We knew the house would need work but after the thorough and meticulous home inspection that Jason provided we decided not to proceed with that property and boy did we dodge a bullet! I was referred to Jason Agre by my realtor, Jeff Kack. I was assured by Jeff that Jason's work precedes him, and that his fees truly reflect on how thorough his inspections on, and boy, am I glad I went with Jason. He took his time inspecting the nooks and crannies of what would be future home. He took his time in the attic, and found some inconsistencies in the chimney. Jason also advised us to have a sewer specialist come in to conduct their own inspection on the pipes, and I am so GLAD I did. Jason was so great. He's incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly. We are first time home buyers and he specifically recommended we attend the inspection. He was very thorough and took over an hour just on the exterior of a relatively small house. He answered all of our questions and didn't seemed bothered at all whenever we asked what he was looking at. He took the time to explain everything, and was careful to point things out to us that we would have glossed over. He had no problem walking us around the house to address any of our questions. We might have gotten a bit too chatty with him and spent a lot of time discussing options for repairs, and when he could have just said "ok that's our time", he spent an additional hour past our appointment time to wrap up the inspection and answer any remaining questions. We got the inspection report within a few hours and it was so thorough with photos and even links to find plumbers/painters/roofers etc. when he noted repairs might be needed.
