We moved here from Brandon a few months ago and I went to several nail places (I always get dip nails & a gel pedicure) after several disasters with breaking nails, and even get my skin cut I was so frustrated. I found this place and I'm so happy I did. I always see Ella and she is AMAZING!! She's always so sweet and asks me about my kiddos and is friendly, and most importantly she does an amazing job on my nails. She is thorough and timely and her design ideas are always so cute and fun. She's also done nails for my daughter and is very patient with her. 4.5 stars. This family-owned business has been open since 2013. It is located in front of Target. Hours are: M/T/TH/F & Saturday from 9:30 AM till 7 PM, & from 11 AM till 5 PM Sunday. (Closed Wed.) Walk-ins are welcomed. This is a clean salon-- neon green in color w/ approx 8 Pedicure massage chairs & 4 Maincure cubicles. (Plastic liners are used in the foot basins.) Staff is masked & there is plexiglass around the Manicure area. (Customers may choose to go maskless.) It's a full service salon that offers Manicures; Pedicures; & Waxing, as well as Nail Art. Unfortunately, @ this time the salon's wepage has expired so I'm unable to provide a full list of services & pricing. I have stopped in twice-- once w/ a scheduled appt for Christmas Eve day & the other as a weekday walk-in. On both occasions, fashionable "Michelle" handled my gel nails. I paid $58 for the initial set (white w/ sparkles-- see pic) & $38 for fill-ins (Oak Bluff-- see pic). Michelle did EXCELLENT WORK both times. She worked steadily & had an eye for detail-- overall, she definitely gave me the BEST NAILS-- shape, length, application of polish, cuticles, filing, etc. Every nail was uniform, as was the polish. (No other salon saw me walk out w/ ten uniformed nails.) Michelle wasn't warm & fuzzy (she may be shy?), but that wasn't a concern of mine-- I just wanted to walk out w/ excellent nails, which I did:) The only reason I removed half a star is due to the language barrier. I expected two polish colors on my first visit & a flower design on my thumbs on the second, yet the requests weren't received. (Thankfully, my nails nevertheless looked great:) Upon a subsequent visit (& I will return), I will ask Michelle (or any staffer I am using) to repeat my request so I know it has been received & understood. I am also picky with my nails, I like the dipped because it will last me 4-5 weeks between fills. Well I have found the best nail salon to meet my needs and then some!!! Sent my daughter there to get her nails done and she asked them 3 times how much and they told her one price but swiped her card for a completely different price and told her it was tax. After speaking to one of the mail techs they told me they don't charge tax and that it was for shape. They didn't even tell her they were charging extra before they swiped the card. Ladies here are rude. I asked for the regular fill $27 and pedi, they were gonna nickel and dime me for taking off gel, cutting nails, so it will all cost me the almost the same $37 as getting gel fill $40 so in a way they were telling me we will charge you gel prices eve if you choose regular polish because polish take off and nail cutting will amount to the same. Then they did not have the regular polish color on gel that I had picked and was pushing me to get a different color I didn't like - Wow! Why the heck do you even offer regular nail color at a cheaper price then? What's the point? ultimately, I told I was taking too long to choose (I had not been sitting for on the chair for 5mins) and that they had more clients waiting- So rude!. (No one was lining up!) so I got off and paid just for my kid- who was only supposed to be $7 but got charged $10- mani and pedi is supposed to be a relaxing experience you look for on the weekend- instead these ladies made it a frustrating experience.Don't bother going here. read more

This is the worst nail salon I have ever been to. and I have been getting my nails done the same exact way for 30 years! The customer service is extremely terrible. When you request a fill they said no because it takes too long! seriously, this is one of the main services for nail salons. They are too lazy to provide the service they offer. To make matters worse, they charged me double to get a full set! Not only are they lazy, they over charged me!! If I did this at my job, I would get fired. Before even going on for my appointment, the lady stated to my friend that her nails were "too much work" they were beyond rude. My nail tech told me to "stop talking I need to focus" we go to this salon usually and the prices were always the same, so why they charged my sister 55 dollars for plain white gel nails when my long acrylics with design and gel was 57 I don't know. When I called they said "it wasn't 55 it was 52" as if I didn't have a receipt. God awful service and low quality nails. I recommend A nails or Touch nail salon instead. Much better service and nails and their prices are consistent. I have got here on and off for years and only get pedicures maybe once a year. I have never complained until the last pedicure. The woman looked at my nails and immediately announced that my nails were too short which I replied that I actually prefer them short since they grow so fast. She was rude after and rushed through (10 min at most) I asked if she would mind getting my ingrown nail out and she then got more of an attitude and got up and someone else finished me. I'm a hairdresser so always appreciate the hard for of my fellow people in the service industry. I too well and never usually say anything at all. So I called again today to just get my regular fill which never once have I complained only showed appreciation and I was told I should go somewhere else cause I'm too picky! So odd I was blindsided! I made appt with my other guy Henry at CND nails next to Michael's and it was a great experience as always. Everyone there is always warm and inviting so I will stick with them from now on. If you r wanting horrible service in a negative environment where you can feel like you're putting them out to do your nails then this place is for you but if you're wanting a great experience I suggest you go elsewhere because this place is horrible. read more

I recently moved here from another state. I've tried a few other nail salons in the area and have not found one that did my nails like my person back home. We saw the Open sign and the name is the same name as the salon I went to back home. They were very welcoming, attentive and professional. The shape of my acrylic nails is finally looking the way I prefer them to look. My daughter had recently had dip color put on her nails (another salon didn't listen when she asked for a manicure only!). This was her first time to have it changed they were very gentle Great job! I got my nails done at this location on a Tuesday afternoon. I requested a full set of dip nails. The gentleman that did my nails burned my cuticle three separate times and by that Sunday two of my nails had already popped off. For a $45 set that usually last three weeks to only last six days is extremely disappointing. Would not recommend. read more

First time at Best Nails this morning. They were down two employees but still managed to take me right away and provide the services requested. I have two suggestions: 1. Perhaps an addition to your services menu would be the time allotted to each service (I've seen this feature elsewhere). Why this is important- When I want to be pampered via an extended pedi, having the time allotment on the menu may cause me to upgrade. 2. Lip/chin waxes always leave a little wax residue on the skin. Most spas remove it with baby oil and then apply aloe. Perhaps the employee should ask the patron whether this is acceptable before applying. Why this is important- Skin allergies or skin sensitivities are common. Best to inquire first. read more

I called ahead of time to get my nails shaped from my acrylics that I got done the day before because they were all insanely uneven and had chipped off nail polish after not even 24hrs. Once I got there I told them I needed them reshaped and all they did was repaint them. Once I told them I still needed the reshape which is what I had called for the management lady started yelling at my face saying I wasted their time and told me to go somewhere else and that she'd give me my money. Literally how insane is that? All I asked for was to get a reshape don't correctly over 45$ nails I paid for. read more

While watching them as I was getting a pedicure I was concerned that the instruments for toe nail cutting were put back in their drawer after only spraying them with something (could have been water as I noticed no scent). I asked them about it and was told that they bleach things at night. How unsanitary! I will never return! read more

I came in for the first time for a fill. Gotta say...the People are very nice, but the place is not sanitary at the manicure stations, at all. I mean, gross. He used the same towel for me that had tons of gunk from the people before, same dirty files, same brush dipped in an oil bottle used on everyone, and the wrist cushion was positively disgusting. The man's hands were also dirty before touching me. I'm going home to alcohol my hands. I was hopeful with the reviews it was going to be good. My nails are uneven and some are slightly misshapen.
