Today is one of the coldest days of the year. I had a flat tire, and after my USAA road side assistance could get someone to come out, I called about a dozen shops before I called Citywide Service Towing. They were very pleasant on the phone, and said they would be out in an hour to fix it. I was amazed given all places seemed to be so booked. They came within the hour and fixed it within 15 minutes! I needed help through triple a and was told a driver would be at my address within 90 mins. 2 hours later I call triple a and they tell me that the driver came an hour prior and signed off, claiming that the service had been fulfilled. Complete BS. TO CLARIFY The driver TOTALLY LIED AND NOT ONLY DIDNT SHOW UP BUT claimed THAT THEY CAME AND JUMP STARTED MY TRUCK. to make matters worse the claim went against my policy. I called to see if my car was at this location and they were rude. They put me on hold then hung up and then I called again and the next lady who picked up was also rude. They scrapped my car without my knowledge and all of my daughter and my belongings we had in my car was all we had. They wouldn't even tell me which junk yard they sent it to. It was like they wanted to keep me from getting my belongings. Everything in my car was all we had left and keepsakes that I had left to remind me of my son who passed away as well. read more

The building manager of a company I was previously at had mistakenly requested for my car to be towed. They were apparently overly paranoid about people parking in the building lot that didn't work there, and saw another black sedan park there illegally. They had pegged my car though instead somehow because they saw it park in a small general area and I guess black sedans are uncommon... Which led the building manager to call in a tow on my car (which she later "apologized" for and covered the towing costs, but I'm still pretty pissed about). This company both has very limited hours (so I had to wait until the next morning to get my car), but appears to not do good enough checks on the validity of someone claim in needing someone else's car towed. The biggest issue I have is the irrevocable damage that was left to my car as a result of towing it while in park, with an automatic transmission and two-wheel drive, a hefty 20+ miles from it's original spot. I used to whole-heartenly love this car, but unfortunately since then it just runs so poorly that I'm looking to trade-it-in now. The whole situation from both the building manager and towing company was horrendous because at the end of the day, I was legally parked at the building I worked at, and then mistakenly pegged for towing, which has caused horrible damage to my vehicle. read more

It's subzero out in the late afternoon of New Year's Day. I have a flat tire; I worry that lots of people are having car trouble and help could be hard to find. One towing company didn't answer the phone and the mailbox was full. Getting more ominous. The next said it would be late night before they could get to it, but they referred me to citywide. Citywide said they could come and estimated a 45 minute wait. When 45 minutes had passed, Brian of citywide was already halfway through changing the tire. Service couldn't have been faster and better. Brian was a great guy. Happy I called them. read more

On the plus side, when they were called through AAA to pick up my kid from an accident in NE Minneapolis, they were relatively fast. On the downside - and this is a big downside, hence the two stars - the driver left a 16 year old outside a closed auto body shop in the dark when the temperature was in the teens. Not cool. The driver couldn't have dropped him off at a convenience store or a restaurant or SOMETHING that was open and warm? Really???? Also, the car was NOT dropped at the place recommended by AAA, and the driver did not update the record to reflect the name/location of the shop where it was left so when I called the place in the AAA record I was told they did not have my car and had never heard of me. It took several hours of sleuthing with Google Maps for me to figure out the name of a body shop near that intersection so I could get in touch with them. Also not cool. They were unaware that a vehicle was being left at their business. Oh, finally, the car was left in a handicapped space. read more

never!!!!!! never!!!! never!!!! and i do mean never call this extremely poor customer service, rude company!!! they are liars and very unprofessional!!! i usually don't go to this extreme to complain about service but this by far is the worst establishment i have ever ran into in my 42 years of life!!! please what ever you do don't do business with this company! i called this company at 5:18 p.m. for a tow i provided them with all the information needed and they told me they would be out to me in 15 to 60 minutes. i called them back to see if they had tried to contact me cause all my calls weren't connecting the lady on the phone placed me on hold and called the tow truck driver to see if he had called me she came back to the phone and told no he had not called but would be calling in 20 minutes. 20 minutes came and went and no call so i called back. upon calling back they tell me they have no order for me by this time it 8 p.m. and the young lady is telling me that i declined to give information so no order was ever processed. liars! !! then they tell me they will be out in 30 minutes!!! i decided to call back in tell them to cancel the service because they went from a price of $75 to $125 to $134. about 30 minutes later the owner shows up why, i don't know as i had already canceled. i guess he thought i was still going to use his poor service since i was stuck in a ditch!! no way!!! as i had already told the young lady over the phone i don't spend my money with unprofessional rude people!! as he walked away he told me that he hoped my car rolled over!! and he is suppose to be the owner not good for business at all!!! read more
