It was the absolute sloppiest job I have ever ever experienced. I tried to live with it but could not. I went back the same day to have them fix it and it was about 50% better. Still no care or concern for doing having the job be neat. I just left - no need to argue this just showed me the extent to which they value their clientele (not at all). I tried again because it was convenient to another place I was going. LAST TIME EVER. #1 they tried assigning me to the older gentleman that did such a terrible job the last time. I politely refused. So, the younger gentleman said he would take me. It literally felt like he was taking out his lack of appreciation for me not wanting the older gentleman's assistance. I went and got my nails done today (elsewhere). When the polish was removed (by them) I was HORRIFIED to see how the guy at AJ's had literally taken the enamel off of my natural nails by his aggressive use of the tool. I am furious. To book online you have to pay a deposit to be prepared - however my builder gel with art usually only ~$60 which is a fantastic price point. My feet are done but the girl Taylor, refused to do my nails. She bounced, hobbled around, and had to fuel the beast by eating while a client sat quietly with 1/2 the service asked for. All while I was there, she took another walk in while I was already there and still waiting for my services to be completed. She continues to bounce around the shop while I needed my nails started. She hobbled around like I was not there. At 1:14 I asked her if she was doing them. She stated,"No", after I was told she would. She stated she has a 2:00. Manager said he did not know she had an appointment. It was a big disappointment. Very Poor Management and Customer Service. Never again. "No stars!" but had to choose one to post. The only thing I do not like is there is no price board; I like to be able to calculate exactly what I'm being charged because it's all in writing.
