Do you like fresh stone crabs? Do you like the ambiance of a seafood shack on the water? Do you like fair prices for top quality food? Then City Seafood is for you. Don't come here if you don't want to wait a bit... or want some sort of phoofy elegance... or so sensitive to fast customer service that you have to leave a low star review. These guys are turning out hundreds of plates in a day. I can imagine whoever left a 1 star for that probably waited in line, got to the register and didn't know what they wanted. Get your act together... and maybe not be so thin skinned and self centric. I can't believe someone would leave a 1 star because they had to wait in line. Next time I'm in the area I will most definitely be back for some of the best stone crabs on the water I've ever had... and would be more than proud to bring friends. Reminds me of the shacks I grew up with on Cape Cod or in Maine. Enjoy!

Hidden gem spot- a little out of the beaten path but if you are going to the Everglades stop here. Very fresh and very delicious. Beautiful location right on the water and numerous seafood options. Enjoyed conch, fried calamari, fries, Oo boy, hater and fish. Pretty decent portions and quick service. Recommend - very fresh

I have eaten here many times over the years and can't believe I have not posted a review! I will make this short and sweet. It is wonderfully casual, fast service, consistent food and fantastic ambiance. It is not fancy at all which I appreciate but it is damn good! Dog friendly - try to sit right by the water for full entertainment viewing needle fish and other sea life plus all the many airboats passing by.

This is one of our favorite places during crab claw season. It's a very casual place, on the water. All the food is fresh. Crab claws are fresh and you will see a lot of people coming with big coolers to buy the claws to sell in the Miami restaurants. Counter help is not friendly and sometimes even rude. For that reason I can't do 5 stars.

I absolutely love this place! We road trip over from Miami just to come here. The stone crabs have gone up in price since my last time I was there, but still great as always! Wish I took more pictures of the food, but we were so hungry after our long car ride. Our favorite were the stone crabs and alligator bites! Honorable mention for the shrimp basket and frog legs. Their sauces, especially their yum yum sauce, were an amazing addition to their food. Also got to see Dolphins so that was cool!!

So overrated. We'll give it another try in stone crab season, but this is a hard pass for food in the off season.

Divey place to get some fresh seafood. You order inside and then they call your number and pick out up from the side window. There are cold beers, sodas, hard seltzer, and wine that you grab from the cooler. It's nice to sit and chill and watch the airboats go by. We ordered a pound of large Stone Crabs ( mustard sauce is extra) and at $30 per pound it was a very good deal. They were sweet and tender. The mustard sauce is a bit too sweet for my taste but it did the job. We also ordered a fried shrimp and cracked conch basket with fries. The fish was fresh and lightly battered and the fries were good. All the food comes out hot! Other friends got a fish wrap and a scallop wrap and really enjoyed them too. Definitely a great place to stop in if you are in Everglades City.

Absolutely love this place! Never disappoints and yesterday was no different! Besides the claws we had fresh shrimp, gator bites, and frog legs! Love supporting a local business! A must when in the area!!

It is a casual seafood restaurant located on the Barron River which connects to the Gulf. There are a few parking spaces in front otherwise it's free street parking where you can find it. There is a school across the street so parking can fill quickly. Most of the seating area is outside so you enter and then find an empty table. Menus are on the table and then a server arrives and takes your order. If the weather is right sitting next to the water is a nice calming experience. I sat in a screen enclosed covered patio. My order was for the fried grouper sandwich with french fries and cole slaw for $27. Yes grouper is expensive. The meal arrived about 10 minutes later. The fried fish fillet sitting in on the long bun was HUGE and it looked delicious too. I was very happy and then I started to eat it. Everything with that sandwich was excellent except its taste. It was the batter for me. The taste wasn't bad at all but it didn't stand out to me. Whatever batter they use to fry with is not my favorite and that is the only reason I don't give a 4 score here. The french fries were excellent in taste and showed me that Triad's puts effort in making them. Also the slaw was cool and a nice palate cleanser. The table service was friendly and attentive. I like Triad's and would be happy to return. But I would probably try something else on the menu that isn't fried. The batter taste is my opinion and I'm sure others will disagree. Another fact about eating here is that they charge 3.5% more for credit cards use. With an iced tea, tax and tip, my lunch cost $40...kind of expensive for Everglades City, FL.

Island Cafe had several cars parked in front so I thought that was a good sign. This is a table service restaurant and I ordered the fried scallop dinner with a loaded baked potato and salad for $25. Then entree arrived about 15 minutes later. The salad had a little cheese on top of the greens with ranch dressing on the side. It was a good salad. The seafood came with several fried scallops and a couple of hush puppies along with a small ear of corn and the baked potato. What was missing was the cheese and bacon for the potato. The waitress disappeared so I wasn't able to get the missing bacon and cheese and had to make do with some butter for the tater. This was disappointing. The scallops were decent in taste but I couldn't get anymore cocktail sauce because of the missing waitress. This meal was substandard and I felt underwhelmed by the entire experience. The food was ok in taste but it didn't stand out to me and the table service was non existent. Perhaps Island Cafe is better than this but giving a 3 score is generous in my opinion.

Andres, our server, was attentive, knowledgeable and kind. Honestly, he was the main reason we decided to stay and have a proper dinner, not because he pushed us, but because he explained everything with such detail and found options for me (allergic to shellfish and everything that swims) and my husband, who is a vegan. We ended up having the veggie platter and the chicken platter- that chicken breast was delicious, so tender and juicy. The black beans and rice with maduritos were heavenly and the homemade tres leches...gosh! Andres told us that his father, Captain Morgan, was the chef and owner, that his mother helped cooked, and that his uncle helped. They all came to the table, and gave us so many tips on what to do in the area. The restaurant was immaculately clean and with a great temperature given the heat.
