We had the vehicle towed to the local Honda dealership where they discovered that all of the following were broken or needed repair. both front shocks front brakes at 3mm rear are at 6mm (lots of rust) tie rod ends are completely broken right and left ball joint boots broken passenger axel seal is leaking v tec valve gasket leaking oil pan gasket leaking crank seal leaking drive belt grooves cut into it and worn out sway bar links are broken rear axle seal right left are leaking emergency brake pad needs to be replaced 2 wheel speed sensors * 3rd pressure switch door lock cylinder needs to be replaced (driver door wont lock) On top of all of that there were 3 safety recalls that needed to be addressed. When we called the dealership, they accused the CERTIFIED Honda mechanics of lying to us about the extent of the repairs that were needed and stood behind the fact that the vehicle was inspected and certified before it was sold on their lot. I am shocked at the attitude of the dealership about these issues and would recommend that any and everyone stay away from this place.

I left a voicemail and email regarding interest in the car. I have continued to check online to see if it was still available and it's maintained an available status online. I finally called again to set an appt to view the car. Their google number for the business isn't even in operation. So you have to go in on the website to find the "sales" number. Then to find out they had sold it over a month ago. But never took the listing down. It's not worth the back and forth honestly. I'd recommend they fix a lot they going to lose a lot of customers from laziness. I do not have a vehicle and so online in the main way i browse before going to inspect a vehicle.

Then 2 weeks later, my car broke down and needed an engine. We brought the car up there and the owner was extremely unprofessional and drove my car and said it ran fine, when in all reality you couldn't drive the thing up a hill. They offered no help, no rental car, nothing. told us we had a warranty and to take it to a shop. Place needs new owner, the dude is insanely rude.

No sleezy snake oil salesman type vibes just trying to make a quick buck. My experience with Cragg Motors in Belton, MO, was one of those times. Ken Cragg and his wife Kim, the only two employees, treat you like old friends the moment you meet them. There's no pretense, no "car dealer b.s." that everyone hates. Just two hardworking people who do everything themselves. My tradein was pretty rough (albeit with fairly low miles), but I got a very fair price for it. And the fixed, no-hassle price of the Ford Transit I bought, was wonderful. Absolutely none of the pressure tactics, none of the "I'll talk to my manager" crap. Ken knows the fair price of the vehicle, so that he makes a little money and you still get a great deal. THIS is how car dealing should be. As I told both of them, I've never felt more comfortable giving a check to someone for a car. It felt like I was dealing with old friends, instead of two folks I just met. After we agreed on everything and I came back with a cashier's check, I was in and out in 40 minutes! You can bet I will absolutely go to Cragg in the future. Ken and Kim know how it's SUPPOSED to be done!

I am only sharing my experience to warn others to consider all options before spending your hard earned money with this "establishment ". I drove from four hours away to test drive a car that they advertised and everything seemed in order. I returned the following weekend to purchase the car and within 24 hours I had a check engine light. I immediately contacted the business to inform them of the recent development and to get some guidance. I was told to find out what the code was and let them know. I went to a local shop the next day to get the code read. I then called my salesman and shared the findings with him. It was not good news. Transmission failure. I explained to him that i understood i had purchased the car "as is" but with such a catastrophic issue happening so soon that I would hope that they would stand behind their product for at least 48hrs. I was then told that due to the fact that I declined the warranty there was nothing they could do or would offer to do. (On a side note, i discovered that the warranty would have only covered $1k of the repair) The repair costs were estimated at $4k for the new transmission. I explained to them that I understood that I had purchased the car"As-is", but I had hoped that since this had occurred in such a short window of time that they would take the opportunity to stand behind their product and offer some sort of resolution. I was told that I was on my own and they stopped answering my phone calls. I am beyond digusted and extremely disappointed in the lack of integrity displayed throughout this experience.
