My first VC time here... easy to get to, a nice facility, parking is a bit messy (things are under construction) but over all a nice spot. Came here for a nursery event. We were presenting our branded line of plants, Portfolio, to a bunch of professional landscapers. Turn out was good... the event space was more than adequate and it all went rather smoothly! A sprawling state-of-the-art event space - exhibit halls, tech centric meeting rooms & lavish ballrooms. The self-parking spaces are conveniently divided across three decks (Red, Green, and Blue) with dedicated access points to the venue. I didn't stay at the hotel on property but was only here for an event. So my review will be very skewed and limited as far as an is it in depths review may go. There seems to be multiple parking garages spread out around the property as you circle. Walking in can actually be confusing so I don't find a clear direction as to which way I'm supposed to go to the main building. It's not a big deal Bixby because I just followed the guy that was unpacked all of his stuff for the convention. I've been coming here for 3 years in a row. I come during the month of July for an amazing event called Southern fried game an expo. If it's July or you live in the area and you're reading this review save the date for SFGX. The main area that I was in was the arcade floor. It's a large bear concrete areaDoes very good for the convention while I'm. There's a really nice little smoking area, where everybody sits under the trees. I wish they didn't charge so much for parking. Being somebody coming from out of town exclusively Florida the parking price was pretty crazy and shocking to me for 3 days. I'm actually so cheap, That I parked across the street in the bagel parking lot And then cross the main highway to get back to the show. The parking systems also Ignorantbecause pain at the stupid little kiosks is artillery frustrating and finding the right one at the right time. If you think you're being smart and pay when you first walk in you're in for surprise when you leave and the gate doesn't open because you were there for a longer amount of time. I believe some people call this place dated in appearance but I really can't see anything too wrong with. The most stated thing all the empty stores in the underground mall. This is a great location for the game EXPO. read more

I've been here several times for trade shows or events. It's kind of a strange setup, in my opinion. There are very unique shops and a few restaurants. The location is great, right across from Cumberland Mall. Very close to 285 and 75. There used to be a good amount of parking right out front, but I think they charge for it now. There is a parking structure both on the property and directly across the street which is helpful. I do recommend following them on social media, because there are some good events there like bridal shows and other things. The staff is super friendly, and the bathrooms are extremely clean. I attended a RV show in Atlanta this past weekend, which was hosted by Cobb Galleria. Parking was easy and free if you park under 2hrs, over the time cost is $5.00 for the whole day. Lots of law enforcement so I felt somewhat felt safe. There is so much crime in this world you really are not safe anywhere. Stay alert especially at malls and large parking areas, Ive known people to get there cars stole here. Cost of RV event was $10/ $8 military members. The event was organized, and they give a map as you enter. They didn't offer any RV classes for future RV owners. The RV event in Greenville SC was better and actually offered more for future buyers. Lots of RVs and some giveaways at some of the vendors. I did see some concession stands in the front. The bathrooms were clean and easily assessable. The RV event in Greenville was more organized and had more to offer for the fee. I didn't go into the Galleria this time, but it used to be a very nice shopping experience. read more

The Galleria is pretty simple to navigate and is a great multipurpose space for events. They sometimes host multiple events at once so the only confusing thing is making sure you know where to find your event. There are a few different parking decks, the deck right next to the galleria center can fill up fast and may take a while to exit when many people are leaving an event at once. It may be beneficial to park at another deck so it's easier to get in and out. There's also places to eat around here. Fyi I havent used the restroom in here so idk if they're nice/well kept. Restrooms are def a make or break criteria of evaluating event spaces. read more

