I was looking for a used car in the wholesale range - under $5k - and he told me that small 'mom and pop' type car lots change hands frequently and are of varying levels of trustworthiness...he said that the watermark is longevity and the Dutch & Dillon has been in business with the same owner for over 25 years (it had previously been owned by another party but has stayed with the buyer since the late 1980s). There's no way to fake that and I drove out to meet the owner, Mo, who is a square, no-nonsense, honest guy. Pleased with my experience and got what I was looking for. Mo kept up all of his promises and I feel like I got a fair deal. Would recommend. Only reason I opted for four instead of five stars, is that I had to get a third-party safety inspection (12 bucks, so not a huge deal) and registered MO dealers, while not necessarily mandated, should offer them. That aside, good business I'd visit again.

I requested an oil change and tire rotation as it had been 5,000 miles since the last time I had…read morethose services performed. Automan/Autoplaza called AFTER they had performed the tire rotation and questioned my logic in performing this service multiple times. Then, he said that the tires were worn out and he just couldn't figure out why, but maybe it was out of alignment. The tires had 42,100 miles on them, and they are rated at 45,000 miles - original equipment on the 2016 vehicle. Rotation at 5,000 miles is standard and recommended by Nissan. So, a repair shop worthy of my continued business would have stopped the rotation when taking the first tire off the car, prepared a quick quote of 2-3 tire options and called me to say that they thought it needed tires and perhaps I would consider that rather than the rotation. Not this guy. Charged $45 for a tire rotation he couldn't rationalize. Was bewildered how my tires may be worn out. Suggested there was something wrong with the car, but offered no evidence to that end. Didn't bother to spec out replacement tires for me (even after I asked him to do so and gave 45 minutes before I came to pick up the car.) Services were pricey - my car takes synthetic oil, but they charged over $27 more for this service than my previous mechanic. The dealer where my wife gets her car serviced does a synthetic change including tire rotation, multipoint inspection, and fluid top-off for about the same price I was charged just for the LOF at Automan/Autoplaza. The scratches on my door will buff out, I'm pretty sure. And, I did contact through the "contact us" option on their website and have received no response.

After taking my car to a different shop this time, I realized they didn't do things that were supposed to be done when replacing an ignition. I don't think they set me up for success when I used this shop. I know someone else who has also used them multiple times for motor issues and continue to have problems after investing a lot off money into this shop. The people are friendly but seems like they aren't precise in the work they do, especially when this work is a lot of money out of pocket.

So I have a old vehicle it begins to stop when it's driving the fuel pump is bad on it so I was highly recommended to Ed. I was told that he could fix my vehicle for a cheaper price most mechanics would charge. Ed also knew about this vehicle. I called him up and talked to him about the fuel pump situation and how much it would cost for everything.He told me that he doesn't want to work on my old pickup and that he usually doesn't work on older vehicles. Later I looked on his facebook page and most the posts are older vehicles actually ones older than mine. I told him that all you have to do is check the fuel pressure. He said well that might not fix the problem and that he couldn't guarantee that was the problem. For a mechanic to not be curtain on things like that then that tells me that they have poor business and that they aren't trustworthy. I don't want a mechanic that is trash to fix my car so he can rip me off and mess more things up on it. I would never take my car to this man!! They told me that my timing belt failed, causing the timing to slip, and that as a result the engine was toast and they quoted it at about a $6,600 repair. I immediately knew something was up, given that my vehicle has a non-interference engine (meaning even if the engine were to jump time there should be no extensive damage). I decided to get a second opinion, and it turns out the water pump had failed, and caused the engine to slip 3 teeth out of time... All in all, the replacement water pump, antifreeze, timing belt, and installation totaled around $500, the car runs completely normally. I am very disappointed with their service. They clearly did not spend much time figuring out what was wrong with my vehicle, and instead decided that they would quote me an outrageous amount to fix a non issue. I won't be wasting any more time or money hoping these folks will actually keep their customer's best interest in mind. 1/5

They've even gone as far at times to take me "under the hood" and show me what a healthy part looks like compared to the broken one that needs fixing. Across the street was Perkins so I whipped my car in there. The guys looked at my tire and said the nail had not actually gone all the way through, they spent 30 minutes ensuring there wasn't a hole anywhere else and they adjusted my tire pressure for all four of my tires (which they said was out of whack and that's why my sensor went off). When the gentleman handed me my keys he said no charge. I couldn't believe it. I really appreciated them being honest. I will be returning to Perkins the next time I have an issue!

Once the problem is isolated he gives me a quote, but does not make me feel obligated to the service. I was in just today and he gave me a couple of different options for my leaking sunroof. He was very patient while I stepped outside to consult with my brother about which option he would recommend. The whole process is very laid back and non pressure. Mike is a very approachable, casual guy and provides friendly service. He personally fixed my leaky sunroof and allowed me to be there while he was working on it. I also liked the fact that he checked to see what kind of time schedule I was on before starting the project.
