new business checking account. F&M was running a $500 new business checking bonus offer. Since I never had business products/services from F&M, and wasn't an account holder, I was eligible. The banker I met with to open the account confirmed I qualified and asked for my standard business documentation including articles of incorporation, EIN, etc ... Things appeared to be going well. An hour later I was informed that I couldn't receive the bonus because I was a client of F&M! I explained that this decision was inconsistent with the advertised terms and conditions and I wasn't a client because I didn't have any accounts. I made a last ditch attempt to reason with them but was told I couldn't receive the checking bonus because I would be a signer on the account. The Rolling Hills Estates branch was unwilling to honor their advertised special and unprofessional in their business dealings.

My father passed away last month and this credit union has been everything BUT helpful. They called…read moreme to let me know they would be taking money out of my dads account to pay off his car that was financed through the credit union. Ok I get it, we need to pay it, but they didn't even give me any options whatsoever. In an already stressful time, they took what little money we had available and to top it off, froze his accounts so that we couldn't access any of it for end of life expenses. Then they request documents but when I called to go in and take care of everything (close several accounts and move the money into another account) they let me know that I wouldn't be able to because they only have tellers open and that they'd take copies and have to do everything over the phone or email. Again, I get it we are in covid times but holy hell they aren't willing to work with loyal members of over 15 years!! This is ridiculous. Their service has been horrible and they've been so unhelpful during a difficult time for our family.
