Ouch! I've been getting pedicures and manicures for a long time and on a regular basis. I gave this spa a low rating because I was cut very deeply on my finger and the cuticle of my toe. It happens, but I was not thrilled at her cleaning the area with a dirty paper towel. The sanitation practices along with a messy gel manicure made the decision to not come here again. I had a horrible pedi. The lady cut my toe nails to short and filed them leaning to the side. My cuticles weren't cut back all the way so it made my polish look lumpy. She filed some of my nails so hard that she cut into my pinky finger, kept trying to get me to have my eyebrows threaded even though I have to use pencil to fill them in. Love this spa!!! I come every two weeks and get a pedicure and fill in/ full set. Kim does my pedicure every time and he is very precise. He won't let you out of the chair until you're satisfied!!!! The worst nail salon experience I've ever had. Took THREE hours to remove my acrylics and then get a mani/pedi. Seriously shouldn't take that long; there was hardly anyone in there. The lady just painted nails sooo slow! She did a horrid job, too, and I kept having to tell her to fill in parts she missed, etc. Looking at it afterward, I could have done a better job myself! If that wasn't bad enough, it cost $50! $50 for a crappy mani/pedi? Ridiculous. And it doesn't end there. I had an important job interview and decided to have a mani/pedi before the interview. I asked the gentleman for french tip manicure and when I told him the pink was way too pink he yelled at me. I did not enjoy my experience here. It was not relaxing. I'm sure it differs on the tech you have. I upgraded my pedicure only to have to cut my toe nails and file them when I got home. It stated the pedicure would be approx. 50 minutes, it only took 25. If it's possible, the bottom of my feet were more harsh than when I went it. I have never written a bad review but after going to this salon I was shocked. To start off we walked in and it was empty. There were only 3 employees there, and they were all laying down. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALLON, as I was getting my nails done I over heard this conversation. My mother was trying to translate for a retired elderly who was simply trying to get her nails done for her birthday. This employee yelled at her for asking her to cut her cuticles and told her to shut up. This employee then said that they were "too much" because they were talking to translate. The employee was being disrespectful and was talking on the phone as she did their nails and wasn't paying attention. She also told her that she didn't care that she was retired and said that was her problem. When the elderly asked to get acrylic nails she was being told that they would cost $60. The employee was trying to take advantage of her and her money. She also told me to shut up and that I was talking to much as I was simply trying to help my cousin pick out a nail color. I went in around 1130 and asked for my eyebrows to be done. The woman pointed me into a room without even a hello. Once I laid down she started without even asking how I wanted them done- my eyes were closed and didn't expect her to start without asking how I want them. So, okay I let her finish. When she's done I see zero difference in my eyebrows minus a few hairs. I asked her and she said she was done. Tried to explain to her that it wasn't done right at all and there was hair that still needed to be cleaned up, she insisted she was done.
