I had been coming to this Acai bowl place since it actually began many years ago. This is the best of the best around the country for sure. The vibe, the layout, the cleanliness, and inside is always perfect for real. Each and every server you have is always wonderful and nice too. Then this bowl I have actually ordered every single time over the years at this place and their other locations too, had been my favorite for real. I basically wish I could just have this for lunch or dinner every single day of my life. I am likely the only person ever that has them not add Nutella but use some honey instead. I may be the only person that doesn't like Nutella since almost everyone loves that flavor. Putting all of them together unsliced that would be like 2 whole strawberries. I really like City Bowls. The only reason I had to give them three stars is because recently, my youngest son found a piece of paper in his bowl. I believe it's paper from where the fruit is wrapped up before it's unwrapped and put into the bowls. They've got to be more careful. I will say that's the only issue I've had at this location. Generally, the food and service are good. I finally was able to try The Grinch Bowl and it was delicious! I'd eat it again! Overall, I like this place. They just have to be more diligent with unwrapping the fruit to make sure paper doesn't end up in a customer's bowl. read more

I've wanted to try a bowl since my son enjoyed a large bowl dripped in a hazelnut sauce in a waiting room as we waited for me to have a medical procedure. It's cruel and unusual procedure to devour fresh fruit, a gelato like base with coconut shavings, granola and chia seeds toppings in front of patients fasting since midnight! He was unfazed as he got ugly looks while he scraped every last drop from the container. I now understand why he has a daily bowl for breakfast! I ordered a small bowl since healthy food isn't my forte. But it doesn't taste like a "Healthy" meal. The fruit was ripe, sweet and diced into spoon sized treats. The facility is clean, bright with pleasant background music. The staff was helpful. I wish there was a unit closer to me. I have no complaints other than the long drive from my home. I love this place but one thing really does bother me. If your operating hours online say open but I drive across town to the store and your are closed- lights on- but closed -that is bad. Online hours state that this place is open until 6 pm on Sunday. It's 430 and you are closed. I get staffing issues but change your hours online. I see the door at the store has no posted hours so I guess this will continue to happen. Lesson learned- call first. read more

Love the bowls but very disappointed with their communication. I specifically waited for 10 minutes outside on a Sunday for them to open at 10am, the posted opening time. After someone finally saw me and came to the door, she notified me that they now open at 11 on Sundays. She said they had been "trying to get the time changed".
