Do not recommend. Not only will they sell your furniture order to someone else with a delivery date sooner than yours, but none of their automated systems "speak" to each other. So after receiving an automated call that my dining room table would be delivered today, I took the day off work - because when you check online status, it will only tell you schedule for that delivery day - only to find out, whoops, no table. Our purchases at City Furniture were an unmitigated disaster. More than half the pieces were delivered seriously damaged. The colors are nowhere near what was displayed in the showroom. One king size bed is assembled out of three components; the headboard, the side rails, and the foot board. Each component is a different color. There is a huge gash in the foot board visible from 20 feet away. The entertainment unit has a 6 inch x 1 inch crack. You can see that from anywhere in the living room. The stitching on the sofa is unraveled. The two nightstands do not match each other or the bed. Huge pieces of paint are peeling off. These are just some of the problems. This is not after any wear and tear. This is the way it was delivered! Deliveries were promised and even confirmed the night before. We had to drive 90 minutes to where the furniture was to be delivered. On multiple occasions the delivery truck never arrived. They promise their Customer Service Department will resolve any problems. I have spent over six hours waiting on hold for someone in that department to answer the phone. The one time I did get someone, they said I had to call another department. That department never answered the phone either. I wrote them twice by certified mail. I never received any response. I purchased a living room and patio set from this company. Several issues with quality. Most importantly a fire table for my patio which has not worked since day one. They are being so difficult to communicate with and they are seemingly trying to avoid fixing the problems in hopes that it will just go away. Not happening. Protip: their delivery drivers get paid on what they actually deliver. If something is not right or does not work DO NOT ACCEPT IT. The drivers will lie to you and say they will send someone out to fix it or address the issue just so they get their paycheck. I am updating this review after the social media team reached out to me. The gentleman truly listened to my issue and gripe with the way everything was handled. It's too bad he didn't answer the phone in the first place!! The customer care department still needs some help in the customer service area. However, he listened, followed up on taped conversations, gave me a gift card for $100. This is very nice and was NOT my intention - I really would have been happy to purchase my dresser and have it safely delivered. Period. I also received an unexpected gift in the mail. I can't believe this store even exists in the age of Amazon, Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware. We bought a chandelier and it is CROOKED! We said it looked odd installed and then put a level on all sides of it on a flat surface- It is completely defective. We picked it up yesterday- I called the store and got disconnected- now it is after hours because we had to take it down after we PAID a professional to come and install it- Now we don't even know if they'll give us our money back. It's past their 1 day return policy- they have a 1 day return policy which is INSANE- especially if you can't get a hold of anyone AND your item is defective. Not damaged- completely defective. I. AM. LIVID. UPDATE: We called City Furniture and they are giving us store credit- which, at this point we will take. They said because it's within a 3 day window. So for SURE ask about their return policy and if you are comfortable with that. However, we did have a problem with a Table that was recently delivered in the box. When I opened the box to assemble it, we saw how large the glass top actually was & realized it was much to large & would not fit in the space we needed it for. We acknowledged it was our error in the initial measurements, but we thought since it was a table that has not been assembled yet & was still in the box that we would be able to exchange it for a smaller table that would fit. I called our sales rep Marco & explained the situation. He called customer service while I was on the line & they told him there is nothing they can do, that there are no refunds or exchanges. He then told me to call customer service directly. I then called customer service & was on hold waiting to speak to a customer service rep for over 50 minutes, before I selected option for a call back. I eventually received a call back from Ashante & I explained the situation & asked if they could please make an exception to their return policy & let us exchange it for another table that will fit her space. We did not want a refund, just a credit. I also told her the Table has not been assembled & is in the box & that I would personally deliver it to the Ocoee Store if they would allow us to exchange it. She informed me there would be a 15% restocking fee & that we would need to use the full credit amount, that no money left over would be refunded. I said that was fine. She then sent the request to her manager. I really thought they were going to allow it to happen, but when Ashante called me back an hour later she said her manager said NO, they would not let us exchange it for anything else! Save yourself the trouble and go to Ashley Furniture!!! My husband, 2 year old son and I went to City on July 13th. Their furniture is beautiful and I easily feel in love with some of the pieces. Brandon F. was super nice and helpful. We walked out purchasing a desk, file cabinet, coffee table, end table, and a three piece entertainment center (all with premium delivery). We were told the entertainment center was on backorder so with pushed the delivery out until August 10th to ensure we would receive all our pieces. Well August 10th rolled around and I was so excited to receive our much anticipated furniture. Everything was fine at first until we realized the middle piece (tv