Perfect experience working with LoveTeak. Went out looking for patio furniture Sunday. We wanted something high quality, and something we can someday get 10 people gathered around if this damn pandemic ever ends. LoveTeak had the French farmhouse table of our dreams and beautiful benches and chairs to match it. Ole was super easy to work with in the showroom and great about mask wearing and distancing while we were there. About 48 hours later the table and seats were delivered. The table is extremely heavy so it was assembled in our backyard. The crew was very friendly, efficient, and good about masks and distancing again. Will likely buy from LoveTeak again when we decide to upgrade our dining room table. Let's be honest, teak isn't cheap - we spent a few grand here but got maybe the nicest patio set they had. And you come away with a sense of how honest LoveTeak is as a business. If you aren't exactly sure what you want, Ole has a good sense of style and design and I found his advice to be quite helpful. He went out of his way doing things like letting us take home a couple cushions to assess whether the colors work with our backyard. I ordered 3 teak benches from Loveteak on-line after doing lots of research about quality teak furniture. Loveteak seemed to have the best-made I could find and I ordered 3 benches on-line. I guess I didn't realize that the store was right here in PDX, so I texted to see if I could save the $150 delivery charge and pick them up myself. I immediately received a text back from Ole, the owner, who was actually in Southeast Asia at the time looking for new teak lines he could represent in his shop. He immediately refunded the $150 and hooked me up with Chris who had my benches ready for pick-up at the store the next day. Spectacular customer service from Ole and Chris. The furniture itself is superb. First of all, it's real teak, not another wood sold as "teak." Second, the benches are contoured to slope a bit toward the middle of the seating area making these benches vastly more comfortable than a standard flat bench. Third, the wood is solid and has a nice heft to it. Finally, though the legs are bolted onto the top by either Chris or the consumer, the benches are exceptionally solid. Most furniture made today is flimsy disposable uncomfortable "crap," for lack of a better word. These benches remind me of the fabulously constructed and indestructible old McGuire furniture of the 70's which is still made, but to lower standards today. Loveteak has simply the best, well-made and most comfortable outdoor real teak furniture available and is right here in PDX. A treasure-trove. Thanks Ole and Chris! Steve K. read more

After browsing numerous brand-name stores and websites, we found LoveTeak's website and contacted them to see if a particular set was still available. Took a great deal of time out to help us with the purchase of a love seat, coffee table, sofa, chair with ottoman, side table, and dinning set (5 chairs, table, bench). What a find!! We were looking for a new patio set and wanted to avoid the metal ones because of the constant maintenance. LoveTeak has an amazing selection of beautiful, functional, and if you choose--zero maintenance deck furniture. If you do not oil the furniture, it ages naturally in a couple of years to a silvery gray. It can be stored outside in Oregon winters. It is all built of solid teak, no veneers in this stuff. Many styles come in two grades, A and C, with C being somewhat less expensive. But even the C grade will stand up to outside use according to the owners of Love Teak. Who by the way are very nice people and very easy to do business with. If you are looking for high quality patio furniture at a reasonable price, take a look at their products. read more

They threw in the most beautiful teak log/end table. I started looking at purchasing teak patio furniture when I realized that my existing (admittedly bland) glass table top & metal/plastic set was already looking worn after just a couple years. Everything I saw online said that teak furniture would last a long time, look good for years, & was naturally resistant to mold/mildew/pests. I truly thought that what I wanted was WAY out of my budget (did I mention that I looked at some teak patio sets online?). I found a set that I ABSOLUTELY loved but still forced myself to see what a much cheaper competitor (that happens to be really close by) had there. There really was no comparison. The furniture at Loveteak may be a bit more expensive than the nearby "competitor" (this comes from someone who shops almost obsessively at Goodwil) but there is such a HUGE difference in quality that comparing the two really isn't fair. And when I looked at sets comparable to what I got at online retailers, they were about 3 times what I paid for my set. Now is probably a good time to say that I LOVE the furniture I bought & can't seem to stop myself from going outside to admire or just run my hand over the surfaces. I have rarely taken the time to submit a review but our experience was so great I thought I would take a minute to share. My wife and I stopped in to just take a look. The owner was so attentive, helpful and pleasant. He was not the least bit pushy and genuinely seemed glad to just meet us. We ended up going back and purchased a seven-piece set. The teak is beautiful and the construction is solid. For example, the joints are all mortise/tennon and the screws are all hidden with teak plugs.
