I was thrilled that I could order online (rather than have to explain to someone what I was looking for) - I ordered my friend white roses in a crate (which looked great on the site). And, honestly, the price wasn't too bad, especially considering how much a crappy bouquet can cost on other websites. Also, they don't have exorbitant shipping and handling fees - delivery is free for most of Manhattan! I ordered weeks in advance and was concerned that the order might get lost. On the day the flowers were supposed to arrive, I called the florist just to confirm that they arrived. Spruce said they had an issue delivering the flowers because she doesn't live at a doorman building. Sad, but I understand that they want to make sure that she is there, though I didn't want to ruin the surprise.