stand) of our entertainment center was not there. We were informed that piece was still on backorder. We signed for the delivery, they went on their way and we called customer service to see about our missing TV stand. They told us they would call when the piece was in stock to schedule a delivery. On August 17th we called them because we wanted to see what was going on and was informed that the piece was in stock so we schedule a delivery for August 24th. The 24th rolls around and right in the middle of our delivery window we get a call saying the piece is badly damaged and we will have to schedule another delivery. So we choose August 26th. August 26th rolls around, we get a call saying the drivers are running two hours behind (our delivery window was between 3pm and 6:30pm) they asked us if we wanted to reschedule. We said no because we just wanted our furniture, they said ok we will see you soon. At 7:30pm we get a call, they can't deliver our TV stand because they are missing hardware and we need to call customer service to schedule another delivery! As you can imagine I am super upset and frustrated!! We get on the phone, we talked a guy who agreed this is unacceptable. We schedule yet another delivery for today August 30th. This morning just before 8am my husband gets a call the TV stand is badly damaged and cannot be delivered!!!! The saint he is rescheduled for Sept 1st. At this point I am livid! I called customer service back and asked to cancel the delivery my husband set up, have someone come pick up the other two pieces of the entertainment center because I am never going to find a matching piece and refund me the money for those three pieces. Mary tells me they can cancel the delivery on Sept 1st but I can't receive a refund! I ended up talking to a manager named Kenneth. I was literally in tears at this point, asking how this can happen. I asked him why they can't just put another one that's not damaged on the truck to send to me. Kenneth told me the piece was actually on BACKORDER so they had nothing to replace the broken one with. He was so snotty and rude the entire phone call. He told me they put in a note saying I wanted a refund but the sales guy was the only person who can approve the refund and set up a pick up date. You have been warned. If you buy furniture with this company at the Ocoee location, if you have a salesperson with a name that begins with P, do not listen to her when she tells you to ignore emails that you receive from City Furniture to set up your delivery. She told me that so I listened to her. As a result, part of my ordered was released bc she failed to hold it for me while the other pieces came in. Needless to say, it cost me an extra month waiting for my sofa. I can be patient, that is not the problem. The problem is that when I finally realized what was going on, she denied that there had been any wrong doing on their part even though I had two separate emails to prove her wrong (the emails she told me to ignore). So they kept giving away my pieces of furniture as they came in bc I wasn't calling and claiming them, which she said she was going to do for me. my word of advice if your furniture is on back order: do NOT ignore the emails you get. Instead, call the corporate number and get them to hold the furniture for you if you have multiple pieces come in at different times. It would have saved me a month of sitting in the floor since I could have had my furniture in mid- September but because I listened to her, it's not coming until mid-October. And sadly, had I not consistently contacted her, I am not sure that any of the pieces would have been held for me to get it by mid-October. Maybe this is what they tell the salespeople to say at this store. However, doing so requires them to stay on top of the delivery or else you have to do it on your own. I ordered an L shaped desk for my office which was scheduled to be delivered today. Last night I was informed delivery would be between 11 am and 2 pm. This morning I was informed a few pieces of my desk weren't in stock. I disconnected PC, printer, etc and moved all existing furniture out last night because no one had the wherewithal to inform me. I'm leaving only 1 star because I cannot leave 0. I will also be leaving this horrible review on all social media platforms. I ordered the Indio Light Tone Hanging Chair on the 24th of November. It arrived on the 26 of November. When the delivery man dropped off the order it was only for one piece of the chair. When I asked him for the other parts he went on to tell me I only purchased one piece of the chair. I knew that inaccurate so I proceeded with calling customer service to figure out what was going on with my order. They were no help at all, and had me on hold for at least 30 minutes, all to just transfer me to the store! The lady in the store provided me with the worst customer service I've ever had in my life. After asking her few questions about my order she had the nerve to tell me that I was being rude! I asked her for her name and to be transferred to someone else, she just transferred me without giving me her name. I was then transferred to a manager who explained why some of the parts for my chair were missing. She explained that the salesman Tyronn had made a mistake and put the order in for just one part of the chair and only charged me for just that one part. She then went on the tell me that if I wanted the other parts I would have to pay an additional $100 for it! I think that everyone can agree that if you're asking your salesman how much a chair is and he quotes you with a price then it is safe to believe that he is quoting you for the whole chair and not just some parts of the chair. He should've at least notified me that some items are sold separately. The chair on the website is sold as one, and it's not even an option to buy the pieces separately. I told the manager that it is ridiculous for her to try to charge me additional when it was their fault they quoted me incorrectly. I decided to go the the actual showroom and talk to someone more helpful. Jay the General Manger helped us out and said he will be shipping