Got a car in September and it's been in the shop for the last 3 weeks. Sold me a car with a bad transmission. Finance company is ass. They don't have any loaner vehicles but will tell you they can put you in one and never do. They never answer the phone and it's always a busy dial tone. I have submitted a complaint to Missouri DMV & BBB. Selling people lemon cars with high miles but not disclosing issues with cars. THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE. Update 10/22/2024: Car is still not fixed. Jesse ordered a used transmission for an 2019 car and the car is still making sounds. It's still not repaired and was promised to get my money back if so, now all of sudden Jesse won't be in the office for another week? I have submitted my complaint with form 4683 to the DMV. I have reached out to Missouri attorney general Andrew Bailey. STAY AWARE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. Wow - everything that could go wrong went wrong . The car broke down while taking it to be inspected . He did warn me it could he happen but he also couldn't tell me what's wrong with it - I know winner dealership - so I had to do it to decide if it's worth it or not trying to fix it . So I had to pay 90$ out of pocket for towing then for a full month they would not return my deposit . Jacob rose kept saying they would and I finally got tired of it and filed a PayPal claim - so glad I paid them that way ! You know your customers could file a claim , why drag it and make it an even more miserable experience by making me have to file for a resolution?! If I could give them 0 rating I would . Worst car experience in my 47 years of life. Drove a young man I'm very close with to pick up his car purchased for him by his single mother at this dealership. We arrived to the dirtiest car I've ever seen on a lot (that they paid over 15k for). I expressed my disappointment to the manager. He explained they don't clean cars to save money so they can "help people get the best deal". I kinda took him at his word although it doesn't cost anything to wipe down and vacuum out a car a little. On the way back the car had warning lights coming on and pulling left hard with the crash control steering. The tires were bald so I took him to the tire shop where we were informed the tires were all different sizes, the brakes were shot, the shocks were done and the windshield wipers were done and it had been in a significant front end collision. I called the manager Jacob back to tell him and his response was "it's sold as is and they already drove it". I asked if we could return it or he could help with repairs and he said "you can bring it back and I'll have the shop across the street fix it and I'll raise the price of the car to cover it". His only other suggestion was "wait a few weeks then have the warranty cover it" which was not a option anyway because he flew in town to drive this car back 10 hours to college where he is a student athlete. Despite the story I was given about trying to help people, my experience was this place is taking advantage of people in bad financial situations. Your not helping people by putting them in a dangerous car and overpricing junk because your able to help them get approved for a high interest loan. read more

My wife and I purchased a 2006 Jeep Commander with a low end KBB price of $4700 and a fair market value of $6000. We JUST got the title months after purchasing the vehicle and it shows the selling price of $8595! I am seriously wondering if someone at the dealership thinks this is a joke because, A in the 2 months we have driven the car we have had nothing but issues. Missing gas cap, overhearing transmission oil issue, bad catalytic converters. Numerous panels missing on the interior and door panels hangin off. Windows and interior buttons not functioning. Getting a dealer estimate to fix everything comes to over $4000. When I call the dealership and speak with someone they refuse to do anything to make this right. UNPROFESSIONAL ASSES!!! Do not go there if you want poor and unprofessional service! I bought a car with front end damage from an accident. They said if I buy the car, they'll fix it right away. Well they never picked up our phone car for 2 whole weeks when we took the car home. We left multiple voicemails and no one calls us back. Finally the end of the 2nd week we got a hold of them and they said next week they should be able to fix the car. So Monday comes and they too busy still. So We drop the car and tell them to get it fixed. We called them a few days after and they find so many excuses like we want to get it done right, were looking for a good shop, decent price, etc. That's not our problem, get it fucken done dude! But it sat in their lot for more than a week. I'm paying for the car, registrations, and insurance while they wasted a month of bills for the car. Lousy business. Finally over a month they get my car in the shop. We call almost everyday because you won't expect them calling in to let you know what's going on. I called them yesterday, they said it's fixed and ready they just need to go pay the shop and they will call me back. We wait for hours, no call. So we call them, they said don't worry they will call us when our car is ready to get picked up. Well no call all day still!!!!!! So my husband and I am calling them all day today, and no one wants to pick up our call. It rings busy or voicemail. Horrible service. Unprofessional. Also they took two weeks to finish off our warranty paperwork done even tho we frickin paid for it the day we bought the car. The reps excuse was he didn't get paid yet. What?? Got excellent service when buying my vehicle. A few things weren't done yet so the price was knocked down which was okay with me.

