Booked mani/pedi's for 3 people 2 months in advance, to celebrate a baby shower. When we arrived, no one greeted us and then rudely told us a nail tech called in sick, so 1 person couldn't get their nails done. If we weren't celebrating a special occasion, we would have left, so we tried to be flexible and offered for 2 of us to just get 1 service. We were told they were too busy (the salon was empty, we were the only ones there) to do 4 services for 3 people and could only do 4 services for 2 people (which makes no sense, that would take the same amount of time as they were not doing the mani/pedi's at the same time...). In addition to the HORRIBLE customer service, this was the worst manicure I've ever had. I've been getting my nails done weekly for over 15 years. The nail polish was watered down and streaky, has already chipped and it's been less than 24 hours. I will never go back & warn everyone I know to not go. read more

I'm even more challenged with why your staff does not have any autonomy to do the right thing - meaning make it right. I booked my polish change after my pedicure with Connor 2 weeks ago. I was not told the price would be $40 nor is it posted on your price menu. Why would I not just get the pedicure or paint my own toes. I'm beyond furious and I would appreciate someone responding. My boyfriend and I made an appointment and received absolutely terrible service. The two young ladies working there were incredibly unprofessional. During my manicure, I was cut, and just a few days later, the gel nail polish started peeling off. To top it all off, they had another client come in during our appointment, making us wait. We paid $275 (including gel x French tip, two manicures and two pedicures with one gel polish) for this awful service and shoddy quality. This place is a complete rip-off! Terrible nail services both times I tried the salon. The first appointment was for a set of gel x extensions. Several of the nails were crooked. I decided to give them another shot, but to do gel on my natural nails instead. The nail technician did not fully file / soak off the old gel extensions so my gel turned out lumpy and didn't cure correctly. It began chipping within a week and the top coat didn't protect my nails which became completely discolored within a couple days. I attempted to give the salon one last try, but unfortunately came down with a sinus infection that kept me in bed the day of my appointment. When the salon reached out, I apologized for the late cancellation and asked to reschedule so I wouldn't get any of the technicians sick. They said they'd reschedule, but that I'd also be charged 50% of my appointment for the late cancellation. I opted not to reschedule and I sincerely hope the 50% for a single cancelled service was worth the loss of ongoing business. I can understand such a policy for chronic, unexpected cancellations, but for someone who is sick and trying to keep others safe, this seems like overkill. read more

I have very pleased with how fast the response time was** I would love to give this place another shot sometime in the future as its further away from where I live. Although I did like the nail bar I am highly dissatisfied with how fast my nails have chipped. We were there 1/15/2024. My daughter and I went to get our nails done for her 5th birthday. I did gel nail polish and she did regular paint. My nails started chipping that evening and her nails are completely off. At a nail salon I expected the nail polish to last longer. When painting my daughters nails at home it last weeks. My gel nail polish is completely chipped away on 2 nails on each hand. For the prices of this salon I would not recommend due to the fact that they chip or come completely off not even 3 days later. The only positive was the girls that did our nails were super friendly and nice. BUT the products are not top tier. read more

Came here with my boyfriend for pedicures and was extremely disappointed in the service. We had paid for a pedicure with an extra 10 min massage add on. Not only did he not receive the massage that was supposed to come with the normal Pedi but he did not receive his 10 extra minutes... he got maybe a 1 min massage. His nails also were not cut down and he is having to cut them less than a week after getting them done. Not to mention his clear coat is already off in less than a week as well. Terrible pedi, especially when it costs you over $55. After this was posted, I received a call from the W nail bar saying they would like to make it right by giving us a free pedi. I was told they would put a note in our account that our next pedi would be covered. I booked a pedi for myself online and then my boyfriend (who was supposed to get a free one). After receiving confirmation emails that both were booked, I received another email a week later that only mine was booked and not my boyfriends.... Even though I had changed nothing. I called the nail bar and I was told they had no record of his appointment or free pedicure... and no room to get him in with me. My mom and I visited the Ohio City location last week. This was our first time at a w nail bar salon and Mario and Catharine were so kind, sweet, and made the whole experience for us wonderful. Their attention to detail was amazing. I appreciated that they both would check with my mom and I to make sure we were happy with our nail shape, length, etc. You can tell they take pride in their work and aim to deliver exceptional service and quality work.
