Went for trivia. The bar and events are chill but food and drinks are average. Parking is in the lot

A pretty solid spot. I enjoyed the two IPA's I had. I think I caught them on an in between day because I had heard they had a pretty extensive list and it was a little short on the day I visited. I would come back again to try a few different styles. They're connected with a great fried chicken restaurant that was really good, and the servers were cool. I liked the overall theme and vibe of the bar, definitely a cool brewery worth checking out.

Whether you're new to craft beer or a seasoned connoisseur, you'll be impressed by the diverse selection and quality of brews they offer. We had the pleasure of attending a creators' meet-up hosted by Mutation Brewery in Sandy Springs. Put together by It's always a great time connecting with like-minded creators, sharing insights, and catching up on each other's work. They also specialize in hosting private events, making them a great choice for your next gathering. If treating your friends to exceptional craft beer sounds like your kind of celebration, Mutation Brewery is the place to be!

Had an amazing time working with Mutation Brewing to host my 10 year high school reunion for a local Sandy Springs high school. Thank you so much to Chris and the team at Mutation for being so friendly and helpful during the planning/booking and event duration. While I don't live in the area anymore, Chris was super helpful at sending over diagrams and jumping on the phone with me to discuss the venue layout, pricing, and additional add ons. They are very accustomed to hosting private events here and the space is very nice including both indoor, outdoor, and games like pong tables. When you rent the space you are free to decorate it however you like and we did a capped open bar which worked out perfectly for our group. Everyone had a great time and they are also dog friendly! Thank you!

Solid beer in a very suburbia location. Variety of beers that should meet any palate. Bartender wasn't particularly friendly, seeming to focus on one person rather than the rest of the customers.

We had a great time at Mutation! We weren't aware that it was the third anniversary party, so finding a table was tough, but that's totally on us. The beer was good (and the names were fun - my husband's double hazy IPA was called Sharks with Lasers). I got a HUGE stein of Teddy Brewsevelt, a lager, and it was relatively inexpensive. The food was pretty good too - I got chips, queso, and salsa, and my husband got a burger. The fries are crinkle-cut and deliciously seasoned (think Zaxby's fries when they do it the right way). Service was slow, but that's to be expected on a super busy day. I do wish our server had remembered to bring our boxes when we told them we were in a huge hurry. Next time, we'll try to come on a slower day so we can take advantage of the fun swing seats.

My partner is a sucker for local breweries so I accompanied him as his plus one. It seems like there are a lot more local breweries per capita than in LA. The 99x beer on tap was crisp and delicious. We ordered the chips with queso and salsa which were lackluster. The casual vibe and friendly staff made up for it though. We will be back to try their burgers and hard seltzer.

Dropped in here for the 99x event. Fairly new brewery (pretty sure this place was a Tsunami Taqueria before) but in a very busy spot on Roswell Road, right off 285. There is lots of parking and they are dog friendly. Atmosphere and ambiance here is fantastic. They have plenty of side rooms with games and patios and upstairs patios and a speak easy. They also have swings to sit in. Probably my favorite set-up of any brewery I've been to. It was insanely crowded as the day went on. Lead singer of Cracker was on hand to play some of their hits. We had the Buffalo chicken dip and big ass pretzel. Both ok. It took over an hour and a half to get the food. Apparently too many people ordering on their app crashes it. They did comp the food for us. The beer I had was the blonde, 99x experiment and the green apple seltzer. The 99x one was my fave. The blonde was not what I was expecting and tasted more like an ipa. I'm not a big fan of seltzer, as is, and this one was just meh. Will prob need to go back and try other beers, as the lines just got crazy long. Overall, a fun way to spend the day! Would like to explore all the other rooms.

I visited MBC for a birthday gathering for my good friend. This place is right off of 285 in Sandy Springs. The Parking: They have a parking lot with free parking. The Atmosphere: It's basically a nice bar with food. They have a lot of free games to play while you drink. They also have three arcade games that requires quarters to play. The Service: Everyone here was nice! The Food: The food here is really good. I had the Hot or Not Chicken Sandwich with waffle fries and onion rings! BUSSIN! I don't drink alcohol, so I can't speak on the beers but everyone seemed to enjoy them. Overall, this place is FAR from where I live, but I hope they last because I want to come back!

