IRIS! I've never had anything but wonderful interactions with City Market / pharmacy staff but today I was scolded and treated in the most passive aggressive childish way by IRIS. Evidently I "disrespected her" by being in my cell phone when I went to pick up a product. I had a family matter I was trying to resolve with a person who was on the other side of the world in Singapore and I had finally reached them at the same time I got 5 min to slip out of work to make it during pharmacy hours. I work the same hours as city market pharmacy and I must take time out of work in order to pick up anything from the pharmacy. Iris was at the counter and asked for my date of birth, which I gave her while still on the phone. She told me I was not allowed to be on the phone. I said I was with a family member and needed to remain on the call. She picked up my product, put it in a basket behind the counter, and walked away without saying another word. She looked back at me, holding my cell phone to my ear with distain. Another loaded walked up and took over for "disrespected Iris". She kindly asked me ti end the conversation informing me- "you're not supposed to be on your cell phone ..." still confused and with hesitation, I ask my family member if I could call them back. I've been trying to reach her for days in Singapore! I hung up the phone, picked up my product, and asked for clarification about cell phone usage. She said it was disrespectful. I looked around the pharmacy for any notation or signage about cell phones being prohibited but I didn't see any. I was grateful for the kindness of the other lady, but Iris... Not sure what her problem is! City market, please clarify? And if there is some rule - post signs and please also help Iris with her customer service! We have a choice to go to other places around town and believe me- mine is going to CVS or Walgreens! read more

Person running the pharmacy pickup area was definitely not the warm fuzzy type. A bit shocking how curt and cold she talked to me, if not a bit rude. Writing this to prepare other customers who might encounter her. Could definitely benefit from some customer service training on how to speak to customers. read more

My young daughter had a bad case of strep throat and the ER at the hospital pretty much next door sent over a prescription for antibiotics. I was SO happy that the prescription was ready very quickly - by the time we left the ER, parked and got to the pharmacy they already had it ready. The most organized City Market / King Soopers with average prices compared to Denver. Smashburger, jimmy johns, and Qdoba is also close by for a quick bite. read more

The grocery store part is great. The pharmacy part is not. I came in to ask about the rapid testing for COVID that was advertised for $25 throughout the whole store and I was basically dismissed by the people working in the pharmacy area. Not sure if they are bored with their jobs as pharmacists (Yes, I understand you count pills all days, but at least have a smile on your face or at least sound like you enjoy your job since I can't see your smile from under your mask). Geez, these so-called pharmacists are so miserable and fed-up with their job. I'm so sorry that your job isn't enjoyable, but if that's the case, find a different career! Plenty of great choices and a great selection of cheeses! Bakery also has great bread! If you are from out of town make sure to get their card: you'll save a lot of money right away! If you are here to ski it's right next to 70 and they have sandwiches, wraps or sushi to go! You'll save mucho bucks on the slopes. The only thing is I wish they had earlier and expanded hours. This store is the county's go-to grocery store for out-of-towners bedding down for a few nights at condos and the like during ski season, and it can get BUSY. But, the store manages it very well. It's a rare day when it's so busy you can't find a cart, but you can always find the food you need. And as a psuedo-local, you learn when to shop and when not to during peak season. Their produce/cheese/deli area is updated and awesome. Always fresh food, helpful staff and intuitive flow to find items. They keep the aisles well stocked and rarely will you find yourself unable to find something. Their hours are pretty convenient as well. The shopping center can get packed, especially when it snows and finding the parking lines are difficult, so be careful. This lot also serves a liquor store, a couple of restaurants, Sports Authority and a Bed, Bath and Beyond so you can literally find anything you need in this center. Be warned that you cannot wear ski boots inside. Plus, if you do, everyone will know you're a "gaper" aka tourist, so don't. read more

City Market is Krogers to us in Houston! It had everything we needed for a short trip. It was kinda fun running around the store picking up food for ten people. Total came out to be $97 bucks.. enough for breakfast, snacks and dinner. This saved us a lot of money vs. eating at up in the mountain. Their prices are ridiculous! $15 burger. I'm glad this store was close in proximity. Definitely a very useful store to go to if you are staying at keystone for the weekend. read more