If I could give this venue and the event company a -5 stars I would... Strap up! So I was apart of the "Casted Audience" for the 2021 BET HIP HOP Awards which was held at the Cobb Galleria. I completely understand that the Galleria can't control everything that goes on at an event but I honestly feel like this particular event was poorly planned and poorly managed given the things that took place prior to the main event. For starters, we were asked to arrive at 2PM and entered in the garage that's across the street. There was a formal/awards style dress code that was strictly enforced but It was also every bit of 75-80 degrees if not hotter. We were held in the garage while the program was being rehearsed until 6 FREAKING O'CLOCK!!! Could you imagine being held in a hot ass garage, NO SEATING, in heels, make up, tuxes and all get up for FOUR HOURS IN SUMMERS HEAT WITH NO PRIOR DISCLOSURE!!! It was a mess so naturally people got irritable and ended up fighting! Because we were in these lines with barricades in the garage, as the fight broke out the barricades fell and their hallow make up resembled loud popping on the concrete which for the folks next to the chaos, freaked them out and sent them running. However, for the people at the end/back of the line the fight took place in (like myself) we got trampled and stepped on by the stampede coming our way to escape. Luckily, I made it out with minor scrapes and bruises from falling but the people next to me did NOT! A man lost his TWO FRONT TEETH and had blood all over his tux, multiple women had their wigs and weaves on the ground, a another lady actually broke her foot and several folks had to leave in ambulances! IT WAS A HOT FREAKING MESSSS!!!! What did the event staff do... Absolutely nothing, what did the venue do... again, absolutely nothing. They bandaged folks up and sent us in this damn awards like mf Humpty Dumpty and still allowed the people who were fighting to enter and to participate after they caused all this chaos. I thought that was so inconsiderate to the rest of the innocent bystanders who now have scars from what we thought was just going to be a fun event to support and celebrate black hip hip! I feel like the event staff didn't give two f*cks about the people present and that all they were concerned about was tapping this wack a** awards which wasn't even worth it in the end. Out of all the acts the best one was Tobe and Fat preforming FYE FYE! All in all, I would not be attending another BET event nor any event hosted at the galleria! read more

I attended two events here this past weekend! One was a dance competition, the other was Dessert Wars Atlanta. Before this weekend, I've never been here! In the five years I've lived in Atlanta, out of all of the trade shows I've worked on, I've never had a reason to visit the Cobb Galleria. It's nice! It's big and spacious, and especially good for social distancing. There is a sort of mall downstairs, but I stayed upstairs in the event spaces for the most part. It's clean and very basic convention hall stuff. It's easy to get around, for the most part. The halls are marked in alphabetical order. I think there are 3 smaller halls, which all open up into one major hall. The location is pretty great, in terms of the stuff around it. I was confused both times by parking - my GPS took me right to the loading dock. Oops! read more

Cobb Galleria is on its way to an early recovery. In the last several years, the Galleria has taken on a run-down appearance with empty stores, elevators which went unserviced/unrepaired. We were back for the 2018 Great American Motorcycle show this weekend and the crowd was out, food court Restaurants were busy and parking was full. It had been several years since I had seen those kinds of crowds at the Galleria - and they were welcomed by the Galleria staff and parking attendants. They still have a long way to go - and I wish them success. read more

Was at the Galleria this week for the GOSSLP convention. The rooms were immaculate, parking was easy, food and beverage service was on time and good. The coffee was SLAMMING! Bathrooms were very clean although the toilets were freakishly low to the ground. The temps in the meeting rooms were chill which works just fine for me, and facilities/management adjusted it for the occupants comfort. Saw them setting up for a trade show on the way out and even that was cool. Overall for an older meeting venue the Galleria stands up well. Discovered there is a bridge from Cumberland Mall to the Galleria and another from the Galleria to the Suntrust Park so that was a very cool discovery. I can visualize myself hosting my own conference at this venue. I like the whole vibe. read more

