I would recommend ABQ Gentle Dentistry to anyone! Everyone there was so kind and so professional. I was having a problem and needed to get in to get some work done before the end of the calendar year for insurance reasons. The schedule was booked but Dr. Lafferty came in early one morning to make sure I would be cared for under my insurance coverage. Kathy gave me the best dental cleaning I've ever had, and was so professional, gentle and non judgmental, especially considering my teeth were really over-the-edge cleaning-wise. Norma S. I had the good fortune of having my previous dentist of over 30 years recommend Dr. Bleak when he retired. As a patient with a long list of issues, I couldn't have found a better dentist as he does everything. He is extremely knowledgeable, cautious, a perfectionist (a good trait for a dentist), and very gentle (a great trait in a dentist). He uses state of the art equipment and has an absolutely fantastic staff (assistants and office). Best dental office ever!! I was so fortunate to find Dr. Lafferty & his team. From the moment you walk in the door, it's a pleasure. Both hygienist, Kathy & Nate, are fabulous. Gentle, conscientious, & professional. Dr. Lafferty replaced a filling for me. I didn't even feel it when he numbed me up, but he did several little things that made the procedure so much more comfortable. And the tooth! The staff is amazing and laughs at my stupid jokes. That's worth five stars right there. Dr. Lafferty installed my implant and was conscientious about my fear of needles when administering the Cain, aka, Novocain. He was very patient, unlike my fear, and has a soft touch, a good thing when someone has his fingers in my mouth, in a professional sense. The fit of the implant is great, and now I can smile, while showing all of my teeth. Not that I was ashamed of smiling with a missing tooth. Probably because no one could see it unless I open my mouth wide open to show that hole. I'd definitely recommend this to my girlfriend, which I have. read more

Me, my husband and both of our children see Dr. Bleak and out of all the dentists I've seen over my lifetime, Dr. Bleak and his amazing staff are THE BEST! Dr. Bleak is very very gentle and thorough and takes amazing pride in his work. His facility is state of the art and runs so smoothly. I personally have hated going to the dentist, especially after a few really bad experiences. But Dr. Bleak has put me at ease and helped me to develop a trusting, friendly relationship. Almost a year ago, I woke up with a horrific toothache, that resulted in two extractions.