I called asking about a 1/2 ton Chevy for sale. They were very short and irritable until they figured out I was gonna pay asking price and then the wanted to be best friends. They talked very highly of the truck. When I test drive it the key wouldn't turn over. Only needed an ignition cylinder, no big deal. Test drive and and decided to purchase. Soon as I signed the paperwork they were back inside and never came back out even while I struggled to start it for like 10 minutes. 2 weeks later a pre bent brake line ruptured and almost caused me to be t boned. The truck needed so much work and they told me it needed nothing. When I called about the issues they said they would call me right back but never did and would never answer another call from my number. read more

I really don't even want to give them a 1 star, they need 0 stars. Bought a truck, the next day I noticed a studder in the transmission. I called and took it up to the lot. Jake drove it and said it was the u joint and don't worry just keep driving it. I purchased a warranty with the truck and he wanted to wait until the warranty kicked in, I'm sure he didn't want them to know he sold me a fucked up truck. So I asked him if he was sure it's not messing things up by me driving it. He said no keep driving it, it was always for a week until 5 weeks went by. I asked several times how much this will cost me, they assured me it would cost me nothing, I have screen shots to prove it. Finally I took it to the transmission shop and it needed a new tranny. The cost....$3800.00 plus tax. The warranty company pays $1500.00....I pay the rest! So much for not having to pay for anything. Come to find out one f the parts was not covered because I kept driving the truck and causing more damage....Thanks Jake!! Not once have they even offered to cover some or help with the bill. It's Christmas, my kids will not be able to celebrate because I have a huge bill to pay, again, thanks Jake!! I bet your kids had a wonderful Christmas! read more

At first things were going smoothly, like they usually do with the initial car purchase process. Car in question was listed above used car Kelly Blue Book dealer retail price. It was negotiated down to an average resale price. The "salesperson" Jacob Rose stated car was in "great" condition, that was a red flag. He said tires had at least 10K miles left on them too. Took the car to a mechanic and the check engine light came on. Took it back and Jacob said it was an "easy" fix. Drove car off the lot and check engine came back on. Back to the mechanic and an A/C part was bad. To Jacob's credit he did replace it but a matching part was bad too that he would not cover. This is where Jacob Rose went from Dr. Jekyll to Mr. Hyde. A price was agreed upon and we paid for it, but when it came time to pick up the car he tacked on "extra fees" for mailing documents to address of purchaser, which he didn't and "other" unexplained things that were not discussed for the initial agreed upon price. Yes, we knew it was a used car, but Jacob's irresponsible statements about the car's "great" condition was disingenuous. The tires were deemed dangerous. the coolant was rust colored, and the other A/C part needed replaced. Those were things we replaced and fixed with no argument. When it came time to take car from Jacob we proposed to him that the amount of his "extra fees" were too high based on the fact he never previously mentioned them plus the added money put into the car. The intent was to negotiate the fees, but before any discussion could be made Jacob Rose of Victory Lane Auto went on a psychotic rant. He hurled accusations that we lied, that he hardly made any money, and told the person picking up the car to never come back, his wife was a bit@h and to "get the fu#k off of his lot!", reportadly. We never lied, we had receipts that we showed him, he made a profit because car was repossessed initially then purchased as a fleet vehicle and ultimately bought at an auction. Once car made it's final destination the water pump failed and we discovered it had a recall on the key ignition. Jacob Rose is the stereotypical car salesperson everyone distrusts, he's your best friend at first but when he finds out you're an educated buyer that stands your ground, he becomes defensive, and unprofessional. In my opinion, I'd advise everyone to avoid doing business at Victory Lane Auto and anything having to do with Jacob Rose. read more