the missing parts free of charge to us, which was the right thing to do. After realizing that I would not be be home to receive the package I called the customer service to have them change the delivery to an in store pick up. When I went to pick it up at the store I was told that my order was sent to the wrong store and wouldn't be available till the end of the week. I went back inside the store to speak with Shequilla who apologized and guaranteed that she will have it to us the following day. The folllowing day we receive a call from Jay the General Manger that there mas a mistake and he won't be able to have it sent out until the next day. The chair piece finally arrives the next day and was set up by the two delivery guys. One of the guys pointed out that the chair has some damage to it and SOME GLUE CAN FIX IT!!!!! That was their solution.... to put glue on a $400 chair!!!! He took some pictures of the damage and left. I then decided to call customer service about the issue and was was on hold for 40 minutes.... at this point I was so frustrated and decided to hang up and make another trip to City Furniture (my 5 trip to the store just to get things sorted)! When I arrived to the store I explained the situation to Kelly one of the mangers working. She told us we can have the chair exchanged but it wouldn't arrive till February! Mind you we are in December! That definitely was not an option for us. Then we were offered to keep the $400 damaged chair in exchange $40 gift card or receive 20% of our money back. Both of these options were not cutting for us. Kelley then offered us to pick out something else in the store that we liked, but there really wasn't anything in the store that caught our eye like the chair we purchased and we really didn't feel like we should settle for something less than what we wanted all because City Furniture couldn't hold up to their standards. There really wasn't any options left for us until Kelley made the impossible happen. She really went above and beyond to make sure we walked out satisfied. She was the only positive thing that happened with our experience. Overall I will no be shopping with City Furniture, even though the situation was turned around in the end it wasn't worth the hassle. To anyone thinking about purchasing for this company please DON'T DO IT! TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE!! I promise you it's not worth the stress. Once your business is earned the employees don't care about you. I bought a sofa sectional set, a kitchen table set and a bed frame from city. Get it delivered days later and 2 chairs are broken and the sofa is ripped. It happens no big deal, call and get an exchanged processed and a few days later another delivery of furniture comes. Sofa is even more broken now than it was in the first place. Only one chair is brought to be exchanged, the other chair was on back order and I was never told about it. Go to the show room in Ocoee because this is ridiculous at this point that a sofa this broken can be delivered to a customers home, and I will now be on my THIRD delivery from city. I speak to John Bolton who we bought the furniture from and he was like talking to a wall. Worst costumer service ever. If you decide despite the terrible reviews to still shop there please run away from him. If you don't spend the $200 for shipping they don't care about furniture being delivered damaged. This location has the most annoying sales staff. They are constantly hovering over you and trying to up-sale you on every item. The shipping and installation service is absolutely horrendous as well. They will have 1 day available for delivery that is weeks away, give you a 5-hour window of when they show up, not even guaranteeing being on time in that window, and then call you the day of delivery to tell you that there has been issues with the delivery and you need to reschedule. We went to City Furniture Grand Opening and specifically told the sales person that we bought a brand new tv that was 65 inch and we wanted to update our entertainment wall and furniture in the family room. We looked at two units and I measured one of the units the tv was sitting on the entertainment wall and it was 65 inches. The salesperson told me and my wife that all the entertainment walls have 65 inch televisions. Well we bought a different unit than what I measured trusting the salesperson and it was delivered yesterday. The couch has a stain on it and one of the doors on the entertainment wall was not put together correctly in the factory. My wife discovered the couch pieces were not assembled right but was an easy fix. My wife and I attempted to put the television on the wall and discovered that the tv was about 3 inches too tall to fit. My wife and I had to make a decision to return the furniture or return the tv. My wife did love the furniture and probably be more difficult to return since the delivery crew already was gone. We attempted to take down the tv and rebox it and then discovered tv will not fit in my SUV. So instead of going through another headache of trying to find a way to return the tv....I went to Best Buy and bought a second tv that is 55 inches....It fits perfectly.....My wife called yesterday and waiting for repair follow up for the items that need fix. My experience with City Furniture was awful. They messed up my entire order, all the screws were missing, bed slats as well, desk top and mirror came damaged. While the manager was nice and tried to solve everything, the whole thing was so messed up he just couldn't. We went there about 3-4 times to try to get an exchange, there always seemed to have been a problem. Today I thought we'd t everything fixed, however, the desk top they tried to exchange for the damaged one was also broken, if I hadn't made them open it before we left, they would not exchange it again. The staff was friendly and inviting, accommodating and informational. Even when it came to people inside of the actual warehouse, they were very friendly simply walking on by and one guy named Chris S. In particular gave me some great pointers on how to shop for my home.He knew exactly what