This is our goto store for what we forgot when we are camping in the area! Have reasonable prices on the necessities you forgot - like baby propane containers, or hamburger buns or ketchup! Their fire wood is nearly 1/2 what the camp hosts charge, and other than that, they are the same as any old King Soopers! Layout is a little different than the ones I go to at mile high, but I can make do when i'm "on vacation" Pretty easy in and out using the lights, and across the parking lot from Starbucks! Staff is also friendly even though you know they deal with tourists day in and day out asking the same stupid question - like... where is the fire wood? propane? cheese? buns? Lordy Lordy Michael Jordy. Let me tell you what. I came into this heaven on earth of a place in desperate need of bread, but not just any bread. A baguette. The highest quality of baguette. So, I dilly daddle my way to the bakery section and thanks to the warm service of the baker on site, I found my coveted baguette. BUT GOD, being rich in mercy, graced the baker's brain with a novel idea that would be revolutionary to my immediate future. Once she handed me my baguette, she said "you can use our automatic bread slicer" and she motioned to this Holy Grail of a device. I pivoted to where she motioned and behold, there it is was. I approached the device with a stunned caution, questioning if a device could truly exist. On the front of the device, there were instructions to reach your desired result: automatically sliced bread. With a deep breath, I took the leap of faith and dropped my baguette into the machine. After a few seconds of peacefully listening to the orchestra of gears and slicers, I stared at disbelief at what laid before me. Sliced bread. Tears were shed. When in Ski Country, this is a must-stop for all your food essentials. You will always find a great deal at City Market. Its conveniently located for easy access when around the ski slopes. Great selections on fresh fruit and veggies. Their apples were huge and delicious upon every bite. Full-service grocery store, with a bone for vacationers. The Kroger's/Ralph's of Colorado, City Market nicely fills the mid-end grocery niche. Well-stocked bakery section offers a solid selection in muffins and rolls (not so much pastries), and deli offers both Boar's Head meats, as well as a perfectly good store brand. Store-brand deli pastrami is good enough for any occasion. Next to the pharmacy in the front corner of the store is a very large selection of travel-sized toiletries; very handy to avoid waste during week-long condo stays. Avoid buying booze. I was expecting this market to be pretty expensive due to its convenient location in Dillon, easy access from Highway 6 and proximity to Keystone and Breck. But since it's a Kroger, you can use your King Sooper card and get real bargains. On top of that you can find all sorts of free samples so I suggest walking by the fancy cheese case. Even the deli section gives out samples, and they have a huge variety of meats and cheeses (including Boar's Head) with many on sale for under $5. But the best tip I just learned is that they sell 2-for-$5 breakfast burritos that aren't half bad. I tried the egg-potato-cheese-green chile but they also had bacon, ham and chorizo options. If you are already up in the mountains on Friday night and want to grab a quick and cheap breakfast before you hit the slopes, stop by City Market the night before for a burrito you can warm up in the morning. read more

If you are looking for floral arrangements or bouquets in the Keystone, Colorado area, look no further than Rachelle at the City Market. I have worked with two floral shops, one for each of my daughter's weddings. The first florist was from Denver. She was excellent, and the flowers were lovely. The cost was triple what we spent for my second daughter's wedding. While my second daughter did have slightly less arrangements and bouquets than at my first daughter's wedding, I would tell you the arrangements and bouquets were extremely affordable and spectacular for the second wedding, and the care and expertise Rachelle provided at the City Market was incredible. I highly recommend Rachelle at the City Market in Dillon, Colorado if you are planning a mountain wedding in that area. read more

5 stars for generic IB Profin, Acid Reducer, Gas Reliever and Tums. I'm not a brand name whore by any sense but I do usually prefer Advil and drugs from people I know. But my generic brand "Kroger" drugs did the trick and cost less than a third of the price as the leading company. Who knew? read more

I really hate this store. First of all, it's impossible to find anything. The way they organize things makes absolutely no sense. Second, they have those stupid self checkouts that everyone hates. They're currently remodeling and instead, I wish they would use that money to hire more cashiers at a living wage. Because of this pointless remodel, they have started closing at 9 which seriously inconveniences the locals who have to work during the day. I came at 5 till 9 and they wouldn't let me in to buy one thing. They have lost my business for good. I will be going to Safeway in Frisco from now on. I'm a local and I LOVE this City Market!!! The store staff do an amazing job of trying to meet everyone's needs!! This is not a normal world in the high country and to have 10's of 1000's of people converge on the area and stop by to shop for their needs, is not easy to manage, but they work hard to make sure everyone is happy. City market loaf and jug has no bathroom. Only think of stopping for gas and not being able to go to the bathroom. Crazy that they don't have a bathroom. Furthermore the nearest building has a giant sign that says no restroom facilities available. Avoid this place if you value your bladder. read more

My husband and I bought entire shopping cart full of flowers here for our June wedding in Breckenridge ($250 for the whole cart). We saved so much money and the people in the floral section trimmed and placed all of our flowers in buckets with water for us.
