Our family has had a wonderful experience with Dr. Snyder and her entire office. She sees my daughters, my husband, and me, and every visit has been pain-free and positive. We've had frequent fillings, deep cleanings, regular cleanings, and every experience has been excellent. Pricing is fair, and everyone is so personable and kind. We were longtime patients of Dr. Abeyta, so I was nervous about the transition, but Dr. Snyder has been amazing. Another update. This dental office is now operated by Dr. Snyder. So far, same excellent service and quality work. It is more expensive than some, but the quality work is worth it. I have been a patient of Dr. Laura Snyder for over a year. She and her staff have been consistently friendly and professional, but what is more, they strive to get you into the office quickly in case of a dental mishap. I am prone to these. For instance, I broke a bottom, pre-molar by eating a semi-frozen chocolate candy (not the first time; I'm a slow learner). They got me in the next day and I had a crown soon after. It fits and looks better than the original tooth and hopefully won't disintegrate the next time I head for the freezer. Sarah, the hygienist, is wonderful and uses an ultra-sonic instrument to do most of the cleaning so scraping is kept to a minimum. She is great! I have not had work done by Dr. Jeff Snyder at this office yet, but he has done work on my teeth previously and is a skilled clinician. What more can you want but two great dentists in one location? I highly recommend this practice at Juan Tabo and Manitoba no matter where you live. They will not suggest work that is not needed and the dentistry you do get will be top-notch. read more

Its been 2.5 years and I still LOVE everything about Dr. Abeyta's practice. Everyone on the staff is so good; super professional, but also very kind and gentle. Dr Abeyta herself is wonderful. She really, REALLY, cares that her patients have total comfort and confidence in all the services she offers. I had questions about a procedure and she saw me for a half an hour just answering my questions and then she didn't even charge me. I can not imagine ever leaving Albuquerque now, because I don't think I will ever find a better dentist. One last thing I want to mention. Joanna, one of the ladies who works for Dr. Abeyta, offers Reiki treatments as a calming service some people like to get before they have a dental appointment. I tried it and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who has some "dental anxiety." It was really relaxing and soothing. While Dr. Abeyta, DDS is friendly, accommodating, and kind, I found her ability to diagnose and treat dental issues quite basic. She was not thorough in her examinations, x-rays, or recommendations. She provided referrals to specialists who were not at all following integrative or biological knowledge or protocol. Following her diagnoses and recommendations led me to receive incorrect treatments that I have been dealing the fall out and fixing of for a year now. She may be fine for basic cleanings, etc, but I cannot recommend her for anything beyond that. read more

Dr Abeyta is a great dentist and VERY skilled in her field. I'd absolutely trust her to do cosmetic fillers and, obviously, she's the best at dental practice. Read your contract. It's imperative to a good relationship that we all understand our agreements with our docs and any potential financial gaps. I had some minor dental work done yesterday and it was by far the most pain-free dental experience of my life. Dr Abeyta had to replace an old filling and I was in and out of there with NO PAIN or discomfort in 35 minutes! Her practice is a little more pricey than some dentists in town, but she uses latest technology and thankfully my insurance covered almost all of the charges. Since she is not on my preferred provider list I had to pay up front on my initial exam and cleaning, but her staff filed my claim and I had a check from my insurance really quickly. The best thing is that she uses "the wand" for anesthesia, which means no big needles, it's awesome. Her office is also very nice, clean, and welcoming. read more

My mother always told me the three things you should never skimp on are: 1) shoes 2) car 3) your teeth Dr. Abeyta is by far the best dentist I have ever had. Her knowledge and expertise are only exceeded by how well she explains her care plans, routines and procedures. Her demeanor actually encourages me to ask questions and I ALWAYS feel so confident when I leave. The staff is just as amazing as Dr. Abeyta. She has simply pulled together a stellar team of professionals. Joanna always greets me with a smile and does such an amazing job staying on top of my insurance claims and my scheduling. Summer, Sandra and Rosie are so attentive when I'm in the chair and make me so comfortable whether it's a cleaning or a filling. Sara, the care manager, takes all the time that I need to understand my care payment options and just like the Dr. answers all my questions thoroughly. The fact that I know the team's names so well says something about the care they provide. My experiences at Dr. Abeyta's office motivate me to take better care of my teeth. I don't mind going to this dentist. Going to the dentist is a drag, but Dr. Abeyta puts in extra work that made my experience painless. It is a very Zen-like experience. The mediation water fall in the waiting area was soothing. They also offer face and body treatments, which is a nice addition. Highly recommend dental services and facials. read more

When I originally came to Dr, Abeyta, I was in "crisis-mode". I was having horribly debilitating migraines, post-wisdom teeth removal, and was in desperate need of help. After seeing multiple Albuquerque doctors to address my pain and inability to function, we FINALLY found Dr. Abeyta! The front desk was superb in helping me get an immediate appointment to discuss treatments, A.S.A.P. I've never experienced a doctor who paid such close attention to detail. Within the first twenty minutes, Dr. Abeyta was able to identify my problems and the best way to treat them. Since first coming to her, I've seen a drastic improvement in my TMJ issues. Botox was a huge help, and I wouldn't trust any other doctor to give the injections. The environment is incredible. Not only is the office impeccably clean and well-organized, but the atmosphere is more that of a high-end spa, not a dentist's office. They have the worst customer service I ever seen, my wife she had a bill didn't paid from her insurance since 2013 and Alicia's office didn't tell us and they turned the bill to the collection agency after three years and when we try to call Alicia's office to get a copy from that bill they usually don't answer the phone and when they answered they were very rude with us. read more
