I asked a bout a 2015 F350 on Car Gurus. I asked for a simple video of heaaring the engine run and to be sure that everything underneath was not rusted. Justin said he was to busy and would do get to it in two days.When i asked about it agin He then text and said the truck was in a different location and on the way so he could send the video. When he finally sends the video the truck was cold and had not been started or driven from a different loaction according to the gauges. As soon as he sent the video he said I need an answer now this truck that has been at the lot for 54 days will sell quick. So i text him back after my meeting and told him I wanted the truck and he said another customer came in and was paying with cash and that it was my fault for not answering him when he asked. Then first thing this morning as soon as they opened he sent me a text that the other customer backed out and the truck was available. The truck was listed at $25,888 and after he magically changed the price to $35,888 it was available again. So he made up another lie about a 3 day sale and said if I really wanted it then I should have went in person to buy it, Because a customer that was states away was not that important to him since Justin is the #1 salesman. I live in Cleveland and recently dealt with Citywide in Toledo, Ohio after speaking with one of their salesmen, Elias, through Facebook Marketplace about a truck they had listed. After repeatedly asking for a price, he kept telling me that his boss hadn't priced the vehicle yet. I even asked him to check directly with his boss, but instead, he kept asking me when I could "come in." I explained multiple times that I live nearly 1 hour and 40 minutes away and wouldn't make that trip without knowing the price first. After going back and forth for a couple of days, I finally made him an offer of about $13,000 out the door, and he said he could do that. I then asked him to send me a video of the truck running and a few other details -- he never sent the video. Despite that, we decided to make the trip out on Saturday. When we arrived, we were told the truck was not even there -- it was at auction, and had been there for some time. To make matters worse, the actual price of the truck was around $5,000 more than what was discussed. We were told the salesman "wasn't at that store," so we drove to their other location -- only to be told again that he "wasn't there," even though the first location told us the opposite. We spoke with a manager who was polite and sympathetic, but the vehicles he showed us weren't close in price or quality. He said the general manager, Mike, would call me, which he did on Monday. After explaining the situation, including that I had worked in the car business for 14 years, his response was extremely condescending -- "Well, if you've been in the car business, you should have known that vehicle wouldn't sell for that." It shouldn't matter whether I was in the car business or not -- a quote is a quote. Mike told me there was nothing he could do and even said, "Go to social media if you want -- that's your prerogative." So here I am. Between the 4-hour round trip, gas, tolls on the Ohio Turnpike, and wasted time, this was one of the most unprofessional experiences I've ever had with a dealership. The lack of honesty, communication, and accountability was disappointing from start to finish. Save yourself the trip -- get everything in writing first, or better yet, find a dealership that values honesty and customer respect. read more

Very shady and dishonest bunch. Tried to do a classic bait and switch with vehicles. Drove over an hour to see vehicle and tried to get all of my info and social to run credit etc before having the decency to let me know it was already sold. Then acted like I was the bad guy for being upset about their dishonest and absolutely abhorrent tactics. Do not trust them to be honest. Do not drive any type of distance for a "good deal". I wouldn't be surprised if the good deals were fake ads to get people in. read more

My rating is zero. I paid over 7,000 to City Wide Auto Credit for a down payment on my vehicle and also a payoff to my previous lender. The fact that they owe money to my previous lender is in my original loan paperwork. They never paid. They kept all of the money. We have been through litigation twice. They have promised to pay what they owe. They still have not. And then they stopped all communication. They are frauds and thieves. So now I am in litigation again with these liars . Whats funny is, every 6 months they get a whole new set of employees. Every always says " Im new here". Probably because the previous employees are allowed to steal from the customers and run away with the money. read more

Sold my girl a car n two days later dashboard goes dark and headlights won't work and this was after selling the car with one fob that was dead. Worst company I have ever dealt with. We purchased a warranty from them when we purchased our vehicle and cancelled the warranty after 15 months. I have been trying to get my refund of the unused portion of my warranty for the last 5 months with absolutely no success. No one returns my phone calls, the person who is handling the financial end is rude and gives the worst customer service I have ever had! I work in the customer service industry and would lose my job if I treated a customer the way she does. Do not buy a warranty from this company. I am given the run around for something they should be handling. They don't even deserve the 1 star that I gave them but could not give less. read more

I bought a car from Citywide on Monday, January 25th and by Wednesday (2 days later), the check engine light came on. I immediately called Citywide and was told by the sales rep that he would talk to the manager on Thursday since it was the end of the day. On Thursday, I was told that since I didn't buy the optional warranty package, to go to Autozone and get the code scanned, then they'd talk. Instead, I took it to my mechanic and told them to inspect the car and check out the warning light. One of the things they found was a wasp nest in the air filter with a bunch of dead wasps. Supposedly, Citywide performed a 150-point inspection of the car when they acquired it. 150 points checked and the air filter wasn't one of them? Maybe it was. They also noticed that the wipers needed replacing. The check engine light was for an Oxygen sensor that cost $350 to fix. Maybe their inspection revealed this too. Long story short, if you want to buy one of their cars, get it inspected carefully first! Also, when I was buying the car, they promised me a replacement spare tire since the spare tire was missing from the car I bought. Almost two weeks and repeated contacts have gotten me nothing despite the fact they wrote on the sales contract that they owed me one. I'm considering small claims court. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I bought a 2009 dodge nitro for 11,599 tax and title. Fair price until 2 days later when the check engine light came on and it started shaking feriously. I called the finance place which had me talking to the warranty company. After 3 weeks of being on them to process my paperwork so I can get my car looked at I take it in to Midas. They didn't do a full diagnosis because the car needed 15,000$ worth of repairs in the engine. I call the warranty company and talk to them. Apparently when I asked where I can take it in and they said anywhere was a lie. They said I would have to front the 15,000$ and they would reimburse me. If I had that much I wouldn't have needed a loan. Now they are not calling me back and keep telling me they will look into this. This car shouldn't have been on their lot to sell. It should have been taken in for scrap. read more
