A massive warehouse full of unique furniture finds at great prices! The selection is eclectic and the staff is helpful, though the sheer size can be overwhelming. Perfect for treasure hunters looking for character-filled pieces on a budget.

Across the street, nice place and plenty of selection.

Great place to find a little of everything. Would definitely recommend trying this place out.

My sister and I needed furniture for our mother's assisted living studio unit. We were so impressed with the 5 wonderful people who helped us! Even the owner Pam spent time talking and sharing stories with us and helping us decide what to get. What a wonderful human she is. She genuinely cares about people. Julie was super helpful as well as was Nichole. They have a huge selection with very fair prices. We ended up buying a mattress, love seat, occasional chair, recliner and 2 end tables. We thought we were in for a lot of shopping, but they had everything we needed to make our mother's new home beautiful and comfortable. Thanks again, Pam and staff. You were all truly a blessing to us! You get 5 stars!

Imagine a tornado ripping through a large midwestern town, sucking up a swirling cloud of home décor items, growing ever larger with every home it destroys, adding more and more unique and eclectic items to its inclement inventory with every passing moment. Now imagine all of those items are undamaged, don't suck, and are deposited gently, gingerly, in a casually haphazard arrangement scattered throughout a staggeringly large, multi-level warehouse in an otherwise dilapidated neighborhood. That's what City Liquidators is like: a seven layer burrito of modern, antique, kitschy, artsy, collectible, functional and bourgeoisie, compacted together into a sprawling labyrinth where treasures lie, awaiting discovery, around every corner. First-hand, second-hand, and likely underhanded goods, arranged into Ikea-esque exhibits that could accurately be described as "organized chaos", command prices ranging from reasonable to a king's ransom for things you want, but don't necessarily need. Sure, there are plenty of useful household items that you'd find at any big box department store like Fred Meyer or Walmart, but you didn't come here for the mundane: you came for the mystery - the prize behind door number three! City Liquidators is a lot like the Matrix: no one can be told what it's like...you have to see it for yourself. Be warned, an expedition into the bowels of this boundless beast will occupy the better part of your afternoon, and you will be mostly left to your own devices when exploring its reaches: helpful employees are few and far between.

This store is awesome! If you're looking for that piece of furniture but don't want to spend too much, this is the place to come. My daughter is looking to create a hangout zone in and we wandered into this cavernous store to see all the delights. Couches, tables, decor, kitchen items. It's fun just wandering around to see what you'll see. They provide furniture delivery for a fee, about the same as other stores. What you won't see at other stores, a wall of mounted deer heads. I like the quirkiness of the place. We will be back to probably get a few pieces there.

Walking around this store is like being in a scene from Moulin Rouge, it's visually stimulating and sensory overload, so much to see, so many distractions, so many "wtf" is that? Like a train wreck, you can't stop looking. You continue to take it all in, wandering up and down overcrowded, unorganized aisles. Lookin up, down, looking around. So many random items mixed in with basics and everywhere, something so unique and somehow, you have to have it. Best to take your time, do a loop, then change direction and take another loop around. Going in a different direction you I'll see different things. Trust me on this. A lot of items are completely over the top for your home, but if you owned a restaurant, having a small 2 seater plane hanging from the ceiling would work! There seems to be a love for taxidermy with deer, bear, cougar, rams, birds and even a grizzly stopping you in your tracks. They have lots of office furniture and chairs. Plus lots of plastic chairs for kitchen tables in every color of the rainbow. If you need replacement cushions For your outdoor furniture, there are lots of beautiful prints to choose from. There is a wall of neon signs and another wall filled with so many unique mirrors of different styles, something for everyone's taste. And if you need kitchen gadgets, small appliances, glasses, dishes, serving trays, storage containers, vases, candles, disposable party ware, napkins - it's all there. This is a Dollar Store meets Odd Lots meets Consignment Store converging in a huge warehouse where items are covered in dust, some housed there for years while other inventory being added constantly. Prices have gone up over the years, but it's still bargain prices. Yesterday I wandered in looking for white rectangular serving dishes. They have an entire aisle overstuffed with white dinner and serving pieces of every size, shape and style. While there, I made my way around, getting lost in areas and finding 3 unique pieces that I so wish I had space for in my condo. - I immediately fell in love with a modern acrylic ladder shelf that was both beautiful and functional. Still trying to see if I can rearrange something to make room for this unique piece. - Then I encountered an acrylic half moon shaped bar with chrome hardware. OMG, it stopped me in my tracks! It would serve a great function, while visually taking up little space. I'm still dreaming about it! - Near the wall of neon signs, there was a gorgeous teal blue, mid-century modern couch and chair. Love! But definitely can not have. Located in the seedy industrial area under the Morrison Bridge, you can't miss the warehouse with strings of flags flying overhead connecting the two buildings located across the street from each other and the plastic chairs hanging in the metal fence giving it a dumpster dive look. Quirky and a glimpse of what's to come when you walk in the door. It's easy to park right out front, no meter required, and while it looks sketchy, it's safe, just don't wander too far on foot outside. Park and go right in. Masks required and provided if you don't have. They even offer disposable gloves for customers to wear.

