I used to love this salon when technician Mia worked there. She is gone now and unfortunately, so is their quality service. The new tech that performed my pedicure recently, rushed through the procedure, interrogated me to the point of rudeness and she never turned on the chair massage function. I went here to get my nails done while in town, I didn't have an appointment scheduled so called in for availability. I was told there was availability within 15 mins which worked out well. I was seen fairly quickly upon my arrival and sat at a comfortable massage chair for my pedicure. While a gentlemen did my toes my hands were soaked to remove my previous dip. Very efficient. As soon as my toes were done the same gentleman moved me to a table to work on my hands. I changed my mind last minute for the nail color and he took it very well and did a great job. That gentlemen (I didn't catch his name) did a great job. For some reason he wasn't able to finish my hands and another gentlemen took over, this gentlemen messed up one of my nails a little and seemed bothered when I asked him to fix it. Besides that one particular incident I'd go back whenever I'm in town again. It's since been about 2 weeks and my nail are still holding up strong. My toes do have a little chipping but other than that they are holding up. read more

UH HE!! No STARS! This place is awful. I got stuck with a chick with no training, no skills, and did not speak English at all. Ok, I saw great reviews of "Don" but he wasn't any better, he couldn't do nail designs, WHY would he risk his business by allowing a non-nail tech to do anything? I want all my money back for this poor service. I did not feel pampered. It's one of the cleaner nail shops in Huntsville but why does no one have skills here? Not everyone wants a dip or a gel nail. How about art, cleanliness, skills!?! SOMETHING. Then he has the nerve to over charge for pretty much everything... what a waste. read more

I enjoyed my nails and the process, i got longer acrylics. the shape wasn't exactly what i wanted but it was close enough.the real reason i was upset is because i wanted regular polish on my nails and he lady asked me, not exaggerating 6 times if i was sure i didn't want gel for an extra $10. It made me really uncomfortable, and i'm sure if someone has heightened social anxiety it was really effect them, to where they felt they had to say yes. read more

I followed Don from his salon in Madison to City Nails. Don is a prefectionist. He does an outstanding job on my nails. He chooses a color and I have always been pleased. Don and Kayla are amazing! Ben could use a little more practice. My manicure from Ben was not even half decent and I was left with bleeding fingers from all the nicks and pokes he did. You also have to keep reminding him of what colors you want because I told him the color I wanted and he did my toes correct. But then did a completely different color on my nails. I'd suggest also telling him what shape you want or else you will get a trapezoid shaped nail. read more

My tech (young man, not the owner) was nice but definitely was rushing due to how busy it was. It's an okay job (dip with tips) and I'd go back and try again, but maybe ask for a different tech and/or try to go when it's not so busy (not 4 pm on a Friday, lol). read more

I saw all of the negative reviews and decided to look past them. I definitely shouldn't have done that. It was hands down the dirtiest nail salon I had ever been too. The monomer(purple liquid) had all sort of stuff floating around in it. They cut me multiple times with the file. The acrylic was all over my hands and my nails were very uneven. I ended up going to a different salon and they were in shock I even paid. DO NOT LET THE PICTURES FOOL YOU THE NAIL ART IS GARBAGE. read more
