Food first, thoughts after... I visited Seeds for one of my study days and overall a great experience. Spacious seating and delicious food and drink. With earphones in I can study anywhere but when I entered an online meeting my instructor said it was a little loud on my end. Overall a solid study spot with earphones! Plenty of parking spots with ease!

Kept seeing this coffee shop at the farmer's market and wanted to finally try them. I ordered a basic oat milk latte because I was quite unsure what I wanted that day lol and because I didn't really want any food I also didn't want to have 2 sweet treats. The latte was smooth and the art was beautiful as you can see. It got a bit too noisy in there after a while though, but the inside was cozy with multiple tables to sit at plus outdoor seating. I got the pumpkin muffin which wasn't my fav. I will be back to try out more drink though esp iced because the ones everyone kept walking past me with looked so good.

Amazing outdoor working space. Open air, comfortable seating, spacious tabletops. Perfect for working on a beautiful day! I had the honey cinnamon iced latte from the seasonal menu. Loved it! Not overly sweet or milky. Perfect for a mid-morning brew. I also tried the orange cranberry scone. Not the most amazing pastry I've ever had, but certainly did its job. Seeds offers some more fleshed-out breakfast plates, too! You could totally eat a hearty breakfast here with the eggs plates. They sell their own beans and some other home-brewing merchandise. Definitely worth checking out and keeping it local. This place gets busy! The parking lot fills up fast, but there's usualllyyyyy a spot to be found. There are a ton of employees!! And they're needed! The entire time I was there, there was somebody at the counter ordering. Most all of the tables were full on a Tuesday. There is a co-working space next door so I wonder if some of that overflow leaks into Seeds. This section of Homewood is developing into a wonderful community! The new entertainment district across the street, The Edge, is worth checking out too.

Wonderful as always! This place is always busy it seems and packed with everyone from families to students to business professionals. Their coffee is some of my absolute favorite in Birmingham and I love the additions they have to their food menu from Birmingham Breadworks.

Great menu, delicious coffee. They definitely know what they're doing. Lots of seats to camp out for studying or just hang out. I wish they provided better hours - closing at 3 mon-sat makes it really hard to visit when you have work during the day. 4 stars because of limited hours and I asked for light ice so barista made my latte like half full.

The coffee here is great! You can find just about anything here- hot or cold. They also have a full breakfast menu. I came here on a Saturday morning before work. The line was out the door, but it gave me plenty of time to figure out what I wanted to order. I got the iced vanilla latte. It was so delicious! I highly recommend Seeds!

First time at Seeds and it seems to be a popular place in Homewood! The parking lot was packed and lots of people sitting inside and outside. There is plenty of space to fit everyone. I got a vanilla latte which wasn't bad but not anything crazy. I was hoping they would have more flavored syrup options to pick from. There was a line but it moved and they got my order out fast.

The iced lavender citrus latte was great-- subtly sweet and floral but not overpowering. The to-go plastic cup lids seemed to leak with every sip (same for my wife's iced latte as well). I took the lid off, cleaned and reapplied, but still leaked. The drinks were great, though and we appreciated the fast service!

The coffee shop itself was super cute with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, which was really nice! It's definitely a popular spot. I got a caramel latte and it was pretty good, and the service was great too :)

Great food and great service! Waited maybe 2/3 minutes to order, food and coffee came out fast. Loved my lavender latte, nice balance of citrus (I was a little worried.) Also got a HUGE biscuit sandwich, and I mean HUGE, with a runny egg. My friend got a burrito and she said it smelled funny? but tasted good. So, just be aware of that if you're sensitive to smells.

Next up on my coffee shop bucket list.... SEEDS!!! I came here kinda midday after my lash appointment. Still relatively crowded but seats available. I sat by a window and took in the ambiance. It was peaceful. I placed my order at the counter with a nice lady. I couldn't resist not getting that beautiful chocolate chip cookie that was on display. It's like this cookie was smiling at me and only ME!!! Needless to say, the cookie was amazing and went VERY well with my drink. The Cortado here did not disappoint! It was soooooo delicious, pretty and my fav thus far! I really enjoyed it!!!! I highly recommend! I don't love the parking situation here. The parking lot is just weird to me but it's doable.

Beautiful drinks but left much to be desired. I really don't know why but Seeds is the one place that doesn't hit my iced coffee/iced drink fix. They're always so meh. We were excited for the blackberry flavored seasonal drinks but you could barely taste any blackberry in either. The matcha was of the better I've had around but still not great. The latte was forgettable. Staff was very sweet and patient with us as we asked questions regarding different drinks. The outside area is cute as always and nice to spend an afternoon at.

Seeds has such a chill vibe...I love it! You can pull up a chair inside or kickback outside at one of the tables or benches, which is my fav. I'm a tea girly, so I appreciate the different seasonal options they have available and enjoyed the green peach tea during this visit. They have WiFi signs sprinkled all around, which is convenient for remote workers. I'm also a fan of the outdoor outlets because their patio is my happy place there. Blue is one of my fav colors so the decor is bomb to me. Then, to my surprise, a food truk pulled up! So I settled right on in for lunch as well. Whether you're grabbing a morning brew, polishing off a new novel, or working through your task list for the day, Seeds has a setup you'd enjoy.

What sort of food items are offered here? We'll be in town for one morning and I'm looking for great coffee (sounds like Seeds fits the bill) AND somewhat substantial breakfast options? Anything healthy besides just baked goods?

Seeds has expanded their kitchen and now has a pretty great breakfast menu now with lots of different options.

Are you guys ever open ?? Can you let me know what your times are ? I went here last Friday and Saturday -both times closed and you're closed sundays. I tried calling today and no answer.. is this place closing down?

I tried the iced Aden latte (espresso, milk, pistachio and lavender) and it's the best coffee off of lakeshore. None of the flavors were overpowering the others. I also ordered a biscoff crepe and a sabaya. The sabaya was flaky and crispy, smothered in delicious honey. It wasn't the thickest sabaya but I enjoyed it! The biscoff crepe was so decadent. Do check out those seasonal lattes (I mean, for February, a cherry blossom latte? Say less). My favorite is on the regular menu, a salted rosemary latte and it's literally perfect. Nestled in the Mountain Brook area, it's a little hard to see but is right next to Chez Lulu, which I think is a sister restaurant. Parking is a little tricky but manageable. I got there fairly late so the selection was a bit picked over, but I still got a good array of treats to bring home. Service was a touch slow but friendly. They were fairly busy. There's no room to eat inside or outside that I could discern; it's exclusively a take and go type of place. I got two pecan sandies to share with my parents, who were along for the ride, and then a cardamom bun and a peanut butter cookie for later. Sadly, I don't feel like any of the pastries really wowed. The pecan sandies were a little too dry (even as sandies go) and the pecans didn't taste toasted nor were they especially plentiful. The peanut butter cookie was the best thing, though it too was a little on the dry side - nice PB flavor though. I straight up didn't like the cardamom bun. The cardamom flavor was completely overwhelming, to the point it wasn't sweet at all, and instead tasted almost medicinal. The texture was nice but I couldn't finish it. Perhaps I arrived too late to order their specialties. I know they specialize in European goodies so if I return I'll make sure to try a croissant or something similar.

There was just one full table of about eight people and then two other tables which weren't close to us so they ended up putting an extra table in so we could all sit together. Since it was a Saturday morning, it was pretty busy. Parking is a bit cumbersome. I pretty much had to make my own spot so that was a bit frustrating. I don't think I saw any handicap spots.
