I bought a 3 inch Korky toilet flapper for $17 for a Mansfield. It snaps on to the front, but a…read morevery small plastic piece broke off. I did not understand how the black rubber replacement piece fit on...but Korky Co. places a rubber connector to adjust size and probably when that plastic piece breaks off which the flapper swings from. I decided to go back and ask for a replacement flapper since the box says 5-year warranty. I explained to the guy I tried to put the flapper on carefully but the plastic piece broke off not knowing what the black rubber piece was for in the box or knowing how to use it. I asked why Leeps would not just give me a replacement since there is a 5-year warranty on the box. Shady, isn't it?? He was doing something else on his computer and seemingly did not want to be bothered. BTW.....It was 430pm and I was the only person in the store. I replied..."I didn't want to offend you by lying. I was respectfully being truthful with him because I've always been a loyal customer." I even asked him...."so are you saying I have to touch base with the Wisconsin based company to get a replacement?" He didn't respond. He looked stunned...because I questioned him. I then took a pass on buying the other flapper, left the store, and told him.....I'm going to light it up online. Hence this post. If you read this far........I used to work there in 1991 after college.........probably before he was born. My first impression was good - the shop was pleasant - clean and organized, and Mike, the owner, was very businesslike yet personable. He gave me a written quote which I thought was a fair price, we agreed to the time-line and I delivered the fabric and the first two chairs the next morning. I returned to La Porte 3 weeks later and the first 2 chairs were finished as promised. Over the course of the next few days he delivered the remaining five chairs, somewhat earlier than expected as he was working overtime to accommodate my travel schedule. The work is excellent as was the customer service from beginning to end. And, as importantly, my mother is pleased to have the project finished. I highly recommend M & R Custom Upholstery.

I had a deadline and I had very specific requirements around quality of workmanship. I was very happy with the end result of all of the items on the job, and they were done on time. Dan is the most responsive contractor I've ever worked with and his main goal is making you happy. He is super flexible with changes to the job and he is good at keeping track of how these changes will effect the cost. He will answer calls and texts any hour of the day. His crew is courteous and respectful as well and it was a pleasure working with them.

I met with Dan back on March 5th at my house to walk through the project and get a bid. After 5 weeks of texts and emails including that I wanted the work to be done in late April up to mid May, I was told his team is now booked until July. However, this was never mentioned to me in the past weeks that I had been asking for the bid and to pay a deposit to lock in the work. This is the first negative review I've ever left online but that's how disappointed and strung along I feel by Healy Landscaping and I would encourage you take caution before working with them --- just know that patience and extended timelines should be expected.