I can describe the Galleria as a small shopping center, but it's actually pretty nice. There's a food court too where you can find some options like Chinese food or subway. This place is super clean, and I really liked the architecture and decoration. The night I was there the escalators were broken. It was a pain at some point since we had to go all around the venue to go downstairs, but everything else was ok. I've been to 3 events over the years held here. (I vaguely remember a fourth but I can't confirm that for sure.) I've always thought the staff and organizers always seem to do a fantastic job coordinating the logistics of even the most minor details. From the parking lot (they always have extra people directing traffic during events) to great signage for people like me that have no sense of direction. Their signs tell you where to park-where to go and not to talk to strangers-I've never had any problems with attending any of the events here... To get here is pretty easy: If you're coming from downtown: 1. Take I-75 N. Follow signs for Marietta/Chattanooga. 2. Exit 258 for Cumberland Blvd SE. 3. Make a right at Cumberland Blvd SE. 4. ATLANTA HOME SHOW! The Galleria Centre is a really nice events space. It is very open, clean and attractive and always appropriately staffed. You are able to park free for two hours and it will only cost $5 for the entire day. That's a steal! The Centre hosts the Atlanta Home Show every spring and fall and we decided to attend this year. This annual show runs three days from Friday through Sunday. We normally enjoy going on Saturday but since it's festival season, we had to move our visit to Sunday. If you want to save money on the price of admission, just sign up for their e-mails and wait until the last minute when they start trying desperately to get your attention. Once it gets down to 50% off, pounce and purchase your tickets in advance. This will also help you avoid those long ticket lines. We actually visited the show because we were interested in landscaping and kitchen renovation ideas. When it came to landscaping, the options were very limited because there was a lot of replication and nothing truly innovative. I wanted to see more than the same brick used in the same way, boring! ***If you are a landscaper presenting at a show, please bring your full arsenal because homeowners are rarely just looking to have a wall built. They want to know if you can address drainage issues, complete grading, add a patio, even a fence. We need comprehensive services because we don't want to have to hire multiple companies to complete the job. Now, I do not expect you to bring a model or replica of various projects but before and after photos are priceless and can definitely tip that scale in your favor. So, I am looking to remodel my kitchen and wanted to explore organizational options. The national company known for innovative design and helping you organize your kitchen space totally dropped the ball. They came with their pointless builder basic options, (the ones that we are all trying to replace), and just totally failed. The Art of Drawers, a new company who provides custom designs and can help you adjust those awkward corners, virtually drop kicked the Rev-A-Shelf vendors out of the door. Boom!! No competition! The Art of Drawers reps were very helpful with answering our questions and offering solutions for our storage questions. They had a very nice and functional display. Good job! Home Depot had a great presence at the show because they literally had a "well-staffed" WING that showcased their home improvement services including windows, cabinets and more. They even had a children's activity center where the kids were working on projects. I love Home Depot for hardware and home accents and I actually used them to install a storm door. I was hesitant at first, (because I don't like using sub-contractors), but they did a great job and I had no issues. Every vendor has information that you can take with you. I always take cards and info so that I can do some research and get additional information. This is how I have been able to actually find a couple of my service providers. I just really enjoy walking through and talking to the vendors because they have plenty of swag and treats. Some people are there just to get you to sign up for drawings or services. Don't do it because you will probably get bombarded with solicitous e-mails. Also, if you are really wanting services, you will need time to make an informed decision. Tread carefully. In addition to vendors selling wares and services, you will also see cooking demonstrations, interactive demos, (chair massage), and special presentations by Walter Reeves and Ty Pennington. The Cobb Galleria Centre is a large event space and convention center conveniently located near the Cobb Cloverleaf, the meeting point of I-75, I-285, and US 41 in northwest Atlanta. I've been a regular visitor to Cobb Galleria since 2008 as an attendee at the annual Anime Weekend Atlanta (AWA) convention. The convention is held at both the Cobb Galleria and the hotel directly attached next door, the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly. Over the years, the convention has gotten bigger. In recent years, paid attendance reached upwards of 13,000-14,000 people. Since paid memberships aren't mandatory for access to the general areas of the Galleria, this means the convention center handles crowds even bigger than 13,000-14,000 during AWA weekend. I think the Cobb Galleria Centre has done a fine job hosting AWA each year. The convention space is functional, looks nice, and is naturally well-lit in some areas. The center has two levels. The first level mainly consists of Galleria Specialty Shops, which is a small shopping mall that has a food court. The second level is where all the event space is located. There are 4 exhibition halls, 2 ballrooms, and 20+ "smaller" meeting/conference rooms. The exhibition halls (144,000 square feet combined) and ballrooms (25,000 square feet combined) are huge. For AWA, the total exhibition hall space is divided in half. Exhibition Halls A and B are used for the Artists Alley and Exhibition Halls C and D are used for the Dealers Room. Beginning in 2013, food trucks set up inside at the back of the Artists Alley. There is enough space along the back wall for 4 full-sized food trucks to operate, making a makeshift indoor food truck park. I think it's neat the center is able to accommodate large vehicles and equipment, such as food trucks, indoors. You don't see that at every convention. The ballroom space is used for music concerts and the annual formal ball. The meeting rooms are used mainly for panels. The restrooms are clean. There's a convenient, covered, pedestrian access bridge to Cumberland Mall and the Sheraton Suites Galleria across the street. Best of all, parking at the Galleria is plentiful and free in one of the property's two parking decks. read more

Great Staff, Fun activities. The food has always been good at the buffet. The parking was free at the events I attended. They host what I heard is the largest footwear event in the nation. I enjoy those seminars and the evening entertainment. I think some of the vendors just come there to have a good time. Because, I caught a few of them getting drunk while working. read more

