Pattersons towed my car after it was found abandoned. It was stolen on July 3rd but I was not…read morenotified that it had been found on July 6th until 4 days later when an Allstate agent called me at work around 3:00 p.m. The agent gave me the name & phone # of Pattersons Towing & when I called, I was told it work cost over $300. to get my car because of the storage & tow. I told him that I did not even know the car had been found until minutes before & said I wanted to come after work, around 5:30, to see my car. The guy said they close at five so I asked them if my car waa drive-able or damaged. He said he did not know so I asked if someone could go & look at it. Again he said no because he was the only one there. I asked him why I wasn't notified by anyone & he said all they do is tow cars when state police call them for a tow job. (I am waiting for a call back from an Illinois State police commander.) I asked, "Even when you know it's stolen?" so I went the following day & saw it would have to 8be towed. Fast forward 3 days: Pattersons called me at work to say tow truck had come to pick up my car & take it to my repair shop. When I asked how much the bill was, I was told over $900.!! When I asked for a breakdown of the charges & a copy of the bill to be texted to me, he told me to get the info from Allstate since they were the ones paying for it. I am sorry Allstate paid such an outrageous charge but glad I had full coverage but what about the people who only have collision or liability? How would that have hurt them? MY ADVICE TO YOU: AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!

Operator call me back after I made several attempts to reach the driver , he passed me up several times and trying to communicate wasn't possible, he was argumentative but me and my car got home then we had problems with him putting my car in front of my house cause he don't push cars. I paid to get my car home and a misunderstanding became a night mare. With employees like him, I couldn't spend a dime and no recommendation but the fee was reasonable and the operator was pleasant and apologized for his mistake.

In one case, I was quoted it would be an hour and 20 mins for a tow and within 10 mins, a driver was calling me to say he was about 10 mins away. Always felt safe. No issues at all. My last experience involved a tire change and after a tow truck driver didn't have the right tools to fix the problem, they found another driver that was less than 10 mins away to come and fix the issue.

My vehicle was brought to Collision Craft for accident repair on 9-22-2022. Al was very kind and…read moreseemed knowledgeable. After everything, my insurance company approved repairs and that's where it all goes downhill. I was never updated on repairs to the vehicle, I couldn't get in touch with Al or anyone at the shop and then I found out in March that Al sold the business. After ignoring me, I went to the shop and discovered my car completely disassembled - no fender, door, or quarter panel in the driver side of my car - and it was stored outside! The new owners of the shop had notified my insurance they no longer wanted to repair the car. When I went to talk to them about options, I was belittled, called crazy, and surrounded by 3 men as a form of intimidation. I was then told to get my car out of their shop or they would have it dragged out into the street. I then arranged for a tow truck to remove the car and then the shop wouldn't release the car! After hanging up on me numerous times, my insurance company ended up spending 3 hours getting my car released. Collision Craft was paid in full by my insurance company to repair the car, no parts were ever ordered, no repairs were ever made and in the end, my car was totaled due to the negligence of storing my car outside as the interior was destroyed by water damage. My car sat at Collision Craft for 6 months and in the end, they ruined my car, stole from my insurance company, and verbally harassed me. If I could give 0 stars, I would! If you're looking for quality repairs and a trustworthy shop, Collision Craft is NOT the place.
