Very disappointed in my recent experience with Victoria Nails. As a HSV native and Victoria Nails customer who LOVED this store from 2013-2016, I did not think much would change between now and then but I was very wrong. In my prior experiences at this salon, this was my go to nail salon. I frequented the owners and was always pleased with my services. Always friendly and the store was clean. 3 of us tried to get a walk in done early this past Saturday morning and were quickly turned away saying that they were "too booked" by a man. Understanding that 1) we didn't make an appointment and 2) it was the weekend, we didn't mind the turnaround. On Sunday I tried calling Victoria Nails BEFORE 5:30 PM (closing time - per attached photo) and the first time it answered. I tried saying "Hello? Hello." Etc and then they hung up. I called again and it rang until it went to voicemail to which I left a detailed message requesting an appointment the following day (Monday morning at 10 AM), the services requested, who was with me and My return number. On Monday we showed up to the salon to a not so busy store and were turned away again. When asked what services I wanted I said I tried calling and left a message the night before, the same man who turned me away the prior Saturday said "we don't check our messages"! And he told me that they were too booked for my mother and I AGAIN. Why on earth do you put store hours and a phone number on your website and yelp then?! My mother and I left unhappy and said we will NEVER go back to this salon again... and unfortunately I don't think this man cared. It's sad because I believe if the owner knew of this behavior it would be totally upsetting to him and his family. read more

It was my first time getting a mani and pedicure in years! Everybody was very friendly and they took great care of me. It was really hard to not fall asleep because I was so relaxed. I have been a customer of this salon for years but tonight was my last visit. They make appointments but never honor them - you wait and wait and wait - what is the purpose of an appointment? They scheduled me at 6:15 and because they are so behind the rush and do a AWFUL job. When I ask the lady, she looks at me and ignores me - I told the owner how unhappy I was and he did nothing. Literally the worst manicure and pedicure I have ever received. I asked for dipped and the man gave me acrylic. I didn't realize until he was almost done because I had never gotten acrylic before and thought it was some special type of dipped ?? I don't know how I missed it but not only is it not what I asked for at all - it is so horribly done. Literally there is a huge gap between my nail and the mountain of acrylic he put on it. Plus the man was SO RUDE rolled his eyes at me when I said I wanted them shorter and made all of my nail beds BLEED. My nails are so swollen and hurt so bad after I had to take Advil. I was too nice to ask for my money back but wish I would have. I have never even written a review before because I don't care about stuff like this but it was so bad I had to. read more

Avoid the younger male. He has done my pedi twice. He will make you feel uncomfortable and his pedis are done horribly. Not shaped right and I believe I will end up with an ingrown on one toe. read more

I got acrylics here and then came back two weeks later to get them filled. I was told that the original set would be $45 and to get them filled two weeks later was $18. This apparently is only with regular nail polish which chips easily. It turned out to be $55 for the original set and then $36 to have them filled if you're getting gel nail polish which actually lasts two weeks. that's $80 per month for nails which is steep for me but if you can pay that by all means. Regardless the nails were beautiful and lasted 2 weeks. I didn't have any problems with chipping or cracking. They were very strong and looked natural. The employees speak good enough english and work hard to give you exactly what you want. Overall a good experience besides the price. I'm going to try and find somewhere that can do gel cheaper but doubtful I'll find it. read more

My regular salon and the very best service in Huntsville! Pristine cleanliness; full selection of nail services. I'm retired, so I try to go during weekday mornings when the crowd is down. I will never return here. We went in on a Friday and sat and waited for a manicure. Well a woman walked in after us without an appointment and got seated before my sister did. Normally I would not have cared but we were in a rush. I asked the gentleman doing my nails why my sister was skipped and he said, "it's ok you wait for better person. " About 15 minutes later (25 minutes after I started) someone sat down to do my sisters nails. They convinced us to try this new nail polish called SNS. Well I had three coats put on and my sister had one coat put on. She actually finished ten minutes before me. They did not clean my cuticles, push them back if trim my nails. What the heck did I pay $35 for?!?? The last thing that ticked me off was we were finished and standing in line and a guy came up to the counter and I thought he was checking us out. He said move so he could check out his lady. She paid and I thought we were next. He just walked away instead. We waited 6 minutes before someone else came to check us out. I was so ticked off the woman at the front knew we were waiting and just kept looking at us. I will never be back. Your service is awful and the nails you did dont even look that great. read more
