I really wanted to leave a 5-star review because the service was fast. His price was fair and he came within 15 minutes whereas other guys either charged more or needed 25-30 minutes to get here. It also turns out that many locksmiths in the industry charge extra on the spot for all kinds of little things. My only turnoff was I kept asking him over the phone...what's the price. He said, $100. I repeated a couple times asking him to clarify that was the exact price and with absolutely no other secret charges. He confirmed numerous times that $100 would cover everything. He came over, was friendly, unlocked the door within 10 seconds. Then said the charge would be $105 because I wanted to pay with a debit card. I don't care about the $5 amount but it's a matter of principle. AHHHH...but he did give me a ride 2 blocks down the street to my car. FINE...5-stars! read more

City One Locksmith made rekeying my door lock a breeze! I recently moved to Burbank and, being a paranoid person, I wanted to get new locks. But the door lock is actually pretty nice so my realtor suggested keeping the lock itself but getting it rekeyed. I didn't even know that was a thing :P I found City One Locksmith on Yelp and gave them a call. They must have a network of locksmiths working for them because they were able to get someone out to me in about an hour. He was fast and efficient. My lock was rekeyed and I had five beautiful new keys pretty quickly. The only thing that delayed him a tiny bit was that he assumed I would want 2 keys, like a normal person. Hello, I am a paranoid person... I need five! XD So he had to go back down to his truck to make more keys for me :D I don't remember how long the entire process took but it was pretty fast and it cost $135 total. Now I wish I had asked him to make copies of some other keys for me... but I guess I can do that myself at Home Depot. But if you need someone to come out to you, then City One Locksmith is definitely a safe bet! read more
