After checking in at 2:24 pm and not being serviced for over 1 hr & half. They were unable to even make the design. Said they couldn't do ombré coffin nails. The guy thought it was funny I was upset after 3 hrs sitting in their shop. He said do you need a snack not even taking into consider the time I've spent. This has been my go to walk in place. After today I'll never go back ever. $70 if you want to waste your money SMH poor customer service I walked out unhappy after paying & tipping. Went to this place to get a chrome effect for my nails as I had came two weeks prior to this same location for a rose gold chrome effect which I was very satisfied with. I wanted the exact same thing...rose gold chrome effect but what I got was totally different and I was NOT in the least bit satisfied. The first time I got both pedi and mani with rose gold chrome effect gel polish for close to $90 MINUS the spa treatment for my pedi and I thought that was steep considering the fact that I always tip regardless to ensure good future service. I feel for $90 the spa service should have been included and am not sure if I got ripped off...any insights welcomed! So the second time I just wanted my nails redone the same way I had them the first time as I like my mani and pedi to be an exact match and prefer a more conservative style (no designs and such). I had inquired a few days before getting the service about price and was told $25. The guy who did my nails was impressively quick but when he finished I knew right then I wasn't satisfied as it didn't match my pedi, polish was all around my nails and hands and it looked half done as if I had the nails done for about 2 weeks and looked as if they were already chipping. It looked very amateur at best. To top everything off the price came to almost $40 but exactly $37, but $40 after my $2 tip. I paid and left but will be finding somewhere else for mani and pedi services....I regret not saying anything directly to him but prefer this mode of venting as it seems to be more effective at protecting future curious prospects. read more

I have been a loyal and faithful customer to this salon for over 10 years i recently had the worst customer service and experience ever with the main nail tech I request she was very rude and unprofessional as I asked her to change the nail polish color before she finished my full set she made a scene in front of other customers that were also there blamed me for making her late to pick up her children said I had to pay extra to change the color she then proceeded to call the building manager on me as if I posed a threat to her and then told me to never ever come back ! But I wasn't the only person she was having a issue with that day 30 minutes before I was in her chair the customer before me was having words with her as well she didn't like something she did to her nails and when the customer complained Crystal (the nail tech) again got an attitude with the customer instead of being professional and giving the paying customer what they want she did what she wanted to I will never ever be back and I don't recommend this place to anyone ever again ! On top of that when it was my turn to get my nails done she accepted three extra customers for eyebrows wax and did a full pedi on another gentleman who walked in 30 minutes before closing time! I'm not sure where to start...The look of the salon is old and dirty. The couch they have for guests is dipped on one side and stained. The place appears to have a film of nail dust over everything and even the nail polishes and powders have no rhyme or reason to them, they entire place seems to be in ciaos and just unorganized. The staff are all wearing various shades of blue which comes off more sloppy than uniform, maybe just get them all matching blue smocks? The entire place just seems to need revamping. Anyway, they over charge for the quality of product I received. I paid $35 for a polish change and specialty polish. Which would be fine expect I had to walk her through the entire thing as far as shape and how to blend the acrylic into the nail. The tech was very kind and listened to what i wanted so I still tipped well, just inexperienced. After the 3rd time of feeling needy with what I wanted because she wasn't doing it correctly I stopped asking. I just wanted my nail blended together and a dramatic coffin shape, only 4 of my nails were coffin everything else was standard. I wore the polish for 1 day and then had to go buy a file and remover to redo them myself. I'd say go here but expect what you pay for, except they charge way more than what they give. This was worth $20 and I paid $35. If you can get into Riya's and dont mind paying for quality, go there. This place needs an extreme makeover with appearance and talent. read more

I called in on a Saturday morning asking for an appointment only to find out they don't do appointments on Fridays or Saturday....so I decided to walk-in for a pedicure and gel manicure. It took an hour and half to seat me. They were clearly understaffed (3 technicians, a waiting area full of people and a guy on his phone). And the staff was actually quite rude. My pedicure and gel mani took an hour and 15 min and cost $71. However, this was one of the best mani/pedi's I've ever had. The technician listened to my requests and did not rush through the process even though they had 5+ people waiting behind me. I recently went in for a manicure, but also got a pedicure as well. It was my first time for both, as my fiancee was complaining about how rough my hands were. Fortunately, I did not have to set up an appointment as they take walk-ins. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I looked at the services menu. I opted for the Royal manicure/pedicure. I did not opt for any color (I am a man, after all... how would that look?!?), but I did get my nails buffed, shaped, and cleaned up, with a hot towel and invigorating massage afterwards... it was quite an experience!
