...updating from a 4 star to 5 star at the owners request. We originally called City One when we realized our hide-a-key mysteriously disappeared. They came out around 8:30pm and re-keyed all of our locks, and gave us as many new keys as we wanted. Very friendly and efficient. A few days later the knob on our front door stopped turning. It had worked great until we had the locks re-keyed. City One had someone come out to take a look. They let us know the issue was with the knob, not the re-keyed part of the lock. The advised us to purchase a new knob, which they then came back and we paid for them to install. The next day, the knob stops working again, the brand new knob! Frustrated, we called them again. Now the fourth visit, someone came out and tried to explain and show us that the issue was not the lock but the knob. The man said he had never seen this type of malfunction before. They sold us a higher quality knob at a discounted price, installed it for free and we have not had any issues. The whole process cost us about $300, and it still seems very strange that our perfectly good knob stops working, and then the new knob stops working...but, they remained friendly and professional throughout the experience. read more

I called Mike to see if he could fix a broken lock on my garage door. He was extremely easy to communicate with and very punctual. He was unable to get the door open, as it turned out the lock wasn't the issue. It was a broken cable on the inside of the door. He referred me to a garage door repair person who was able to get the door open and working properly. OK, I am writing this for my neighbor. They knocked on my door at 5:30am today; they had locked themselves out of their house and their movers were coming at 8am! Panic. They came in and we googled locksmiths. Oddly, many were 24/7 but were closed Saturday, and of course it was Saturday. Tried to work with 3 locksmiths, and got either no-response or a run around.
