Sept 12 Update at the Bottom I have been to this place a number of times for service and generally OK. I had a recent experience that was disappointing. I was contacted randomly I believe by the service dept. in March this year via text. I explained my concerns and had not heard from then for a month and a half. Then I received the same canned text message again asking how my experience was. I responded again. They responded with a messages stating they would contact upper management. I have heard nothing since the April 30th message . #3 is concerning and makes me wonder if the master cylinder really needed to be replaced. Are they replacing parts that don't require replacing?..... They have t responded so that creates more doubt. Needless to say I wont be taking my cars for service there any more unless reparations are made. Even then, their reputation has been tainted since they never responded to my feedback. "Thank you for following up. This visit could have been better: (1) I left the car off Friday afternoon but did not receive a call and when I called they said I could pick up a rental car for the night and that the car would be looked at on Saturday morning. Saturday morning passed with no call so I called and they said they did not look at it, the service managers were not in and they might look at it Monday. I stated I guess I would just keep the rental and felt a lack of direction from the dealership. (2) There was no ice scraper in the rental and I was late to work since I had to let the car warm up. I didnt park it in the garage since the rental was long. (3) I asked what was the root cause of the master cylinder leaking and I wanted to see it when I picked the car up. The service manager/associate stated he wasn't sure, maybe the O ring etc. I am paying $500 for a $185 component to be installed and deserve response. When I picked the car up the master cylinder was not available. That created suspicion. I asked to confirm the root cause, and take a picture of the unit and email it to me so I can see what failed potentially. I have not received the email yet. The service manager/associate did not instill confidence in me. I knew I would never see the email. I had service performed before and it was better. I was disappointed with this visit. Update: i received a call from the service dept, he apologized and stated the master cylinder and or root cause of the problem was not available, but he wanted to make it up to me and send me some coupons for free service (wash, oil). It has now been 22 weeks since I bought tires and was promised a price match without Yark following through with my refund. Melissa from Customer Support asked me to provide my estimate from TireMan and she would look into it (I provided all of this at my time of service). On 5/26/21 she indicated that a refund check request was being submitted And would be mailed to me. I sent an email on 6/22/21 asking about the status of that check but haven't heard back. My recommendation would be to go where you know you are going to get the best deal and don't believe this price match BS. I'm done doing business there. read more

I live 500 plus miles from Yark Chevrolet I found the used Chevy Silverado I was looking for there via the internet. I contacted them and they were able to sell me the truck get me great financing and hold it for me until I could fly out to pick up the truck and drive it home. Josh Sparks and Nicole Mcluskey were great to deal with Friendly and knowledgeable. And I even saw the guy with the crazy pants that I read about in other reviews. Customer Beware! I paid for normal maintenance to be done on my car just to catch them charging me for them and them not actually completing the work! Wait WHAT Yes that's right They charged my credit card and tried to send me on my way. But little did they know I had marked my tires to make sure they were rotated. " they were not rotated " Oil change was to be done " oil light was not reset and my oil still looked dirty " was it done who knows for positive but, I highly doubt it. Sad thing is? they had my car for almost 6 hours before they called to say it was completed. Have had my 2019 Traverse in for a High Speed vibration since I bought it. They checked the balance and adjusted the tires on the first time back. Second time I went back Service Manager said he felt the vibration and thought the tires would work themselves out but if it persisted bring it back. So now I take it back for the 3rd time and I get a call they were done and they balanced the tires. The Service writer informs me the vibration is still there but the Service Manager drove another 2019 Traverse and it was there also. So I go to pick up the car and I am not happy and I ask for the Service Writer to put into the notes the vibration is still there. I cannot do that he explains because on smooth roads it goes away. Not the roads around here though just smooth ones. I then ask where did you find those smooth roads and he said somewhere in Maumee. This is the worst customer service and complete BS. read more

Zero stars!! Please before you read this ask yourself! ( would I pay for a product or service that was not done or you did not receive ) well I have had this multiple times and it started at MC Neil Chevrolet. I have 2 newer vehicles (2017's Chevys) both with 30000 miles or less. I want to keep my vehicles well serviced. But Yark failed me. I took my car to them because the shifter failed and the car kept telling us to put the car in park when it already was! Plus while the vehicle was there I wanted to get the oil changed and tires rotated. I marked my tires with 1-4 dashes on the rim where it was dirty. this way I knew what position they where in before they rotated them. Well they were all in the same positions! The service manager and his boss tried to ensure me this does not happen and over 35 years yada yada yada! But Please read my yelp review from Mc Neil Chevrolet! also I will be posting the picture if the written comment the service manager wrote plus a copy of my refund receipt. ( they offered to do the work then ) But I know these places are, and yes they would of done the work in front of me. but mechanics do certain things to peoples vehicles to end up costing the customer more money. ( think of it like sending your food back at a restaurant!!! You best believe someone spit in your food when it comes back out ) Back to mechanics. once someone is in trouble for not doing there JOB they tend to try to take it out on your car. Like tightening one of your lug nuts too tight so it will warp your rotor and make you replace brakes and rotors sooner (costing the customer money) Or they loosen a bolt or 2 on something else... or putting a cut in some of your electrical wires so in time rain and water will corrode and make a headache for you to figure out later... either way I'm not taking that chance! We bought our previous car, a Jeep Patriot, through Yark a year prior. It was not as "fast" as we had hoped and it wasn't as big. When we decided to change vehicles and move into an Equinox we were DELIGHTED to learn of Yark's Chevrolet dealership in Whitehouse. We went in, met with Jason, literally gave him our "grocery" list of items, (color, fabric selection, everything) that we preferred to have on our new Equinox. within 15 minutes of a search, Jason Lannon helped us find it,drove a similar model which was in stock at the dealership, gave us a quote and then we were on our way. We called back 2 weeks later, because our quote was "valid" until the end of the month with discounts, etc. and asked him to get the vehicle in his possession (he had to get it from another dealer) - we made an appointment to go in, pay for it and pick it up. The vehicle was night dropped on 8-11-16 with a scheduled appointment made for 8-16-16. Vehicle was not looked at on 8-16 because of staffing issues. I did not drop it off on the sane day as the scheduled appointment. Also, swearing should not be ok in a place of business. Because the employee did not see my child nearby should not make it ok. I did visit the location last back in 2011. I was not completely satisfied from that visit because of an employee issue yet I tried again. I gave them another chance. It did not work out.
