Food porn. Crab cake, prosciutto wrapped Potatoe cake, a beef stuffed wonton and spicy sauce with pistachios.

This Foodie tour was stellar. Ed was very informative and fun. We had 6 stops and every stop was divine. I would say .... come hungry and block out a nap time after. I will add some photos of food porn. When you call, ask for Suzanne and tell her I sent you! I bought 4 more tickets to come back with my hubby and friends!

Right half taken from Creepy Crawl Tour. Perfect night out for a British Pub Crawl if you include dinner at The King's Head!

This review is for City Walks "Creepy Crawly Pub Crawl" taken June 2014: The best part about the City Walk Creepy Crawly Pub Crawl was that it got me out of my St. Augustine rut! I tend to have my favorites and *only* go to those selective few places in St. Augustine. As a result, St. Augustine has gotten a little dry because I don't branch out and take a chance to be stimulated by visiting new venues. For instance, I NEVER would have entered The Old Milltop Tavern and seen their charming fairy garden tree house! The Milltop Tavern built their patio around a spindly tree whose branches seemed to want to embrace its visitors while decorated with white Christmas lights. From the bottom level of the patio you have a front row view of the old fort across the street and we were blessed by seeing the fort framed by a rising full moon! The patio has a ladder to climb to the second story and one instantly feels like you're playing in a tree house! There was live music being played on the bottom level AND on the top! I was especially smitten with the acoustic guitarist playing a slow rendition of the theme song to The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Our guide was named Mills and he was HILARIOUS! He told a lot of off-the-cuff jokes playing off the interruptions from traffic, the audience, or his coworkers. The FUNNIEST thing he did that night was when he warned us, "If you see someone that's eavesdropping in on our stories, I'm going to start speaking gibberish like another language." Soon enough a couple stopped to eavesdrop and Mills seamlessly began speaking in his "Mandarin Chinese." It was really funny! At one point he started laughing and it was our cue as the audience to respond to his "joke." We all started laughing---which only fueled MORE genuine laughter! The gasoline was soon thrown on our funny bone and we couldn't control our raucous laughter! We just couldn't! It was just the funniest thing ever! Eventually Mills turned to the folks and said that this was a paid tour by City Walks for their "Mandarin" group and if they were interested they too could sign up around the corner. It was probably the best part of the evening. The second stop was Stogies Jazz Club & Cigar Bar. Instead of socializing with the other participants there, we chose to zone out and listen to music outside by the fire-pit and absorb the atmosphere while enjoying a Jeffe Blonde Ale. There was so much GREAT live music on the tour! In fact, the least interesting part of the entire Creepy Crawly Pub Crawl was the supernatural angle. It was all rather forgettable with the "Take a photograph of a dark room and let's see if you see a floating orb" etc. If one is really interested in a GREAT historic tour with a fascinating storyteller, then I highly recommend Sherrif's Ghost Walk Tour. (See my other review.) I MAY have also snuck off from the group to buy a Hyppo pop while we were stopped for a ghost story by one of the houses. (I highly recommend the Horchata Popsicle there!) The last stop on the tour was an Irish Pub RIGHT across Inlet and it was lovely inside. I drank a Honey Whiskey while sitting on the balcony with a big group from our tour. It was nice that by the end of the evening everyone was socializing and paling around together. It's interesting because the Pub Crawl wasn't ANYTHING like I thought it would be. To me it seemed like a tour of little known gems in St. Augustine with fantastic live music you can drink by. It was an especially GREAT deal because we bought a groupon for the tour! I had planned the evening based off a British Pub Crawl. We had dinner first at The King's Head and then went on the Pub Crawl with my family. EVERYBODY had a great time! If you're looking to get out of YOUR St. Augustine rut too, or just want an evening of fun, I highly recommend this tour!

One the Creepy Pub crawl, Brian really gets into his work...just look into his eyes.