This is an interesting venue as I only find myself here once a year.... well for the past couple of years for AWA. The Galleria is large and spacious and can be quite the workout when you keep walking around to attend events. The anime convention has grown so much that it takes over pretty much the entire Galleria and most of the connecting hotel. I like walking around here late at night when no one is in the hall. The Galleria does close its doors late at night during the weekend long convention, so if you find yourself to be locked out, you either have to try to find an open mall door, or enter on the other side through the hotel. The event areas are kept pretty clean, the hallway during the convention is constantly being monitored and tidied as best as it can be with bodies sitting, laying, and roaming everywhere. There are restrooms everywhere which is great with so many people milling about. There's also vending machines to be found hidden in corners by phones and said restrooms. The only drawback for the Galleria during such a large convention, is when the escalator breaks... but walking never hurt anyone... well unless you're in a super heavy, hot cosplay outfit and stairs seem like torture.... But other than that... I know the layout of the convention center so well I just run around and around zipping through the crowd. I may not come here often, but for about one weekend out of the year this place is the bees knees... There is usually plenty of parking until everyone shows up for the convention. But a bridge connects you to the mall across the street if you have to park over there. And there's secret tunnel parking in the other parking deck across the street from the entrance of the Galleria... but it's a secret so I won't say anymore... Other than that it's a cool place so I'm a fan... why wouldn't I be when they house my favorite anime convention in Atlanta. read more

For years this has been the preferred space of the Atlanta Apartment Association for the site of their dinner meetings, trade show, and some training classes. This is really one of the best convention spaces in Atlanta. Easy access to I-75 & I-285, ample parking with planned traffic patterns (helpful when entering and exiting), comfortable meeting spaces, and fairly decent food and beverage service. Yesterday the AAA hosted a small trade show, happy hour, a dinner meeting for about 500, and a party afterward. All the events were able to go on at the site. For those that didn't want to stay at the party, Jock's and Jill's was across the hall to provide relief. WOO HOO! read more

This place is ginormous. Cobb County is definitely on its way to competing with Fulton and Dekalb and that is a good thing for Atlanta Metro. I was here for CrowdfundingUSA, the nations largest Crowdfunding expo and was able to meet Brian Kemp. It's a good space. Well done, Cobb. NOW CAN WE GET A MARTA RAIL PLEASE. I attended a private event here. The venue is nice. Somewhat dated. The acoustics were not great in the banquet area of the event I attended. It was difficult to hear the speakers and I didn't feel that I was seated far from the stage. We could also hear a lot of random and loud sounds coming from the event next to us. The food was awesome! One of the best "conference center" meals I've had in a while. The wait staff was friendly. My only con for this place is the parking. Parking is available; however the parking staff was an issue. It was difficult to determine who was an official parking attendant. People appeared to be giving money to various men standing throughout the deck who looked like they were directing cars out of the lot, but no one had any official uniform or badge on. read more

My first (and only) experience of Cobb Galleria Centre was to attend the International Motorcycle Show being hosted there this past weekend. Apparently it had been a few years since the last show visited At;anta, so my boyfriend was keen to go again (huge, huge sport bike fan). The show started officially on Friday but we went of Saturday with another motorcycle enthusiast friend and his 3-year-old son too. Being that we were going with a youngster, (in my limited experience they tend to do better in the mornings) we decided to head out early for the show and arrived a little before 11 AM. While the parking lot around the Galleria was packed, the floor show crowds inside were quite manageable at that point. The biggest line all morning was for people waiting in line to scan QR codes they'd been given to win a prize at the Progressive booth. The show was hosted in a giant convention room in Cobb Galleria and all the major players in the bike world were represented plus accessories, insurance, and more. Kawasaki, Honda, Ducati, Harley Davidson (which had the largest amount of floor space unsurprisingly), Yamaha, Aprilia (it had a tiny tent, but it was there) and more brands were represented and showing off their most beautiful new models. Along with the bike brands, Geico and Progressive both had a strong presence, Shoei helmets were on display, Alpinestar gear was out in all its glory and MotoGP had a special section where actual riders bikes were on display with a backdrop of a track so you felt *almost* as if you were there. Especially since a track girl complete with umbrella was available for pictures for all the fanboys... According to my entourage this show wasn't as large or bustling as the previous one in hosted in Atlanta, but we did kill a couple of hours oohing and aahing, ran in to some acquaintances from the local Ducati club and I had a good time. I'm still quite new to the world of motorcycles (though being educated quickly, especially about sport bikes and MotoGP), and I really enjoyed seeing some of the smaller model bikes like the newer Kawasaki Ninjas and Hondas that might be a good fit for myself were I ever to invest in one. Came here for a Salesforce World Tour event - much smaller than most events but it is conveniently located above a small mall with not much. It seems to be very quiet and not many selections to call this a mall, but it has a large parking lot which is nice.
