I've been coming to this nail salon for the past three years. Even though it's about a 20 minute drive for me, I continued going because I genuinely enjoyed it. I usually only book with Lili, as I've had bad experiences with other staff in the past, so I stick with the one person who consistently does my nails the way I like. One afternoon, I came in with my two children, who were well behaved. As soon as we walked in, the owner looked at my girls and began speaking in another language to his staff. It was obvious there was some kind of issue based on their interactions. He told me to sit down, appeared to argue with the nail tech who was going to work on me, and then said, "Just try your best." Less than a minute later, my daughter accidentally dropped her cheeseburger and became upset. Almost immediately without giving me a chance to address the situation he came up to me and said they could not do my nails with my kids there because they "distract the staff." I felt extremely embarrassed. I calmly said okay and left. While I understand that an upset child can be distracting, they did not give me any opportunity to handle it. My children were eating and sitting quietly with their tablets prior to that moment. What upset me the most is that after being a loyal customer for three years, the one time I brought my kids it became an issue. If this salon is not kid-friendly, that should be clearly stated upfront. The way this situation was handled made me feel very uncomfortable and embarrassed, and unfortunately, I will not be returning. read more

This is a convenient location for me. I have gotten my nails done over the years by them and they do a solid job. There is only 1 nail technician I refuse to get service from but I haven't had any major issues with others. That technician had clearly messed up painting a toe nail and I think she was hoping I didn't notice. When I pointed it out, she clearly was not happy to fix it. I walked in without an appointment at 3:45pm on a Monday and wanted to do dip. The receptionist asked if I had an appointment at which I stated I did not. She then looked at the calendar in front of her and said probably a 3 hour wait, because all these other people made appointments ahead of time and winked and then proceeded to point to the calendar write ins. I just walked out. That personally to me is a very rude way of saying if you don't make an appointment we don't want your business. I have never ever in my life been told a 3 hour wait because I didn't make an appointment.... Absolutely will not be coming back. read more

I always go to Tina and she is amazing! I'm pretty hard on my hands and she's the only nail tech I've ever been to where I have zero issues with lifting, even up to the 4 week point! Highly recommend. Tina gets 5 stars, but the salon itself gets 4 as sometimes there's a bit of a wait even if you have an appointment. I've waited up to 30 minutes before which can be a bit inconvenient if you're busy (and I typically am). read more