There is a lot of stuff and furniture that we have to go through but none of the stuff were not really good deal or trends. It's 2022 now. Their items are almost like 80s 90s furnitures and they are collecting dusts. Especially house decor were too old and too overpriced. Probably I won't go back again.

Vast selection, the best vintage in Portland! When I visit, I plan on at least 45 minutes because there is so much to see! I walk around the entire footprint then turn around and walk the other direction because different items will catch your eye. If you are seeking an occasional chair, they have so many styles and cool pieces. Wish I had room for more! They just don't make these styles anymore or of the same quality. They usually have a large selection of couches also in shades of teal, orange, avocado just like on The Brady Bunch. Even plaid, if that's your thing. And of course boomerang shaped coffee tables to complete your seating area. There are so many unique one of a kind pieces too, like an upright piano transformed into a bar. OMG, I wish I had the space for it! What I always have room for is unique bar ware and glasses and they have lots to choose from. Lots of metal and sculptural wall art which really gives a room personality especially when complimenting paintings or prints. They have a large selection of table lamps but it's the hanging pendants that I really love. Perusing this store ignites so many memories! I see items that take me back to my childhood home, pieces I haven't thought about in years. My face lights up remembering a curved side table, a Sputnik light and metal flower wall art similar to what adorned our den. Or a set of whiskey sour glasses like the ones my dad drank from, prints on pillows that are in photographs in my family album. Furniture that over years made it's way to our basement and then probably a vintage shop like Hawthorne Modern! Love, love, love this place! They moved to SE Alder but the charm, the selection, the finds are all still there!

I consigned 7 pieces with them in February 2023. Michael, the owner of the business, violated the terms of consignment contract in two ways and was just a poor business person to deal with. He violated the agreement by lowering prices for my pieces below the agreed threshold without notifying me, as was required. And he did not make payments to me following sales of individual items as was also required. Perhaps more importantly, as Renetta experienced, he provided no documentation whatsoever as to the actual sales of the items - no receipts, invoices sent to clients, no notation of sales prices per item, nothing. He just said the total proceeds were XXX$ (less than 50% of his original estimation). So he could have been completely making the number up. Because of this I asked for a report with prices by pieces and receipts. He refused to provide one. When I eventually gave up on that, he then ignored my requests for payment until I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I was finally paid for my pieces almost a year after consigning them. I am a small business owner myself. I store receipts for every transaction my business conducts. If someone asks for a receipt or record of a transaction I can provide it easily. For Michael, this is too much to ask.

They have curated a vast collection of mid-century modern furniture, many unique pieces, and in good condition. Was impressed and amazed at how many chairs they have! Not one or two of this and that; they had enough of the same chair to surround a dining table for 6 or 8! And also many dining tables of different materials and styles. Michael, the owner, gave me a cheerful greeting upon entry and welcomed me into the store. He gave me details on several items I was checking out, and since he didn't have the Eames chairs in the particular color and leg style I'm seeking, he offered to reach out to his network and get back to me. Now that is service! The store is deceivingly large so take your time and go through every room. In addition to couches, occasional chairs, dining tables and chairs, there are coffee tables, ottomans, side tables, lamps, hanging lights, chandeliers, pottery, vases, some dinnerware and some beautiful art. I'm so happy that I discovered this gem of a store! I will be making my rounds here frequently. Beautiful items, fair prices, and super friendly and helpful service - a winning combo!

That could be pottery, clothing, art, furniture, tchotchkes, plants, or something else. Some get really creative with their booths, adding hanging decor or a fun layout. This place has both new and used items. We buy stuff every time we go. There is vinatage furniture, new art, used art, cool little chakis, chairs, purses, jewelry, antiques, clothing and great vintage finds. So much more as well! Some things are unaffordable for us and some are more reasonably priced. We found beautiful wood shelves that are stunning and bought them. They were exactly what we were looking for. We got a cool industrial console table abd other fool finds. I have bought a few nicknacks that I like and new art when they had a sale. Street parking is easy to find plus they have a parking lot. There are bathrooms. I would say the one thing I dislike is everything is a final sale. I mean absolutely everything. So I have not bought certain things in case they could not work where we want to put them or we were might want to use. Also for gifts since they are not returnable and want to give my gift receiver's that option. Some staff are more helpful than others. So it depends on who is working. This a good place to go if you are cool with final sales. Theycdo have grsat stuff.
