I love how the work outs are small groups with really awesome coaches, every single coach has been so helpful with form, offering alternative movements if needed, giving helpful feedback while also encouraging you to lift heavier and push harder and I feel like every coach truly wants you to be the healthiest strongest person you can be! All the coaches and the owner Jake are so friendly and make the work out classes fun but challenging. They are all so knowledgeable about nutrition and fitness, they're all so amazing and so great at helping to keep you motivated! All the other members are so encouraging too, it really makes a difference when the other people doing the work out with you and pushing themselves just as hard if not harder and are super friendly while encouraging you to push yourself too. I've had such an awesome experience at this gym unlike any other gym I've attended. The community this gym has created is truly one of a kind! My only regret is not finding them sooner! I really love the structure of the work outs with the hour classes having portions for strength training and portions endurance training. I personally really enough being able to focus on trying to lift heavy and really work certain muscle groups and then finishing the work out off with another portion to really get your heart rate going. The nutrition plan I started with the 6 week program was really well thought out and all the food was tasty, nothing was bland or boring. Every meal I felt full and wasn't craving more food. I also made some new recipes that I really love and still make for myself from it! I highly recommend this gym, every work out and check in meeting with Jake throughout the 6 week program have all been so positive, encouraging, inspiring, motivating and honestly really fun!!

Unlike some other gyms, you can tell the trainers sincerely care about you as a person and helping you attain your fitness goals. They also have 6 week challenges, personal training and Jurassic Snacks onsite for some tasty post-workout treats. Although this type of bootcamp style workout (burpees, mountain climbers, flipping huge tires,etc) does not appeal to me, it motivated me to get back on track with exercise I do enjoy. Highly recommend lab Athletics for those looking for a grueling workout and fantastic, professional and motivating and experienced trainers.

I had done CrossFit in my late 20's/early 30's then took a break and did other types of exercise (running, hot yoga, traditional gym, Carolyn Gilvan YouTube workout programs)... 10 years and 2 kids later I was starting to feel old and out of shape at 41. I had a ski injury and my PT recommended CrossFit at another local gym. I visited that gym, felt super intimidated and did not join. A few years later a friend invited me to CrossFit X and from day 1 I felt so welcomed. For the first few months I did Cam Hashemi's classes only. He is an awesome coach!! And helped me get through the difficult stage of getting back to it. Now I am feeling stronger, happier, I have more energy, and my home life is improved. Yes, I have lost some weight (7lbs), but mostly I look and feel better. My husband was so inspired, he also joined. And our kids age 3 and 6) sometimes accompany us. One of the best parts of moving back to the Ham was discovering a brand new Club Pilates in town! I…read moretook their free introductory class and was hooked. I had never done Pilates before, but had always been intrigued. The 1/2 hour intro class was a fun way to check out the space, spend some quality time on the Reformer, and decide that I wanted to try this more! Fast forward a month, and I'm about to take my 10th class. My body already feels better - not just stronger, but more limber, a little more balanced, and generally just better after a busy-but-sluggish winter. A great bonus has been the "me" time for some mental clarity and general de-stressing. So far I've taken the CP Reformer 1 and Center & Balance classes, but hope to try some other classes as I become more experienced and comfortable with the equipment and techniques. The instructors are each a little different, and it's been fun getting to know their individual styles. My only issue is that their app (which is tied to the bigger CP brand, not necessarily to the Bham studio) is clunky at times. Twice now, it's shown that I have class credits available, but I've been unable to book without calling. The good news is, they are always friendly and helpful when I call. :) Looking forward to what the future holds as I continue my Pilates journey!

But they kept trying to charge my card. That's when I discovered I signed up for three months. It was my fault for not reading it but it was presented to me as a waiver. Now they are going to try to charge me 100$ just to not go back there. The way they had me do a free class and not properly explain anything was very predatory. Why would i pay them for a service I do not want.

Finding Patti was a dream come true. She is very present to every different exercise. She changes things up so you get a good rounded workout based on your abilities and your goals. She is very patient and encouraging and she has a kind caring personality. If you want someone who will grind you into the dirt, she might not be the one for you. But if you want someone who really cares and someone who is careful you don't get injured but encourages you to do more than you would on your own, you should give her a try.
