Date of visit: February 13, 2025 I'm still shocked two weeks later that stores close here so early during the week. 7pm!? That's crazy talk. We didn't realize this when we walked into the Columbia store at 6:50 on a Thursday, but the male worker let us know with the quickness that we had less than 10 minutes to go before they closed! We made a beeline to the clearance area and scored a great deal on a pullover fleece and a four pack of socks. I think the manager felt bad for his emphasis on the store closing time as he really pushed the benefits of the rewards program and encouraged us to sign up as we were checking out, which I did appreciate. The warranty on the zippers is a nice offering so you should do the same if you stop in and purchase something. read more

So many great deals in this store! You can find something for everyone in the family. They even have matching pajama sets for the whole family. Super cute! They would make a perfect gift during the holidays. The staff was super friendly and the store was spacious and well organized. Would definitely shop here again whenever I'm passing through. read more

They got a few fall season styles going for 70% and they definitely still work if you're keeping even the dead warm. And savings too boot. I've been shopping here for 5 years and buy all of my outdoor clothing for my family. The employees and managers have always been very nice and helpful until this last visit. We had about $200 in purchases and were heading to the register towards closing time when a male employee approached me and asked if I needed help, I said yes, do you know where I can find the rain jacket on the display? He snapped at me, NO, I said, do you know what size that is on the display? Again snapped NO, and we are closing in 2 minutes, and walked away. Apparently, this guy in camo pants was the manager. What a bad example to give to your employees, who are much nicer than he is. My message to him, if you don't like people, get out of the retail business. We checked out with a nice lady at the register and he stood by the front door as we exited and did not say thank you or good bye and it was 7:08pm, a few minutes after closing. I'm pretty sure I've visited this store every time we've made the trip out to Breckenridge. And it's not unusual to browse and find a great deal. One my most recent trip though, I was looking for a few specific things. First, a pair of lightweight men's hiking pants that zip off at the knee. I asked for help and was pointed in the right direction. I was so happy to find them because my Columbia at home didn't have them. Even better to get a deal - they were on sale for $25! Second, hiking shoes for my toddler. No luck there. They did have some awesome looking water shoes and some hard core hiking sandals. Lastly, I LOVE their low cut socks. My mother in law got me quite a few pairs last year and that's all I've worn ever since. They had a lot of options in that low cut style, but I couldn't find the exact same ones. Bummer. You never know what you'll find, but you'll definitely get a great deal on some of the best quality products when it comes to outdoor clothing! read more

Lady was super helpful with selections but when we used the dressing room the cashier made a comment, "Just don't steal my gloves." Might have been trying to be funny but saying that to a black man isn't funny. Aside from the fact that we spent $300 plus. read more

"Upon entering this fine establishment, the service was helpful and the prices were fortuitous. However, my companions and I were unaware of the injustice we would experience when directed upstairs to the women's section. To simply spare you the agony of a lengthy and tedious recount of our ordeal, I will shorten it to this- Taylor, the cashier, gifted me with the most horrendous customer service I experienced in my entire life, let alone at a clothing retailer. Her attitude left a stain on the reputation not only of herself or the store for which she worked, but the entire Columbia brand as a whole. First when I corrected her on the price charged, which was posted at $109 and charged at $119, she told me it was a good deal anyways. Then when I asked for a bag, she first ignored me. Then, she handed me the bag (crumpled in her fist like a used tissue) as if she was doing me a favor, and did not place my items in the bag. What horrendously pathetic service! With employees like this, who throw a fit over being proved wrong by a customer, Columbia should be very, very concerned for their image as a whole. I am tremendously positive I will no longer patronize that particular store ever again. I was left with naught but one question for the cashier- who relieved themself in her breakfast cereal?" The store is always clean and the employees are always friendly and helpful. This place is pretty addicting for it's deals. My friends and I always stop on our way back to Denver from the mountains. I always say I'm just joining them, but I always end up buying something. It's hard to walk away from such nicely discounted quality items. Well fitting hiking pants for $25? Sure thing! Does my 3month old nephew REALLY need a Columbia fleece? No, but it was only $15 so I had to buy it for him. read more

This store does have pretty good deals. Their selection of women's clothes is varied and current. The men's section is not as good. They have nice coats but their base layers and mid layers don't give very many choices and are somewhat uninspired garments. read more