I got the impression there were more lights than I saw. Still beautiful and glad we did it but just not what I had imagined. I thought every building in the area was covered with lights. The driver we had, don't know his name, was very informative and funny. He sang along with the songs, shouted out for the kids to find the elfs and we all laughed when he asked us to find the two red lights in the trees and to his surprise they had been turned off. Traffic is horrific and the seats are tight and hard so that was a little uncomfortable but again I am so glad we did this. I would just suggest going before Christmas or the last week. It might not be as crowded. We went the Saturday after Christmas. Not as busy as Dec 1-20th. Also we did the early tour at 6:30 and when we got back the line was crazy long for the other tour times.

Scott, our tour guide was so fun and played the 90's music while we rode the fun golf cart ride! One of my favorite one was the wine and cheese spread at the top floor of cathedral with a beautiful view of the city. The eggplants spread, goat cheese with honey on a rustic bread was amazing and the wine was wonderful. What a fun way to explore the historic st. Augustine through food, amazing wine, view of downtown, and places to visit per our tour guide recommendations. I definitely recommend this tasting tour for a fun day in st. Augustine.

It most definitely didn't seem that way! They DID get back to me via text, but it wasn't in a quick fashion. I'd say an semi-acceptable fashion (within 8-12 hours.) Regardless, we DID get our event scheduled for a private tour with (15 people.) It was quite an expensive 'private tour' of the night of lights that was explained to me as tho the grinch (driving one trolly) and Santa (driving another trolly) would interact with one another (more than minimally) and make the tour exclusive to all 15 of us. They would hop off one trolly and interact with the passengers of the other trolly, etc. In reality, it was NOT a collective tour. The grinch separated from the other trolly and it was essentially two separate tours. Approximately 3-4 times they interacted with one another (acting as tho one would hit the other's trolly, yelling insults at Santa, responding to the grinch, and stopping at the 'duck bar' for the ambush together.) The address to initially meet at is kind of hard to find, even with GPS, as well! There is NO indication of 'the tasting tours' business name on the store front at the address. It is a Cuban bakery.' YES, we all had a good time.... But I don't want the rest of you that book a 'private' tour to be mislead or pay for something you won't receive. *** I also find it distasteful that the company charges an unprecedented amount of money for the trolly rides and then has the audacity to send an email asking for further tip for the trolly drivers.*** Whether a patron tips or not is up to them, not a business owner requesting it!

This review is for the Christmas Light Tour…read more I had a very disappointing experience with St. Augustine Land and Sea Tours due to poor communication and a lack of integrity. I received a text message at 3:00 PM (sent at 1:15 PM, but not seen until later) stating that they were having mechanical issues with one of their carts and wanted to move my reservation to 8:00 PM. This did not work for me, as I cannot drive at night and the person driving me was unable to change his plans. They then asked if 6:30 PM would work, which I agreed to, but this change meant I now had to take an Uber since my driver had already made other arrangements. I requested a refund for the one person who could no longer attend due to their schedule change and was told the cancellation policy is 24 hours. I explained that the 24-hour policy should apply both ways, especially when the company is the one changing the reservation the day of the tour. To add to the confusion, I was then told I had been put back on my "original" time of 6:30 PM--however, my original reservation time was actually 7:30 PM. I would have gladly paid my $40 ticket and the additional $25 each way for Uber transportation if they had refunded the second ticket. However, paying $130 total just to look at Christmas lights is excessive. The fact that the company changed the schedule and still refused to refund the one ticket speaks volumes about their integrity. I highly do not recommend using this company for any tours.

And I wasn't wrong! The tour lasted about 90 minutes (and it leaves promptly FYI) and takes you along the shoreline of Amelia Island - past the shrimping boats and past a Civil War era fort - before heading towards Cumberland Island National Seashore. This is where the true fun of the tour was for me. I had no idea really the history of the island and found it fascinating how the Carnegies and Rockefellers and more of the country's elite used this random Georgia seashore as their private escape. The history of both Cumberland and Amelia Islands is incredibly fascinating and the guides for both the Florida and Georgia sides respectively were well informed and personable. Plus - you'll very likely see a ton of great wildlife throughout including dolphins and wild horses and pigs. It's a great way to spend an afternoon in the area and a fabulous introduction to Cumberland Island National Seashore/Park.
