I stopped in to have a manicure last week. The counter was filthy and the towel was stained. I asked the manicurist to please clean the counter before we started. They did a half-hearted job, so I pointed out the collection of nail dust mixed with blue and orange flecks at all the edges of the counter as well as the stations on either side of me. Their response was to try and pass me off to another manicurist. I told them that I would not have my nails done somewhere that wasn't clean and that they would not pass an inspection. I asked for a manager. There was none. I left without having my nails done and will never go back. Don't have your nails done in a salon that is not clean! read more

I've been coming to this salon intermittently for the past year. Prior to today's visit, it's been an option I'd torn to. Let's face it, there are several nail salon options in any given radius so customer service and a job well done will be what sets a salon apart. I came in as a walk-in for a pedicure on a Sunday morning arriving at 11:09; there were 3 other customers being served. I was asked to pick a color, offered a seat in a massage chair then waited and waited a little longer. I previously had a gel pedicure but wanted to just do a pedicure with the deluxe treatment; one of the nail techs-- the owner or lead, persisted that I go from a gel pedicure to a gel pedicure since I waited so long in between. I declined and she insisted again asking if I understood. I let that go for the time being. Several other customers came in (regulars) seemingly with an appointment time. That's not an issue. At 11:41 having had zero updates on my service, hot water basin turned lukewarm, I asked if it would be much longer or should I come back. A tech who has not yet engaged with me said if you'd like to leave you can. The tech closest to you is painting toes but if you want to go you can. I asked for a towel and one was placed for me to help my self. Nail salons are notorious for not being places of high customer service but you could try and make it a relaxing environment for your patrons. Just asking for effort, communication and less of what I experienced today. read more

I got a gel full set and a gel pedicure. I paid $125 plus $20 tip. The customer service was average. I like my pedicure but I'm not too crazy about my nails. I wish they weren't as Thick. I'd go back for a pedicure. read more

I went to this nail salon because the reviews on yelp were good. Overall my experience was a seven out of 10. The good parts were that the nail shop was clean, and the stylists were professional. The stylist was friendly and she overall did a great job on my nails. This nail shop seemed to be supported by the locals which means there were a group of ladies of a certain class and race, who received preferential treatment in my experience. I called ahead and scheduled my appointment. When I got there, the woman who greeted me, started my nails, then stopped and went to another lady, while asking me to sit in the pedicure chair and "enjoy a massage" while getting a pedicure. Her excuse was that the other lady needed to get home to take her medication. Later, I saw the same lady working on some one else while I say there and waited in the pedicure chair for over 30 minutes It was a while before any one did my pedicure. Then the lady started my full set while I was in the pedicure chair. It was very awkward and not the relaxing experience I was expecting in any way. Once the second manicurist began my nails in her chair, she did well, she listened and communicated well. There was a communication gap between her and the first woman because she didn't get the detailed explanation about wanting my nails round and not too long so I could still type. I didn't realize that no one actually manicured and treated my nails until after I left. Overall my nails look pretty but the experience was stressful for me. read more

Horrible experience in my life!!! If I could give this place a 0 rate, I would! The manager and people who work there are very rude and money hungry. They don't care about the customers wants. I just wanted to get my nails done, the nails tech then started cutting off my real nails and wanted to charge me more for adding tip? I called prior to arriving for a price, once I got there, they added $20 more to my Bill. This is what they did to my nails. AND THEY MADE ME PAY!!!!! Don't go here!!! My mother was visiting from out of town and wanted a simple manicure and pedicure. When she told the man who was going to do her service his whole demeanor changed as he tried to argue with her that gel was better even though she explained that gel has previously damaged the health of her nails. Instead of arguing she decided to just walk out. Customer service is a very important part of a nail experience, and this was not up to the standards that I value. When I entered to get an understanding the manager LaToya and the man were very defensive so it was apparent that we have different expectations of customer service. read more

