My daughter was in a rollover accident and, unbeknownst to her, her car was towed and impounded by Cardinal Towing. The car was totaled and she had assumed that it was towed to a junkyard and that she would receive a bill for towing (she expected a bill for maybe $200). A month and a half later, she received an invoice for $4700! She was being charged $85 a day to store a non-drivable 2004 car which was totaled and which she had no idea was at the impound lot! To make matters worse- when we called to straighten this matter out, the agent with whom we spoke hung up on us! When we called back, they hung up again after refusing to provide their name or agent identification number! We are in the process of working with the MN Attorney General's office regarding this. Cardinal Towing is a very shady business and their customer service is extremely rude and unaccountable. Avoid this company at all costs. Update: The customer agent with whom we spoke said she was the supervisor. She was condescending, rude and hung up on us multiple times- by far the WORST customer service agent we've ever dealt with. She should not be working in customer service or in any job in which she would have contact with customers. read more

ZERO STARS IF I COULD !! i was involved in a hit and run, my car was totaled out . the tow person TOLD ME ! i could leave my car there (cardinal towing) & the next day i'd be able to get my things out of my vehicle because i wasn't able too that night of the accident . i come the VERY NEXT DAY to retrieve my items, they told me "no you'd need your title, id and insurance " i told them "i have 2 of the 3 things, can i atleast get items out of my car" they told me "no not until the fees were paid" i said "i wasn't aware of any fees because thats not what the tow person told me" . just with my car sitting there OVER NIGHT my fee was at $800, i'm highly upset . and they won't even LET ME SEE my vehicle until the fee IS paid, i might as well buy me a new car .... read more

I had a great experience with this towing company after being involved in a car accident. They were extremely professional and helpful throughout the entire towing process, making a stressful situation much easier to handle. Parking was a breeze as they have a spacious, open lot right out front. Overall, I'm very impressed with their service and would highly recommend them! Everything was free due to my car insurance paying so that was all taken care of before I arrived. read more

Zero stars. Do not let these AHoles tow your vehicle. Use literally anyone else. I didn't call them, I assume the Maple Grove police did. Wouldn't let me attempt to see if my car was drivable, and impounded it. Then attempted to charge me $980 to release it the next day, after obviously dragging their ass for 45 minutes, playing every game in the book. DO NOT CALL THEM! read more

Was in an accident where the other driver hit me from the side. My vehicle rolled over. Cardinal Towing was the service on call for the area. I have had experiences with other towing companies that have left me feeling less than secure, so naturally I was skeptical in spite of hearing positive comments about Cardinal Towing in the past. When I arrived to remove my belongings from the totaled vehicle... We found out the company is under new ownership! The staff was friendly, understanding, and very helpful. They verbally walked us through necessary steps to help keep their procedures coordinated, and documentation in orderly fashion. I found that they had even wrapped the broken windows to help prevent water/storm damage. My vehicle was reasonably secure, and in spite of a heavy storm the night before...my personal belongings were dry. I was very pleasantly surprised at the level of service, compassion, and courtesy displayed by this company This was a different and very positive experience for me. I was expecting the worst, and Cardinal Towing provided service beyond anything I could have hoped for. Thank you! read more

Disrespectful drivers. Told bike was fine and drivable. Come to find it's totaled and not drives me at all. It doesn't make sense to not jump start my bike and or to not let me know that it was damaged and that I would probably need to come pick it up. More the fact that they don't want to help the situation by telling me to push it out of there so it's not there liability. That's insane when I asked to just jump start the bike . I had a timing chain go out on my old Cutlass accelerating down an on-ramp. I called Cardinal Towing Service because they have just always been who my family calls for a tow when we can't do it ourselves. As usual, they were easy to work with on the phone, showed up quickly, competently towed the car, went the extra mile delivering it to just the the right spot in the driveway for repair. The charge seemed reasonable and overall it was a great value. I will always call Cardinal Towing when I need a tow near my home in the north suburbs! read more