Came here because my friend was participating in a hot wing challenge. This was my first time although I've driven past many times. I was impressed as far as breweries go. They have plenty of parking, lots of board games, several events throughout the month and lots of space inside. I didnt eat or drink on this visit but I look forward to coming back and trying the food.

Fun place to visit! Great drinks and great vibes. The owner is such a ball of energy and created a fun environment. They offer boozy slushies, water pong tournaments, and food. The slush and peanut butter beer was most memorable drinks. It can get crowded but generally everyone was pretty nice.

Mutation brewing is a hidden gem that has fun for everyone. The inside is larger than expected when looking in from the outside. You can eat a variety of foods from the menu. I had the chicken tenders and fries which were freshly cooked. The tenders were very soft and juicy. The server was the actual restaurant owner. He was very welcoming. He is a very humble person who provides an enormous amount of hospitality. The staff is also very nice. This experience really makes you want to keep coming back.

This year the drinks were blah, the food was mediocre, the vibe was non-existent, and the service was the bare minimal. I have been to other pop-ups this year and would recommend any of them over this include Rreal Taco down the street or Hamp & Harry's or even just picking up the Grinch Happy Meal at McDonald's. Pros: Parking onsite, Reservations (sort of), friendly host (best part of the experience) and server (but absent), nice decorations. Cons: Expensive, boring drinks, overcooked and poorly plated food, not a lively nor festive vibe, poor communication and customer service. Even though this is the only pop-up pre-charging for their event and it was significantly more than a year ago, we liked having a booked time and it was a great experience previously so we booked in early November, but within an hour of booking, we had to adjust the time via OpenTable to a couple hours later. Faster forward to two days before our booking. Confirmations comes in and we notice it is the old time. Called, left messages, send messages through multiple means. Zero response. Called the next day and finally reached the manager who said that the time we wanted wasn't available even though it was the day before so took a later option at 730. Arrive on time but they don't have a table. While waiting they seat us in another area and offer extras since they are late...but they bring chips and salsa 30 mins after 730 when we were supposed to be seat 10-15 mins after we arrive. No waters or anything. Bring complementary margaritas at 810 but only 4 and there are 6 of us. The waitress was dismissive and there was no one else in the bar when we got there. Finally seated at 830 even though they are timed reservations and said they were going to be asking people to wrap within 15 mins of 730. Food was so basic and slapped on the table. Drinks were not festive at all. Ran out of hot chocolate. No festive cups or anything. It was the most mediocre experience I have had. Skip it!

I came here on a work trip so there was a LOT going on: food buffets, bar mania, games of all sorts. Had I come here with a group of friends to play games and sip on a drink I think I would have had a different (read: better) experience. That said, I appreciate that B&B exists and what it's trying to do. Despite being here as part of a big group, the staff was perfectly lovely and patient. That's not always the case when it comes to dealing with large groups. The food menu is confusingly large and caters to about every taste.* I got a little grossed out at the thought of eating around so much dust. Board games and consoles are dirty/dusty. They show both easily. Eating around/in that didn't appeal to me. What *did* appeal to me, though, was the thought of drinking a potion. From the glass (straight up D&D) to the color (blue), I was all in. The Mana Potion had a lot of the right elements (gin, blue curacao, elderflower liqueur, lemon, and Sprite) but the extra zhuzh for our party was team too much. The edible glitter made the drink a bit thick and didn't do wonders for my stomach. It's a tough criticism because I was here for an extra sparkly drink/potion. Definitely on brand. For me, Battle & Brew is an odd space that could benefit from some editing. But, it looks like I am in the minority. I can agree with not being the target audience. So, gamers, have at it! *I didn't experience much in the way of GF/DF/VG options but, again, target audience.