I was looking for. Their furniture selection is phenomenal and I even found a dresser that matched my current bedroom set. I was also very pleased with how quick the delivery and set up crew put together my dresser when they arrived, on-time, inside of my apartment. Also! The store was incredibly clean with an awesome cafe to sit and chill at while the rest of the family shops. You've got to come on over if you want some beautiful furniture to add to your home. So here's the deal... I don't like to give negative reviews. I understand that we are all flawed humans and so I am more forgiving than most. I also understand negative reviews affect employees who don't make the rules. I take this very seriously. Sadly, our experience with City Furniture has been awful from start to now end. We purchased $3000 worth of items. Our entry table was broken. Instead of them trying to help and resolve the issue they were combative and didn't agree that it was broken -- even though the drawer would not shut, a screw was sticking out the side and a piece was completely missing. After going round and round with them and didn't care to even try to resolve the issue we decided to be done and return everything including our pending items. 2 weeks later still no refund. Get back in touch with Customer Service to learn they didn't cancel the remaining items and they were about to be delivered. Would have cost us another $200 restocking fee. They play games and everyone is scared to cancel an order. Meet with Kelly Reardon, offered Free Premium delivery plus a follow up by our Sales person with a store credit of $100.00. Kelly Generated a new invoice reflecting the premium delivery. Had to wait 2 additional days, after 2 25 minutes drive down and 3 calls. All for 2 Table Top chairs. Still no follow up from Kelly or Carolina about the store credit. Delivery was a week ago. I ordered table and chairs in November and when they delivered my order they said the chairs were back ordered. I showed delivery guy my email that said order was complete and to be delivered, he could care less and asked if I still want table. Next week setup another delivery for complete order and same thing happens but this time they say chairs back ordered until January 30th. Love this new store!! Spacious, variety of items!! Customer service is great!! Went one day to look around, meet Tyrone who was not pushy, was around to answer questions but did not make us feel uncomfortable or pressured to buy anything! When we decided to buy, we made sure we spoke to Tyrone, who took care of us and didn't make us feel like we had to but more than we wanted at this time!!! I love this store! It's huge and has a variety of styles. I'm currently into the whole farmhouse feel and love the fact they carry the Magnolia line. I recently purchased the kitchen island and absolutely love it! The order process was simple and easy and it was delivered within a few days. The delivery team that set it up was very professional and clean. I also ordered a sofa. The sales person was very helpful in helping me find the sofa I wanted based on a picture I showed him. Delivery of my items was terribly mishandled. First they said to pick it up, it wasn't there. Than it would be delivered. It wasn't. Just wanted to write this review about my experience. Given that it is Covid-19, I expected a long delay. However, they handled delivery unprofessionally. After a long wait, they told me one of my items was only a pick up status not delivery. Ok, I went to the warehouse and waited quite some time. The workers and managers were very nice and apologetic. The manage even said he would deliver it himself the next day because they couldn't give it to me that day. The same manager calls me the next day to say that he couldn't load it to his small car that I would have to come back and pick it up. No problem, told him I couldn't come till Sunday or Monday depending on my job. He said ok, that he would hold it for me. I go to pick it up Monday, the table was canceled and given to someone else. Now, I'm starting to get upset. They said sorry and would give me small discount for my trouble. They would now deliver the item. So they of course tell me its going to take a few more weeks. Fine, and agreed. Marie, my sales associate who was extremely nice, called me that there is a further delay on the shipment. Again, I was upset but fine I will wait. Two days ago another sales associate calls to confirm my delivery for today Friday 9/18 and that someone will contact me Thursday to give a window for delivery Friday. No call or text was sent. So I changed my schedule to have the whole day available to receive my deliver. I call this morning to find out what time they will be arriving. The customer sales associate informs me that it is not on the work order for today. And the weekend deliver is all booked. That there was a glitch in the system. Manager states picking it up maybe the faster option. I am exhausted and worn out by this company. Buyer be ready to have problems. I am not the only one. read more

DON'T BUY FROM HERE. If you want to save yourself time, money, and frustration, buy furniture from anywhere else on the planet except this place. I ordered a bedroom set (headboard, dresser, mirror, and chest). When the delivery men came, I noticed them outside messing with the headboard for quite some time. I went out and asked what was going on they explained the headboard was up against another piece of furniture and broke on the truck. I decided to keep it in hopes it could be repaired. When the repair man came out, he said it could not be repaired. The dresser was also missing from the order and nobody seemed to know why. The chest I knew was on backorder until 8/30 (per the website). Every time I called customer service (3x) I got different answers on when the headboard and dressers would be available. Today, I spoke with a customer service supervisor that told me the headboard and 1 of the dressers is discontinued and the other dresser wouldn't be available until December. To make matters worse, she didn't seem like she cared. At all. HORRIBLE experience. read more