Terrible is all I can say. I walked in and requested a gel pedicure and fill in manicure. From the start I was met with attitude. I walked over to the color wall and was barked at that I was looking in the wrong place. Picked a color and sat down. The person who was going to do my manicure never said a word to me and when I questioned why he was putting the color in before ensuring the powder was off my nails he told me he's been doing this 15 years and knows what he's doing. (Anyone who has to tell u how long he's been doing something instead of answering your questions doesn't know what he's doing) When that was done he had me squeeze between two pedicure chairs where there was no room without bothering the people putting polish on other clients toes. There were plenty of other chairs available. Now I'm left sitting for 10 minutes. Now water in the bowl to soak just sitting there. The new person now starts the pedicure again my feet never once touched water when I questioned this i was told you don't soak till "later". This guy cuts my toes while attempting to cut my cuticles. I'm now bleeding and he's giggling while apologizing. I guess I should be happy he at least attempt s the cuticles. The manicurist told me he doesn't cut cuticles unless a manicure is specifically requested. Fast forward to polishing my toes. This guy puts polish over my bleeding toe. Are u kidding me. I'm extremely satisfied with the service, Even tho I went on a busy afternoon the manager and technicians made sure I was well attended. The chick that did my manicure (TU) went above and beyond to meet my expectations and even recommended a better product for me. Prices are reasonable, the salon is cleans and they have an overall good environment I recommend making an appointment to save some time. read more

Looking by the good reviews and photos decided to do a walk in visit and was seated for a pedicure straight away. I got a deluxe pedicure with french gel one of the girls did it and was very thorough and relaxing. Acrylic nexgen pink and white ombre infills by Stephen. I had older pink white ombre underneath from another salon and a clear fill from a salon after that so he drilled the old acrylic off which was nice to make a fresh start. He knew the shades of pink and white id like based on what i said earlier. There are a few different shades of the nexgen white pink acrylic to choose from, i got off white and nude. Stephen is very thorough and a perfectionist. None of the services are rushed its very pampering. Prices are a little more however its a great result and service i know theyll last me 4 weeks rather than a cheaper place that will last 1.5 weeks. Very highly recommended!!! read more

never Had such awful experience, my nails were so bad I left ,I never experienced so much pain, the person rushed , cut me, and then put nail polish on so fast I didn't have time to wash my hands, the nail polish was slimy and I just couldn't get out fast enough, I cried., and then had to pay for them, I have an awful finger infection. I don't know why I was treated so bad, I have sore cuticals, I've waited days to do this, but I my fingers hurt and hope this will make the person that did my nails to slow down and have some compassion,. I deserved to be treated better than I was, Plus watch for used equipment, so disappointed read more

My technician complained about having to work the moment I walked in. She butchered my toe and was unapologetic about It. In this industry, you should make your clients feel good about themselves, not worse. My tech made me feel completely uncomfortable and I hope no one else has the same experience. On another note, there was no host or receptionist and the person in charge kept saying any questions we had she could answer (meanwhile, she has a guest in front of her that she is doing a manicure on). My hand nail tech was more comforting, but did not clean the bowl right after cutting my cuticles. She rinsed it and put the bowl in a cabinet without disinfecting it. Victoria and her husband own a very well kept salon. Victoria is a great recommendation for anyone in the area just looking for a quality nail tech for a quick fill or even a new set. Her prices are fair and keep up with her local competition. In my opinion you get quality service for a low price. In Austin Texas I pay between 35-50$ for fills and new sets. Victoria has a steady hand and fabulous at designing. Her salon specializes in S&N nail dip, solar gel (better then acrylic & what I get), natural manicure, GREAT $20 pedicure, and acrylic nails of course. She offers great pricing for shellac as well! Victoria did a great job on my nails, she was really detail oriented and had great customer service. However, as a business they're really understaffed. Compared to other businesses in the area, they would have nail techs ready waiting in the back, walking around and maintaining the store. I came in for a mani/ pedi and it took 3 hours to get it done, from my nail tech taking on and balancing other ppl at the same time as doing my nails. If I came back it would def be necessary to schedule an appointment. Just thinking about ones day you would really have to have an open schedule if you go as just a walk in. read more