I was truly excited to try this place because it is such a cool concept. Went yesterday for dinner…read morewith my husband, daughter, and my friend and her daughter. We opted for the board games for $7 so that we could play together at the table while we ate, which is a great idea in theory but the execution left a lot to be desired. Most of the games we tried to play were old, dirty (yuck), and incomplete. For example, we were unable to play Guess Who because both the red and blue lineups were missing people and many of the people cards were torn into pieces. We were able to play What Do You Meme, but it was obvious that most of the meme cards were missing, so we had to stop abruptly when we ran out of new cards. Since people are eating and playing, effort should be made to keep the games clean, or at the very least, provide hand sanitizer at each table so that guests aren't grossed out about handling dirty game pieces in between grabbing bites of their sandwich or other finger food. I just feel like even though $7 for board game play is reasonable, it felt far less justifiable after experiencing the issues I just explained. If you are going to charge people any amount to use the games, ensuring that those games are complete and sanitary seems like a reasonable expectation. Service was okay but most of the food did not even meet the okay standard. We started with mozerrela sticks, which were okay. The fries with all our meals were obviously the frozen bagged kind you can find at any grocery store. They added seasoning but it's not enough to hide the fact that you are eating frozen fries at a sit down restaurant. My husband ordered the Don't Call It Hotlanta chicken sandwich and I think that was probably the best tasting thing we all ordered. I ordered the ATLA with cheese and did not like it very much. The bread was too crispy, the cheese was cold, and the overall flavor just didn't do it for me. My daughter ordered the mac and cheese with a side of fries. It does say on the menu that it is Kraft mac and cheese. She didn't complain, but she's 12 and not too picky so no surprise there. I had a soda water, my daughter had a sprite, and my husband had two mixed drinks (I think margaritas). Our total bill including the $7 for a crappy board game experience came out to $94 before tip. It was not worth it and I would never return for dinner nor can I recommend that others consider this a worthy dinner spot. Nevertheless, it would be a cool spot to come to with a big group of friends to play the computer and video games while enjoying a few drinks and maybe an appetizer or two. I could see that being a fun experience and would be open to returning to play the video games with friends or maybe one of their event nights like trivia that sounds like a good time, but I won't come back specifically for dinner because there are far better place to get a far superior meal for that price around here. So, at the end of the day, two stars is my review for the dinner and board game experience, but it would probably be closer to a 4 for just video games and drinks or events because I don't think there is anything else like it around here. I am not 100% on pricing for the video games but I think I saw something like $20 per hour, which I think might be a little pricey. However, I am not a big gamer myself so I may not be the best judge of that.

I opted to park at the Wal-Mart and wasn't as familiar with the trail so I took the street route. Well-light and populated for safe crossing. The venue is very open and was relatively empty since we arrived shortly after it opened. I love the indoor seating concept with plenty of couches, movable chairs, tables near the open-area space and smaller sections for 2-4 people tucked away along the wall. The DJ was already doing his thing and the bartenders remained busy. As someone who wasn't interested in the drinks, I appreciate that there was a self-serve water cooler in the center of the room. The Jenga and jumbo Uno cards were a hit!!!! It was so nice to have these options available. And as others mentioned, the large screen was playing a classic movie - which we could still see from inside. I didn't stay long and this was a Sunday night but the parking lot was much busier when I left. I imagine the outdoor space gets crowded later in the evening as well. The DJ was just okay - not my cup of tea - but folks seemed to be enjoying themselves. I can definitely see why this place is popular. Although parking is less than desirable, it is not unreasonable. The venue is well-lit and easy to move around. The crowd was diverse, with various ages and backgrounds represented. And depending on the DJ, this would be a great place for meeting with friends, date night or just zoning out to some wonderful music ... especially on a beautiful night. If you're in the mood for something different AND don't mind the trek to Chamblee, check it out.

All I tasted and saw was the tilapia. Service wasn't bad. Either my waitress was tired or just didn't have a bubbly personality. I waited a bit and when no one approached me, I had to make strong eye contact like I am ready to order then she came to me and said "what will you have?" No introduction or welcome greeting. Not rude but not welcoming either if that makes sense. I sat at the bar in the available seat but it's right by the kitchen door and my back was to the main area. I ordered water with ice, was brought a 500mL Fiji water bottle and a styrofoam cup of ice. I am surprised they don't serve liquor. Everything is served in to go containers with plastic ware. 20% gratuity is automatically added, yes even for party of one. Music was good. Loud, like "come close so I can talk in your ear" loud but not "let me find my ear plugs" loud. They played Lil' Baby (think Freestyle and We Paid), Hunxho, Big Boogie, some of those popular TikTok songs, and then the DJ switched it up with some Shawty Lo and Young Dolph. When you first walk in you're surrounded by sections and I think one or two high tables in the center, then if you keep going the bar is on the left and a few more tables in the back. But those tables in the back kind of seems deserted and if the place is empty you could possibly be overlooked. I thought about sitting there but I felt like no one would come to serve me.