Went in since my other nail salon was closed for a acrylic fill. The guy who greeted me was very sweet but my nail stylist wasn't whatsoever. She looked at my nails (I needed a good fill and was overdue) but she looked at the other stylist and started talking about me and how she hates when people wait this long to come in (I travel for work and sometimes can't find the time) so next time your stylist decide to talk about the person sitting in front of them make sure they don't know what your saying. Also, she was extremely and I mean extremely rough with me, didn't use words whatsoever to ask me to move my hands or if she could take a picture of my nails she just grabbed my hand and put the polish she used into it. I would have gladly helped in anyway that she could get a photo. Two days later my nails are chipping and the tip of my pinky nail chipped and one full acrylic broke. Also my gel is peeling. Absolutely love this place! I've been coming here for a year now and they always have great timely service. The owner is very sweet and is extremely attentive. I have always loved my nails after leaving and I've had different employees do my nails every time I've come. I get acrylics and they do a great job at giving me the shape and length I ask for. They also don't do the acrylic too thick which I do not like. It's very thin and looks quite natural. If you're coming in on a weekend, I'd recommend to make an appointment because they do get busy! I usually go here for my nails and have a great experience! They also offer a student discount and usually have appointments available daily. However today I got a girl that I have never had. The service was to remove the acrylic tips i got at this location two weeks prior. It took an hour and she left my nails in shambles!!! In the beginning it was obvious she didn't know what to do, she asked the nail tech how to soak them off then used a paper towel in a bowl?? Ive been getting tips for 3 years now and it has never been removed like this lol. She proceeded to soak then use the drill 3 times then cut the tips off? She then ended up drilling my actual nail down and left them thin and roughly filed. I ended up having to cut them down again myself once i got home. Here is how they look now, you can see how brittle they have been left and i am so upset. The guy uo front noticed it took a while and proceeded to tell me it was because the acrylic was too thick. I was late at work so I arrived late at the nail salon so they accommodated me by doing both my feet and my manicure at the same time. I was shocked that they would even allow this but happy that I could get my nails done because I had to leave out of town the next morning. I have been going to this place for mani /pedi for quite some years. Over the years they have gotten busier and the service has fallen by the way. I made an appointment and the time was given to me by the person answering the phone, but when I went the reception person didn't have a clue. I showed her the time I called the salon. Luckily I waited only briefly. The girl assigned to do the mani/ pedi took only 30 mins to finish both. She cut short most and skipped some steps to my surprise. Just go somewhere else, unless you like being harmed just find another business, my significant other went here two days ago for a simple acrylic removal and the lady did nothing I couldn't have done at home... literally took another nail and used to to break the acrylic off her nails... no soak, no prepping whatsoever, and despite her cries of pain and requests of another method the lady continued to rip her nails off. Pic below is two days later with a layer of hardener over top to hold the nails together and keep from snagging being the nails were literally broken through the middle down to blood. She is a very shy girl and doesn't like confrontation but had I been there I would not have payed. This is a nice clean nail salon and I would consider returning but requesting a different nail tech (hence the four stars and not five). The nail tech I had was male (I didn't not catch his name). But when he was doing my pedicure, he found a small ingrown nail on my toe and started pulling on it. I literally yelled out in pain and asked him to stop. He moved on and a little later, went back and tried to pull it out again! Again, and more sternly, I asked him to stop. He finished my pedicure with my toe now throbbing. My gel manicure was great and lasted almost a month before chipping! If my nails didn't grow so fast, it probably would've lasted a lot longer. I went on a trip to the Caribbean following my pedicure and my toe continued to throb for almost a week on and off. Got red at times near the ingrown that he agitated. Thankfully, i was surrounded my salt water which helped soothe it and probably prevented an infection. Again, i will go back as this place had a lot of good reviews, they were packed, and i think i just need to be more upfront about my comfort level when it comes to surgery on my toes! read more

It wasn't too bad when we arrived. My pedicure was great but it seems as though only specific people are good at doing nails here. I asked for SNS and they seemed confused, but if you don't know how to do SNS, make that clear so a customer won't walk out with messed up nails. The tech doing my nails didn't apply the SNS directly, using regular top coat polish instead of a powder. My SNS powder showed up way darker on my skin than in the tin, started cracking not even a day later, and then the powder on my index fingernail broke off today. We travel quite frequently and at times I have to go to out-of-state nail salons. I have never found anyone who pays attention to detail and perfection as Amanda. If it was possible to give 0 stars I would. I'm never this person and I always try to give people and businesses the benefit of the doubt especially when it's busy. I called at 3pm and made two appointments for 6pm, I was there 5 minutes before my appt and waited an hour after my appt time, I was finally seated but they were seating walk ins before my sister who also had an appt an hour before. The nail tech charged me $5 extra for a basic shape and $15 for a design that i didn't even want. The man that did my sisters nails made her very uncomfortable and kept scoffing at her and rolling his eyes everytime she tried to talked to him. (i saw it) Our nails were done is less than 30 minutes and half the things you're supposed to do during a full set with gel just wasn't done. Really horrible experience. My nails are no where close to what i asked for or the pictures i showed them. Paying $65 for a terrible experience is just not okay. read more

Was in Florida for vacation and after all that time at the beach, my nails were crusty and worn. I needed a pick me up and my friend recommended me to come here. The salon is located in a strip mall and upon entering I noticed that it was quite spacious and clean. They had a tv in the back and a huge collection of polishes and colors to choose from! The sweet lady doing my nails made sure that I was satisfied with the shape and the design as she worked. Last time I went to a nail salon in my area, they were trimming the extra skin around my nails and accidentally nicked me. After that experience, I always get a little nervous when the nail tech whips out the cuticle trimmer. Here, she did a very good job and was careful not to cut too deep which I really appreciate!
