I know, I know, you're probably thinking you've seen enough tough and bitter kale salads in your life so you may not want to take a chance. But take that chance and thank me later. And add on olives. It might have been the peanut dressing, but it's certainly not over-dressed by any means (more like massaged in). It might have been the sweet, chewy dried cranberries (I refuse to say, "craisins.") I also had a mediocre vegan wrap which desperately needed seasoning. I had ordered it with olives and paid extra for the add-on, but they forgot to put them on. You really feel as if you are treating your body well. I had the vegan wrap, and although I don't love tortilla sandwiches, the tortilla was grilled which made it much better than the average wrap. The location is clean and there is outdoor seating. The vibe is healthy quick food. And there's parking! The service was friendly. However, the staff was more than happy to help us and answer our questions. They even let us try some samples of the fresh, daily made pressed juices. I'm used to strong black coffee. I was served a coffee that was tan colored. Again, I was turned off. The server apologized and said she would bring the black, and explained what was in the coffee. Finally tried this place out! It's so hot and I was craving something matcha flavored and Starbucks closed early these days. I saw online the Super Matcha smoothie and that sounded wonderful and refreshing. The smoothie had matcha, blueberries, banana, spinach, chia, agave and almond milk. They were quick- although the guy preparing my food had his mask under his nose but I'm not here to be the mask police. The smoothie was really good- but didn't taste like matcha at all.
